Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work mo- tivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Selayang District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quan- titative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for val- idity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test in- cluding normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.0000.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive ef- fect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transforma- tional leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.0000.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, re- spectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the increase in the creativity of students' Industrial Engineering products. The research method is descriptive research, with a sample of 132 people. Products that are engineered by students' ideas produced in the research are assessed by experts to verify the creativity of industrial engineering products. The results showed that the implementation of a computer simulation model could increase the creativity of student industrial engineering products in the Faculty of Engineering, Unimed.            Keywords: Industrial Enginering ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan daya cipta produk Rekayasa Industri mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan jumlah sampel 132 orang. Produk hasil rekayasa ide yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian dinilai oleh para ahli untuk memverifikasi daya cipta produk Rerkayasa Industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model simulasi komputer dapat meningkatkan daya cipta produk Rekayasa  industri mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Unimed.          Kata Kunci:  Rekayasa Industri

Abstract

Data is an important element in policy making, especially in educational management in the transformation era. In addition to data, managerial competencies of educational leaders who are adaptive to change are also needed. Both will strengthen the running of educational organizations. This study aims to analyze the nature of managerial competencies of leaders in educational transformation while analyzing education report as a basis for educational policy making. This study uses a descriptive method with a constructivist approach that relies on secondary data, namely regional education report and literature on leadership and managerial competencies. The analysis process is carried out by identifying educational problems, then mapping them with an Ishikawa diagram. Alternative solutions to problems related to programs and policies that touch on the technical realm are not discussed in depth, because the analysis focuses more on the concept of managerial competencies of educational leaders. The results of the study are in the form of a concept of managerial competencies of leaders in educational transformation that includes 3 domains of knowledge, skills, and managerial attitudes, consisting of (1) data literacy and databased decision making, (2) reflective and contextual leadership, (3) human resource development and organizational culture, (4) technology and innovation management, (5) interpersonal skills and organizational ethics, (6) focus on the functions, duties and attitudes of managers. This research provides practical implications, namely as a role model for increasing the capacity of regional education leaders, and theoretical implications, namely as a basis for further research in the field.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Deli Murni Bandar Baru, Sibolangit. Sebagai sekolah penggerak, SMA Deli Murni Bandar Baru diharuskan menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka sesuai Permendikbud No. 5 Tahun 2022. Kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap krusial dalam memfasilitasi perubahan positif dan pengadopsian Kurikulum Merdeka. Dalam konteks ini, kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin pedagogis, menginspirasi staf dan siswa untuk mengadopsi perubahan positif, mengembangkan potensi, dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Tantangan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melibatkan kesiapan sekolah, terutama dalam aspek sumber daya manusia dan faktor geografis. Diperlukan kesiapan dan kompetensi kepala sekolah dalam memimpin dan menggerakkan seluruh elemen sekolah agar implementasi kurikulum berjalan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah berhasil menerapkan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan melibatkan seluruh tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan. Kepemimpinan tersebut memberikan dukungan terhadap perubahan kurikulum, mengatasi hambatan, dan menciptakan lingkungan kondusif untuk implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Deli Murni Bandar Baru.

Abstract

Strategic management is planning, monitoring, analysis and evaluation that is carried out on an ongoing basis from all the needs needed by organizations both in the world of education in an effort to achieve their goals. The purpose of strategic management in the world of education is an effort to improve education based on established laws. The implementation of strategic management of the school environment includes internal and external analysis and reaches a strategic evaluation to determine the extent to which results have been achieved. This study aims to describe the strategic management of Uisu Siantar Private High School based on an analysis of the internal environment. The internal environment is an environment that has a direct influence on the operation of educational institutions, such as curriculum, students, teaching and educational staff, facilities and infrastructure as the potential of the school itself, the competitive situation, the situation of educational customers, and graduate users. Everything influences the determination of strategies that are expected to support the school in achieving its goals. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive type. While collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data presentation and conclusion. The application of strategic management in education is carried out through the preparation of strategy formulation and strategy implementation, by combining school-based management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dasar serta implikasinya terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Lokasi penelitian adalah SD Negeri 023908 Binjai yang dipilih secara purposive karena memiliki jumlah peserta didik besar dengan keterbatasan fasilitas. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya defisit dua ruang kelas dari 12 rombongan belajar, rasio toilet siswa yang jauh di atas standar (2 toilet untuk 268 siswa, rasio 1:134), serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kondisi ini berdampak pada penerapan sistem pembelajaran bergilir, antrean panjang di fasilitas sanitasi, dominasi metode ceramah, serta menurunnya efektivitas pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana, khususnya ruang kelas, toilet, dan media TIK, merupakan prasyarat penting bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi penambahan ruang kelas dan toilet sesuai standar, pengadaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, serta penguatan manajemen sarana-prasarana melalui pemanfaatan data Dapodik dan optimalisasi Dana BOS.
