Abstract

Struktur komunitas makrozoobentos merupakan data dasar ekosistem pantai yang perlu diketahui. Penelitian struktur komunitas makrozoobentos di perairan pantai Kuwang Wae dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Maret 2012. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas makrozoobentos di perairan pantai Kuwang Wae. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 29 jenis makrozoobentos yang termasuk dalam filum Mollusca, 3 jenis termasuk dalam filum Annelida, 2 jenis termasuk dalam filum Arthtropoda, 2 jenis termasuk dalam filum Echinodermata, dan 1 jenis termasuk dalam filum Sipuncula. Komposisi jenis, kepadatan populasi, keanekaragaman dan kemerataan jenis makrozoobentos di kedua lokasi penelitian berbeda. Secara keseluruhan keanekaragaman dan kemerataan jenis makrozoobentos di Lokasi I lebih tinggi dibandingkan Lokasi II.

Abstract

Program PkM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dalam mengidentifikasi zat aditif pada makanan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga makanan, bisa berpartisipasi dalam upaya perbaikan diri dan cerdas memilih bahan pangan. Metode yang dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut adalah penyuluhan dan demonstrasi yang melibatkan siswa sebagai khalayak sasaran dan subjek. Demonstrasi dilakukan untuk melatih dan  memberikan  pemahaman  kepada  siswa  dalam  mengidentifikasi  kandungan  pengawet berbahaya dalam makanan. Luaran kegiatan ini berupa keterampilan menguji zat aditif pada makanan dan minuman; Artikel ilmiah (publikasi nasional). Hasil kegiatan yang telah dicapai antara lain kegiatan tersebut memberikan banyak manfaat bagi siswa dan guru disekolah mitra, memiliki keterampilan dalam mengidentifikasi atau menguji zat aditif pada makanan dan minuman yang dapat diaplikasikan serta dijadikan acuan dalam memilih makanan dan minuman yang sehat untuk dikonsumsi.Kata Kunci: Zat Aditif, Demonstrasi

Abstract

In preparing students who have the skills to respond to the challenges of the times and face the demands of 21st century learning, teachers need to develop students' science literacy and design learning in accordance with the characteristics and learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study is to develop learning with PjBL with STEAM approach model integrated science literacy. Research is carried out through the stages of needs analysis, product design, product development, product implementation and evaluation. The research object was grade X students of SMAN 2 Selong totaling 35 students with 25 female students and 10 male students. Research instruments include needs analysis questionnaire guidelines, product validation guidelines, product practicality guidelines, teacher response guidelines and learning outcomes tests on ecosystem materials.  The collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis.  Data analysis showed that the product developed was classified as valid with an average score of validation by 3 experts, namely linguists, material experts and learning technology experts respectively 83.91, 84.64 and 83.73.  The product is also classified as practical with an average practicality score of 82.63. The product is classified as effective with an effectiveness percentage of 88.57%. The developed product has high potential in improving student learning outcomes on ecosystem materials with an N-Gain of 0.76

This study aims to develop a PjBL with STEAM approach model in improving  science literacy ability of high school students. This study is a development research with the Borg Gall development model. The sample of this study was class X students of SMAN 2 Selong, totaling 35 students. The instruments used to collect data include guidelines for validating learning design, practicality questionnaires and science literacy ability tests on ecosystem materials. The data analysis used in this study used descriptive analysis. Based on the validation analysis, the products developed are included in the valid category indicated by the average score of product validation by 3 experts, namely linguists, material experts and learning technology experts successively 83.91; 84.64 and 83.73. Similarly, in terms of practicality, the products developed are also classified as practical with an average practicality score of 82.63. The product is also classified as effective with a percentage of effectiveness of 88.57%. Abstract

Hydroponic farming has emerged as an effective alternative to overcome land limitations, especially in urban and compact residential areas. Focusing on two Madrasah Aliyah in East Lombok, the Community Service Program by the Biology Education Department of Universitas Hamzanwadi implemented hydroponic techniques as an innovative farming method. This initiative aimed to enhance environmental awareness and farming skills among students, while utilizing styrofoam waste as a planting medium. The process included socialization, seedling production, planting, maintenance, and harvesting, using plants such as water spinach, lettuce, and spinach. The implementation method incorporated Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), enabling active participation from students and teachers. The program was conducted from March to November 2023 at MA NWDI Juet and MA Ridlol Walidain NW Batu Bangka - Jenggik. The mentoring process involved various stages, from introducing hydroponic techniques to creating planting media and planting, including the use of AB Mix nutrients and rockwool as planting media. The results of the activity showed successful cultivation of hydroponic water spinach, while lettuce and spinach experienced crop failure. The primary causes of this failure were inadequate care, light, and temperature. Nevertheless, the activity successfully educated students on the importance of hydroponic agriculture and creative waste utilization, providing new insights into urban farming. In conclusion, the hydroponic approach can be an efficient solution for cultivating plants in limited spaces, offering educational and environmental benefits. This program also highlighted the potential of styrofoam waste as a hydroponic planting medium, underscoring the importance of waste utilization for environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Implementation of Project Based Learning To Improve Creative Thinking Skills Throuh Lesson Study. Objective : This study aims to improve students' creative thinking skills by applying project-based learning through lesson study. Method: This research uses classroom action research through lesson study with three open classes with a total of 16 subjects of departement  biology education, Universitas Hamzanwadi  . The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings: Student activity scores during the learning process from the first, second and third open classes were 73.62%, 80.09% and 84.72% there was an average increase in activity of 5.56%. Data on students' creative thinking ability were obtained successively by 75%, 81.25% and 93.75%, there was an average increase of 9.38%. Conclusion: The application of project-based learning through lesson study can improve students' creative thinking skills. Keywords: project based learning, creative thinking, lesson study.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202206
