Abstract

UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung encounters obstacles in its archival management due to a shortage of human resources. The objective of this research is to illustrate how the management of archives can be improved to promote better administrative structure at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung and identify the challenges it faces. This study utilizes a descriptive approach to qualitative research methodology. Data collection involves observation, interviews with one archivist and two archive users, and documentation. The validity of the data is ensured through the triangulation technique. The research findings reveal that archive management at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung operates effectively, adopting a decentralized approach where each faculty assumes responsibility for receiving, recording, distributing, and retrieving archives. The implementation of digital systems such as Sistem Informasi Tata Naskah Dinas (Si-TANDA) has made a significant contribution to maintaining well-organized administration. In the future, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung needs to prioritize the augmentation of its human resources.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi dalam penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan informasi pada ibumenyusui, terutama informasi mengenai pola hidup sehat, akan tetapi sumber informasi yang adadi masyarakat tidak semuanya dapat dibuktikan kebenarannya (rawan hoax). Tujuan dari penelitianini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pencarian informasi dan hambatan pada ibu menyusuidalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi tentang pola hidup sehat. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakanmetode kualitatif field research atau penelitian lapangan melalui tahapan yang dilalui yaitu observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancaraterstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan untuk melihat fenomena tentang permasalah-an yang dikaji dan dialami oleh ibu menyusui di Desa Tanggulwelahan Kecamatan Besuki KabupatenTulungagung adalah teori Ellis yang menggambarkan tahapan pencarian. Tahapan yang akan diterapkan berupa starting, chainning, browsing, differentiating, monitoring. Dari hasil penelitian di temu-kan bahwa ibu menyusui di Desa Tanggulwelahan menerapkan tahapan yang sesuai dengan teori Ellis,Aktifitas pertama ibu menyusui di Desa Tanggulwelahan dalam proses pencarian informasi adalahstarting yaitu menentukan topik informasi yang dicari dan media pencari informasi. Kemudian chainningyaitu mencari rujukan, ibu menyusui memperhatikan identitas artikel dengan melihat siapa penulisnya.Browsing melakukan pencarian informasi melalui mesin pencari seperti google, website penyediainformasi kesehatan, media sosial seperti tiktok, instagram, facebook. Differentiating yaitu kegiatanmemilah informasi dengan membandingkan informasi satu dengan lainnya, dilakukan ibu menyusuidengan melakukan scrolling pada tampilan hasil pencarian informasi dan membacanya denganseksama. Monitoring mengikuti perkembangan informasi dengan pemantauan berkala pada topik yangsama. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diharapkan ibu menyusui lebih selektif lagi dalam melakukan pencari-an infomasi menggunakan platform-platform kesehatan digital untuk meningkatkan kemapuan merekadalam melakukan proses pencarian informasi dengan sumber yang dapat akan lebih baik lagi jikalembaga kesehatan terdekat lebih banyak lagi mengadakan sosialisasi, workshop, seminar untukmenambah pengetahuan ibu menyusui mengenai informasi tentang pola hidup sehat.Kata Kunci : Pencarian Informasi, Ibu menyusui, Pola Hidup Sehat

Abstract

Background. Promotion is the most important part of an organization to inform a product that is produced. The challenge is that special libraries need to promote services and collections so that users can also take advantage of during the Pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out the promotion, strategy, and innovation used by UPT Bung Karno Library during the pandemic in improving its services.Methodology. This study uses qualitative methods. This study obtained data through interviews, observation, and documentation from informants who were taken by purposive sampling, then analysed them using descriptive analysis techniques.Results and discussion. The study can be seen that the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library conducts promotions using social media, brochures, exhibitions, and socialization. In addition, the strategy used by Bung Karno's proclaimer UPT Library in promoting the library to the public focused more on Bung Karno's ideas and thoughts. How to improve services at the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library by creating the "SILAKAN" program and creating the "ISU Karno" application which is used to access collections at the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library.Conclusions. The Bung Karno Proclamator Library UPT has been working on promotions, strategies and innovations to improve its services during the pandemic, and carried out agitation so that it is hoped that more people will visit the library.

Abstract

The security of collections is critically important for safeguarding college libraries. One of the security measures implemented is the use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems. This study aims to examine the application of RFID technology for collection security and to identify the challenges encountered in its implementation at the UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Library. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, systematically and accurately portraying the facts observed in the field. The informants include the head librarian and the coordinator of the ICT introduction and repository. Data collection methods consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the RFID system effectively enhances collection security at the UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Library. Security is achieved through stickers affixed to the back covers of books, making them less noticeable to users. Furthermore, RFID technology can detect books that have not been checked out by triggering an alarm when passing through the security gate. A significant challenge faced is the frequent downtime of the system network, which cannot be resolved immediately. This issue may disrupt borrowing transactions, leading to discrepancies in transaction data within the application. Such challenges can be mitigated by increasing the bandwidth to address the existing issues adequately.

