Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada Mata Pelajaran Boga Dasar (2) Hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada Mata Pelajaran Boga dasar, (3) Pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar Boga dasar. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara Total Sampling dengan jumlah 60 orang. Kelas X¹ berjumlah 30 orang dan kelas X² yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi data, uji kecenderungan, uji normalitas menggunakan rumus chi kuadrat, uji linieritas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kecenderungan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunanaan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada Mata Pelajaran Boga Dasar termasuk kategori cenderung tinggi sebesar 60 persen dan tingkat kecenderungan hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada Mata Pelajaran Boga dasar termassuk kategori cenderung cukup sebesar 83 persen. Hasil uji normalitas dari kedua kelas adalah berdistribusi normal dengan nilai kelas eksperimen (Xhitung = 4,80 < Xtabel = 11,07), kelas kontrol (Xhitung = 3,86 < Xtabel = 11,07). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis (Uji t) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar Boga dasar dengan nilai > (6,87>1,661) pada taraf signifikan 5%. Artinya model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran Boga Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan e-learning. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dirancang untuk pembelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik Kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Swasta Dwiwarna Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Riset & Develomment model ADDIE. Validasi ahli media digunakan untuk melihat kelayakan media. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan validasi dari ahli media menunjukkan rata-rata 4,17 diinterpretasikan pada katagori sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil Validasi ahli materi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 4,58 diigterpretasikan sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai materi pembelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik Kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of teachers' transactional leadership through digital literacy on the quality of student learning. In today's digital era, a teacher's ability to apply digital literacy in the learning process is crucial for creating a dynamic and participatory learning environment. Teachers' transactional leadership, characterized by active student involvement in decision-making and the freedom to express opinions, is expected to enhance the quality of student learning. The research employed a quantitative survey, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to junior high school students. The study showed that teachers who adopt a transactional leadership style and utilize digital technology in the classroom can increase student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. Digital literacy becomes a key tool for teachers to deliver more interactive, relevant, and contemporary learning experiences. Therefore, the integration of transactional leadership and digital literacy has a significant impact on improving the quality of student learning. This research suggests enhancing digital literacy training for teachers and encouraging the application of a transactional leadership approach to support better educational quality.

Abstract

Teacher performance plays a critical role in improving educational quality. This study analyzes the influence of democratic leadership by school principals, management of work stress, and work ethic on teacher performance in Catholic junior high schools in Karo Regency. Employing a quantitative approach, data were analyzed using regression and path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results indicate that democratic leadership has both a direct positive effect on teacher performance (path coefficient = 0.246) and an indirect effect through work ethic. Democratic leadership also positively influences work ethic (coefficient = 0.213), while work stress management has an even stronger effect on work ethic (coefficient = 0.266). Among all variables, work ethic exerts the strongest influence on teacher performance (coefficient = 0.515), making it the most dominant factor. These findings suggest that while effective leadership and stress management contribute to better teacher outcomes, strengthening teachers’ work ethic is key to achieving optimal performance. School management should therefore prioritize fostering a positive work culture and supportive environment to enhance both work ethic and performance.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of change management concerning the teacher code of ethics at SMA Unggul Del in the context of Generation Z student behavior. The objective is to evaluate the extent and effectiveness of change management strategies applied to the teacher's code of ethics in addressing the specific behavioral characteristics of Generation Z students within this educational setting. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and questionnaires to gain comprehensive insights. The findings revealed inconsistencies between teachers' comprehension of the ethical code and its practical application, alongside difficulties in managing technology use, a prominent aspect of Generation Z's behavior. Consequently, this research suggests the necessity of targeted change interventions, such as continuous professional development and collaborative strategy development. In conclusion, effective change management is crucial for enhancing the practical application of the teacher code of ethics, thereby fostering a more supportive and productive learning environment tailored to the needs of Generation Z students

Abstract

Manajemen perencanaan strategik merupakan kegiatan  yang meliputi analisis lingkungan baik eksternal dan internal, menetapkan visi, misi dan tujuan, merumuskan strategi, mengimplementasi strategi dan yang terkahir evaluasi dan pengendalian terhadap ketercapaian. Proses manajemen strategik dilakukan berbentuk siklus yang terus berulang untuk  mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implemetasi manajemen perencanaan strategik pada Universitas Jabal Ghafur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengamatan dan studi dokumen Renstra pada Universitas Jabal Ghafur. Berdasarkan analisis model perencanaan strategik pada Renstra Universitas Jabal Ghafur dengan merujuk pada model perencanaan strategik yang telah diungkapkan para ahli maka menunjukkan bahwa model perencanaan strategik yang terdapat pada Renstra Univeristas Jabal Ghafur masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan diantaranya belum adanya tahadap evaluasi dan pengendalian terhadap kinerja terutama kinerja dosen dan tendik   selanjuntnya pada tahapan implementasi strategik belum ada pembahasan tentang anggaran, baik jumlah anggaran yang tersedia serta jumlah anggaran yang diperlukan, ketersediaan anggaran sangat berpengaruh terhadap pelaksaan strategi yang akan dilakukan untuk mendukung visi,misi dan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil temuan ini menjadi masukan bagi pimipinan universitas dalam merevisi Renstra agar sesuai dengan pedoman manajemen strategik yang telah diungkapkan menurut pendapat para ahli.Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Perencanaan Strategik Pendidikan, Mutu Pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct effects of several variables as follows: the democratic leadership style of school principals on work motivation; interpersonal communication on work motivation; the democratic leadership style of school principals on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers; interpersonal communication on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers; and work motivation on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers. The population of this study includes 55 guidance and counseling teachers working in public vocational high schools in Deli Serdang Regency. Based on calculations using the Slovin formula, a sample of 35 individuals was obtained through random sampling methods. Data collection was conducted through instrument trials, showing very high reliability: democratic leadership of school principals: 0.807; interpersonal communication 0.825; work motivation 0.810; and performance of guidance and counseling teachers 0.807. This research employs path analysis to gather information related to the study and test the relevant theories. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the democratic leadership style of school principals, interpersonal communication, and work motivation have a positive influence on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work mo- tivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Selayang District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quan- titative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for val- idity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test in- cluding normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.0000.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive ef- fect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transforma- tional leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.0000.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, re- spectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.
