Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student ability through independent tasks and experiment methods in the Science Tadris Study Program of Physics, UIN Imam Bonjol "with the concepts of temperature and the first law of thermodynamics and heat capacity. The results showed that the value of the independent assignment on the temperature concept material with an average pre-test score of 39.03 and an average post-test score of 60.32. From the results of the prestest and posttest, the percentage increase in value was 55.45%. In the first law material of thermodynamics and heat capacity, the learning process in the first law material of thermodynamics is an independent task coupled with experiments. The results obtained are the value of independent assignments on the subject of law I thermodynamics and heat capacity with an average pre-test value of 55.15 and an average posttest score of 77.39. From the results of the prestest and posttest, the percentage increase in value was 41.45%. Furthermore, the experimental value with the material of the first law of thermodynamics obtained an average experimental value at the pretest of 53.04 and the average result of the posttest was 74.04. The percentage increase between the pretest and poststest values was 40.79%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the posttest average was higher than the average prestest so it could be concluded that through the independent assignment method and experimentation it could improve students' abilities on the concept of temperature, first law of thermodynamics and heat capacity.

Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik belum maksimal dalam setiap pembelajaran fisika karena belum adanya bahan belajar yang membantu meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi. Terlebih lagi pembelajaran Fisika yang dikenal sulit dan abstrak membutuhkan bahan ajar yang dapat membuat pemeblajaran Fisika lebih menyenagkan dan mudah dipahami.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul berbasis Etno-STEM berbantuan Canva terintegrasi alat musik Gordang Sambilan terhadap keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Developement) dengan menggunakan model plomp dengan 3 tahap: 1) penelitian pendahuluan, 2) pengembangan prototipe, dan 3) evaluasi atau penilaian. e-modul berbasis Etno-STEM berbantuan Canva terintegrasi alat musik Gordang Sambilan terhadap keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik sangat valid sebesar 89%, sangat praktis sebesar 88,27% dan sangat efektif sebesar 83,11%.

Abstract

The integration of the Qur'an and science is one of the characteristics of madrasah. However, there are differences of opinion among teachers about the obligation to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on how teachers perceive the integration of the Qur'an and science in learning. This study uses a quantitavie approach. The data collection method was through the survey by giving questionnaires to teachers who are members of the MGMP IPA MTs throughout the city of Padang. Of the 50 teachers who are members of the MGMP there are 47 teachers who fill out the questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the majority of teachers agree that the form of the relationship between science and the Koran is integrated. However, in implementing the integration of Al-Quran and Science, it should not only be the responsibility of the science teacher, but also the role of the religious teacher. Teachers also feel the need to take part in various trainings in order to be able to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an properly.

