Abstract

Literary works are a depiction of the imaginary life of a writer. One form of literary work is film. This study aims to describe the moral values ​​in the film entitled MARS "Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta" by director Sahrul Gibran. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method and a sociological approach to literature. The focus of this research is the moral values ​​contained in the film which is the object of research. To classify the data, moral values ​​according to Burhan Nurgiyantoro were used, which divide moral values ​​into three parts, namely (1) moral values ​​related to humans with themselves, (2) moral values ​​related to humans with other humans in the social and natural spheres, (3) moral values ​​related to humans with God. Data collection was carried out by document analysis through a review of scenes, dialogues, and the actions of the main characters. The results of this study indicate that in the film MARS "Mimpi Amanda Raih Semesta" there are three moral values ​​related to oneself in the form of hard work, never giving up, patience and determination, and self-confidence. Three moral values ​​related to others in the form of compassion, empathy, and mutual assistance. As well as two moral values ​​related to God in the form of sincerity and the power of prayer. This film depicts a mother who persistently fights for her child's education as a form of love, sacrifice and deep faith.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the psychological aspects of the main character in the novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Before Death by Brian Khrisna using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory as the main foundation. The method used is a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. The focus of the research is on the interaction of Freud's three personality structures, namely id, ego, and superego in describing the inner conflicts experienced by the character. The results of the analysis show that the conflict between the instinctive impulse (id) to avoid suffering, the mechanism of self-control (ego), and moral demands or social norms (superego) form a realistic and complex psychological picture of the character. This dynamic also reveals how the characters struggle to find meaning in life in conditions of depression and existential crisis. This study shows that Freud's psychoanalytic approach is effective for the study of literary psychology in exploring mental health problems and the search for meaning in contemporary Indonesian literary works.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the emotional journey of children in dealing with the loss of the father figure as represented in the novel Father, This Is the Direction to Where, huh? by Khoirul Trian. This study uses a literary psychology approach with Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory which includes aspects of id, ego, and superego. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of documentation studies through the extraction of relevant quotes from the novel. The data analysis technique is carried out using content analysis with the stages of reading the text in depth, determining the unit of analysis, classifying the data based on psychological aspects, and interpreting the meaning of the text. The results showed that the id aspect was the most dominant element with six citations, while the ego and superego aspects were found in two citations each. Thus, this novel represents the psychological process of children who experience the loss of a father in a complex and layered manner, as well as depicting psychological dynamics that are relevant to the emotional phenomena of the younger generation in the Indonesian social context.

Abstract

Pidato presiden merupakan wacana strategis yang tidak hanya menyampaikan kebijakan pemerintahan, tetapi juga merepresentasikan visi, ideologi, dan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan nasional yang dapat memengaruhi persepsi publik. Dalam konteks politik Indonesia pasca Pemilu 2024, pidato kenegaraan pertama Presiden Prabowo Subianto pada momen simbolis HUT ke-80 Kemerdekaan RI menjadi objek kajian yang penting untuk diungkap strategi wacana di baliknya, mengingat posisinya yang strategis dalam membentuk opini publik dan membangun legitimasi pemerintahan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur makro dan struktur mikro teks pidato Presiden Prabowo Subianto pada sidang tahunan MPR RI dalam rangka HUT ke-80 kemerdekaan RI tahun 2025 menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk. Fokus analisis dibatasi pada dua dimensi utama dari kerangka Van Dijk, yaitu struktur makro (tematik) yang menelaah tema utama wacana, dan struktur mikro yang mencakup aspek semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, serta retoris dalam teks. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur makro dalam teks pidato Presiden Prabowo Subianto merepresentasikan makna kemerdekaan, kedaulatan, dan kesejahteraan rakyat sebagai tema sentral. Pada struktur mikro ditemukan strategi semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, dan retoris yang digunakan sebagai upaya membangun legitimasi, membentuk citra kepemimpinan, dan memengaruhi cara pandang audiens terhadap pemerintahan Prabowo Subianto. Secara sosial-politik, strategi wacana yang ditemukan ini berimplikasi pada pembentukan opini publik yang kohesif di tengah dinamika nasional, memperkuat diskursus tentang kemandirian bangsa, serta membangun narasi kepemimpinan yang tegas dan berpihak pada rakyat. Hal ini pada akhirnya berpotensi memantapkan dukungan publik terhadap arah kebijakan pemerintah dan memperteguh identitas nasional dalam wacana politik kontemporer Indonesia.