Abstract

Beragamnya informasi yang tersebar di media sosial instagram menjadikan seseorang memiliki keinginan dalam menyimpan, menemukan kembali informasi dengan mudah. Oleh karena itu kegiatan personal information management perlu dilakukan agar informasi yang tersimpan juga dikelola. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pola personal information management pada fitur saved post di instagram oleh mahasiswa UIN SATU Tulungagung dan juga mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dipilih 6 informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan personal information management yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa meliputi penemuan informasi, penyimpanan pengelompokan informasi, pemeliharaan informasi, pengelolaan arus informasi, dan juga dengan menggunakan fitur saved post memberikan efektifitas dan efisiensi sehingga membantu dalam menemukan kembali informasi. Kendala yang didapati mahasiswa adalah pada kegiatan penemuan informasi dan pengelompokan informasi.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kini membawa perubahan yang sangat menyeluruh hingga menyebabkan terjadinya ledakan informasi yang berlebihan serta belum dapat dipastikan kebenaran suatu informasi tersebut. Hal tersebut sangat berpengaruh terutama pada informasi mengenai kesehatan. Maka perlu diperhatikan oleh generasi milenial moms dalam menyaring suatu informasi digital agar tidak terjadi masalah dalam penerapan di kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan literasi digital terhadap perilaku kebutuhan informasi kesehatan ibu dan anak di Desa Bakung Temenggungan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif statistik inferensi. Populasinya diambil dari milenial moms berusia 20-37 tahun berjumlah 160 dengan sampel sebanyak 61 milenial moms menggunakan rumus slovin. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan uji analisis regresi linier sederhana yang mana menghasilkan data ada atau tidaknya pengaruh variabel X (kemampuan literasi digital ) dengan variabel Y (perilaku kebutuhan informasi). Dari hasil analisis yang sudah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kemampuan literasi digital terhadap perilaku kebutuhan informasi sebesar 0,643 (41,3%) dan sissanya 58,7% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain diluar penelitian.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perilaku pencarian pecinta bulu tangkis Indonesia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pencarian informasi tentang informasi pertandingan BWF World Tour 2024 di media sosial X (Twitter). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku pencarian informasi pecinta bulu tangkis yang dijelaskan dalam batasan perilaku informasi menurut Wilson yakni perilaku penemuan informasi, perilaku penemuan informasi, perilaku pencarian informasi, dan perilaku penggunaan informasi. Dari perilaku-perilaku ini, dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pecinta bulu tangkis sebagai berikut (1) kebutuhan kognitif dapat dipenuhi melalui perilaku informasi, perilaku penemuan informasi dan perilaku pencarian informasi; (2) kebutuhan afektif dapat dipenuhi melalui perilaku penemuan informasi; (3) kebutuhan integrasi personal serta (4) kebutuhan integrasi sosial dapat dipenuhi melalui perilaku pencarian informasi dan perilaku penggunaan informasi; dan (5) kebutuhan berkhayal dapat dipenuhi melalui perilaku penemuan informasi dan perilaku penggunaan informasi. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi pecinta bulu tangkis meliputi jaringan internet, kredibilitas informasi, keterbatasan informasi, dan keterlambatan informasi terbaru.

Abstract

Libraries have entered a new era where libraries are no longer just a place to store books, but can also support education by providing services and information. To meet user needs, libraries need to make various innovations based on current circumstances. This is realized by the Ngawi Regent's Library and Archives Office through the JASBESKAPMERAH service innovation. This study aims to determine the implementation and constraints of JASBESKAPMERAH services at the Ngawi Regency Library and Archives Office. The type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach method. The data collection technique is three ways: participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in qualitative research are applied when data collection is carried out within a certain period by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of JASBESKAPMERAH services has a target, namely elementary school students who are quite enthusiasm about participating in various activities, one of which is free shuttle, ANBK simulation using computers, and historical memory activities. The obstacles that occur are the lack of facilities and infrastructure, limited time, and historical reminiscence activities that have not been carried out optimally.

Abstract

Introduction: One of the developments in the era of technology and communication is daily access, for example the internet, which is useful for being able to search for information and provide it to other people. The large amount of incoming information can cause many works to be plagiarized, and one way to prevent this is to use the Turnitin application. The aim of this research is to find out how users perceive the understanding of the Turnitin application to prevent plagiarism in Islamic library and information science research programs. Data Collection Methods: This research uses quantitative descriptive research. Respondents were taken from Islamic Library and Information Science students for the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 123 students, with a sample size of 55 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form and measured using a Likert scale. Data Analysis: Data analysis uses (1) Variable description analysis, (2) Normality test with the Kolmogrov Smirnov formula to see whether the data is normal or not, (3) Linearity test with a significance value of Deviation from linearity >0.05 then linear, (4) Linear regression test to ensure the relationship between variables x and y. Results and Discussion: The research results show that students' perceptions of the cognitive aspect have the highest index value, while the aspect that needs to be improved is the affection aspect. Student understanding comes from externally. For the simple linear regression test requirements, the data must be valid, reliable, normal and linear, therefore by using a simple linear regression analysis test you can look for relationships to obtain a correlation/relationship value (R) of 0.415. The determinant coefficient (R Square) value obtained through SPSS data processing is 0.172, indicating that the independent variable (perception) has an influence of 17.2% on the dependent variable (understanding). Conclusion: Libraries need to hold workshops on plagiarism or Turnitin to check word similarities to identify plagiarism in final assignments and articles. The target is the entire academic community (lecturers, staff, and students). Therefore, it is hoped that these findings can become the basis for further research and can be continued.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the need of government agencies for an efficient, responsive, and digital-based archive management system in line with the demands of bureaucratic reform and the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System (SRIKANDI) at the Tulungagung Regency Library and Archives Office and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the use of the SRIKANDI system at the Tulungagung Regency Library and Archives Office. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation of three informants, namely the head of the archives division, the Dynamic Archives Sub-Division, and the Archivist. The data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that SRIKANDI has a positive impact on improving productivity, work efficiency, employee satisfaction, digital technology adaptation, and the system's sustainability in archive management. However, challenges such as network disruptions, limited human resources, and suboptimal system features remain. Overall, SRIKANDI has proven effective in supporting modern and sustainable dynamic archive management, contributing to administrative orderliness and improved public services.