Abstract

TRAINING ON DEVELOPMENT OF AL-QURAN INTEGRATED SCIENCE LEARNING DEVICES BASED ON BLENDED LEARNING. One thing that the teacher must prepare before carrying out learning is learning tools. To prepare for this, teachers must always update their knowledge by referring to the needs of students and following technological developments. One of the needs of today's students is assistance to have good morals and technology-based learning because current students are students known as Generation Z. So that training is carried out on the development of integrated learning tools for integrated Al-Quran based on blended learning. The method used in this service activity is the method of training and technology substitution. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about blended learning, how to integrate the Quran and science in learning, and an increase in the motivation of teachers in developing integrated science learning tools that integrated Al-Quran based on blended learning that could really be applied in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) sebagai standar pembelajaran sains memungkinkan peserta didik membangun hubungan ilmiah antara teori dan praktik ilmiah. NGSS menetapkan kemampuan science and engineering practices, yang tidak hanya memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep tetapi juga partisipasi langsung dalam praktik sains. Kemampuan ini mencakup delapan praktik sains dan teknik rekayasa: (1) bertanya dan mendefinisikan masalah, (2) mengembangkan dan menggunakan model, (3) merencanakan dan melaksanakan investigasi, (4) menganalisis dan menafsirkan data, (5) menggunakan matematika dan pemikiran komputasi, (6) membangun penjelasan dan merancang solusi, (7) berkomunikasi informasi, dan (8) bekerja kolaboratif dalam praktik ilmiah dan teknik rekayasa. Penelitian ini merupakan RD dengan model Plomp, meliputi penelitian pendahuluan, pengembangan prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan science and engineering practices setelah penggunaan e-modul suhu dan kalor dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pendidikan berbasis tempat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PjBL (Project-based Learning) based teaching materials in the context of magnetic electricity learning and measure its impact on improving students' experimental abilities. The development method of these teaching materials follows the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The analysis stage includes the needs of teaching materials, student characteristics, and learning material analysis. The design of teaching materials involves creating flowcharts and interactive multimedia storyboards. Development involves realizing the product design in the form of e-modules and validating the product by experts. The implementation stage is carried out to test the learning outcomes using e-modules on students. Evaluation is conducted to assess the effectiveness of teaching materials based on the analysis results at the implementation stage. This research shows that PjBL-based teaching materials are effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and experimental skills. These findings provide a significant contribution to higher education development by strengthening project-based learning approaches to facilitate deeper understanding and practical skills in the field of magnetic electricity.

Abstract

Planning and carrying out investigations (PCOI) among students are still low, and teachers pay less attention to differences in the abilities of each student, so they have not achieved optimal results. This research aims to develop of a chemistry e-module using the trait treatment interaction (TTI) model to increase valid, practical, and effective's PCOI capabilities. TTI is considered an ideal learning model because it can accommodate and value individual differences among students. The research framework employed in this study follows a research and development method with a define, design, development, and disseminate (4D) model. The results indicate that the high validity level achieved an average score of 84.3% in terms of materials, language, and media aspects. The practicality test of the products also received an average score of 86.2%. The product's effectiveness is categorized as very effective, with students' test results averaging 82.3%. The e-module is deemed valid, practical, and effective in enhancing PCOI capabilities.

Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum is a new curriculum implemented in Indonesia since 2022. After almost two years of implementation, curriculum implementers, especially teachers, are still in the adaptation stage of this curriculum. Even though the Ministry of Education has implemented various supporting programs for the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, such as the “guru penggerak” program, it turns out that not all teachers have the opportunity to take part in the program. So that in the learning process in the classroom there are still many teachers who experience difficulties. One of the main problems for teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum is that teachers have never developed lesson plans in the form of teaching modules. Therefore, through community service (PkM), the service team conducted workshop in developing teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum for teachers who are members of the MGMP IPA MTs in Padang-Pariaman City. This PkM activity is carried out with a service learning approach. The result of this PkM activity is that teachers are able to develop teaching module templates which will be used as a basis for developing PjBL–based plans to strengthen the profile of Pancasila.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a physics electronic module using the Trait Treatment Interaction (TTI) model based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to improve students' ability to Construct Explanations and Design Solutions (CEDs) and to test its effectiveness on the topic of Environmental Pollution for grade X SMA/MA. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The Define stage includes front-end, student, task, and concept analysis, while the Design stage involves preparing instruments and selecting media. The Develop stage consists of validation by content, media, and language experts, followed by product trials with educators and students, and the Disseminate stage focuses on distributing the effective product. The research subjects were 34 students of class X.I MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. The findings show that the developed e-module is of very high quality and highly valid, with an average score of 89.24% from expert validators, while its practicality level reached 88.97% based on evaluations from educators and students. The e-module also proved very effective in improving students’ CEDs abilities, indicated by an average test score of 90%. High-ability students (faster learners) experienced significant improvement through self-learning, whereas low-ability students (slower learners) benefited more from regular teaching accompanied by additional tutorials. Based on these results, it is recommended that the e-module be further developed for other physics topics, and future researchers are encouraged to optimize time efficiency to ensure a smoother learning process without disrupting the predetermined duration.
