Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy on the financial performance of MSMEs in Palopo City. The data used in this study is primary data of 99 MSMEs in the Pancasila Field, Palopo City. The sampling technique used is a technique based on convenience. The method used to analyze the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables is the simple linear regression method. The results of the analysis with SmartPLS show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in Palopo City. This shows that the importance of a business to have knowledge of finance is related to how recording techniques, bookkeeping, the level of business debt and the budget needed in running a business.

Abstract

Performance analysis of Off Grid PLTS performance which is arranged in parallel series for room lighting. This research begins with the design of PLTS connected in parallel and series-parallel (mixed). This research is divided into two results, namely the preparation of solar panels whose batteries are in full condition and in empty battery condition. This study used 4 solar panels, batteries, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and loads in the form of lamps. Data collection was carried out for 8 hours, from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB, measurements were carried out every 30 minutes. In this study the power generated from the parallel arrangement is 32.68 Watt, while in the series-parallel arrangement the value is 33.06 Watt. The ideal combination of solar panel arrangements can be arranged in series-parallel (mixed), a larger voltage in the arrangement of solar panels aims to reduce the voltage drop and power losses, if using a parallel arrangement, you must use a cable with a large size because the parallel arrangement has a value large current, therefore the power distribution is lower, the power is lost along the line.

Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of sustainable leadership and spirit at work on employee commitment to the company. The private companies used are in Indonesian e-commerce, health, manufacturing, and education sectors. The employees intended work as an internal accountant. Furthermore, this study utilizes the convenience sampling technique to sample them, and can acquire 152 people based on the survey between May and June 2024. Therefore, their response is analyzed using a structural equation model based on partial least squares. After testing these two relationships, this study declares a positive association between sustainable leadership and employee commitment. Additionally, the spirit at work is positively related to employee commitment to the company. Based on this evidence, leaders can apply a sustainable leadership style and build a working atmosphere that leads to spirit at work and motivates employees to commit to their work.

Abstract

Twenty one century education requires educators to have innovative and creative skills in developing teaching materials to support the achievement of learning objectives. One of the teaching materials that can be developed is a booklet. Booklets include printed teaching materials that have the advantage of not requiring an internet connection in accessing them, presenting colorful content, attractive images or illustrations. Booklet development can contain plant diversity material based on local potential, like Moraceae family. Moraceae plants are often encountered by students in their daily lives. Booklet development involves product feasibility testing, one of which is validity. This study aims to describe the validity of the developed booklet. This development research (R&D) uses the Plomp model which consists of 5 stages. The booklet validity test results obtained a score of 91.40% (very valid). The test results show that the developed booklet is ready to be implemented as an enrichment material for the concept of biodiversity because it has fulfilled 12 aspects of the validity of teaching materials and has been revised so that it has good quality. The material in the booklet is designed to adjust the competence of students, the demands of the curriculum, and based on scientific principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peningkatan kemampuan berhitung anak melalui penggunaan Kantong Stik Berhitung di TK Nur Alam Tarobok, Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini dapat dicapai melalui media Kantong Stik di TK Nur Alam Tarobok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas B2 TK Nur Alam Tarobok tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kategori perkembangan anak didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Kantong Stik Berhitung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak di TK Nur Alam Tarobok. Berdasarkan persentase peningkatan kemampuan berhitung, hasil dari pra-siklus sebesar 30,01%, siklus I sebesar 43,99%, dan siklus II sebesar 76,54%. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media Kantong Stik terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak didik dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang bermanfaat.

Abstract

Pelatihan menulis dan berbicara memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ekspresi diri siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di masyarakat Cibahbul untuk mengevaluasi dampak program pelatihan terhadap pengembangan keterampilan menulis dan berbicara siswa. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi sesi menulis kreatif, simulasi berbicara di depan umum, serta evaluasi formatif dan sumatif. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis dan berbicara siswa, disertai dengan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan interaksi sosial. Dari temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ekspresi diri siswa. Saran diberikan untuk mengembangkan program lanjutan yang lebih kompleks, melibatkan komunitas secara lebih aktif, memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran, memberikan pelatihan kepada guru untuk metode pengajaran yang lebih interaktif, dan melaksanakan evaluasi berkelanjutan guna menjaga dan meningkatkan hasil yang telah dicapai.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of negative binomial regression as a solution to overcome the problem of overdispersion in the analysis of determinants of unemployment on the island of Sulawesi in 2023. Unemployment is not only viewed as a statistical phenomenon or economic issue, but also as an important indicator that reflects social welfare and the success of development in a region. Sulawesi Island, with its growth in the agricultural and industrial sectors, faces serious challenges in reducing unemployment rates, which have the potential to cause regional disparities if not addressed appropriately. This study aims to develop an appropriate negative binomial regression model to overcome overdispersion and identify the main factors that influence the unemployment rate. The method used is negative binomial regression analysis of district/city unemployment data in Sulawesi Island, which is discrete and shows symptoms of overdispersion. With significant variables including population size, Human Development Index (HDI), and the number of job placement or fulfillment services. These three factors have been proven to have a significant effect on the number of unemployed people in Sulawesi Island in 2023.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the teacher as an agent of change in building social and environmental awareness among students in elementary schools. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research location is SDN 3 Guradog, Lebak Regency, Banten. The research was conducted for approximately two months, including one month for data collection and one month for data processing. The population and sample of this study are the class teacher and fourth-grade students of SDN 3 Guradog. Data collection techniques included observation, which was conducted to directly observe the teacher's role as an agent of change in building social and environmental awareness among students , and interviews, which were conducted to determine the teacher's role in applying and building social awareness through the implementation of Social Studies (IPS) learning. The discussion results indicate that teachers have a very important role as agents of social change in society. The teacher is a central figure in the world of education, having a significant influence in transferring knowledge, values, and relevant skills. School is a place to build students' social awareness of the surrounding environment , and social awareness is the ability to read and understand the social circumstances around them. The conclusion of this observation is to find out the changes that exist within the scope of the teacher in conducting IPS learning, with the teacher acting as an agent of change. Abstract

In education, reading ability is a very important basic skill. However, not all students are able to master reading skills well, especially students who have dyslexia. Based on initial observations at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya, it was found that several students had difficulty recognizing letters, arranging letters into words, and reading fluently, thus hampering the learning process. Therefore, learning media is needed that suits the characteristics of dyslexic students, one of which is through the use of Canva-based audio-visual media. This research aims to determine the characteristics of dyslexic students, describe the application of Canva audio-visual media, and analyze the effect of its use on improving the reading ability of dyslexic students at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a One Group Pretest–Posttest design. The research subjects were five dyslexic students who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through reading and observation tests, while data analysis used normality tests and hypothesis testing in the form of paired sample t-test. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in students' reading abilities after being given treatment using Canva audio-visual media. The average pretest score of 38 increased to 52 on the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.033 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Canva-based audio-visual media has a significant effect on improving the reading ability of dyslexic students at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya.
