Abstract

Technology aids humans in performing activities such as accessing information in all fields, particularly in education. One implementation adopted by educational institutions is the student information system. As an educational institution, SMK Yadika 13 Tambun runs a scholarship program. The school's selection process is still manual, conducted through document requirements. Consequently, the selection process takes a long time due to the high number of applicants. Only those meeting the criteria receive scholarships. The large number of applicants and the limited scholarship quota make it challenging for the school to manually screen documents. The research objective is to determine prospective scholarship recipients at SMK Yadika 13 Tambun and implement the Simple Additive Weighting method in a decision support system that can provide alternatives in determining scholarship recipients. The Simple Additive Weighting algorithm can be applied in determining scholarship recipients. This algorithm can serve as an exemplary calculation method as it can identify alternatives for each attribute. Subsequently, a ranking system is devised to select the best alternatives. The system developed can assist SMK Yadika 13 Tambun Bekasi in determining scholarship recipients more efficiently and systematically, thereby reducing errors in the selection process.

Abstract

Introduction to regional songs is part of the arts and culture subject in the Elementary School curriculum. Currently, students learn regional songs through books that only provide the lyrics, and there are limitations in the song variations. The singing learning process is conducted by teachers. Teachers routinely teach the same regional songs every year, resulting in many other regional songs never being taught. The challenge arises when teachers have to determine which regional songs should be prioritized in learning, due to a lack of information about known and familiar regional songs among students. The research aims to support decisions on prioritizing regional songs in the teaching and learning process based on their popularity among different student groups. With a web-based system, it becomes easier to determine and categorize the popularity levels of regional songs among elementary school students, specifically at SDN Margahayu XIII in this case. The algorithm used to process and categorize these regional songs is K-Means, which is a non-hierarchical data clustering method aiming to partition data into two or more groups. The research results in a decision support system providing clustering results based on values or criteria that closely align with the popularity levels. The final outcome is a decision support system that can be used to determine which regional songs should be prioritized for learning in the teaching process based on their popularity levels.

Abstract

Thomas Cell is a business outlet that provides cellphone service, and sells cellphone accessories. The purpose of research conducted by researchers at Thomas Cell is to design an information system to process service data and check accessories according to consumer budgets. The old system adapts to various types of changes in its environment, to the point where the system can no longer adapt to the problems in its environment. Then a new system was created to replace it. The technique used to design this application is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) technique, this technique suggests an approach to structuredsoftware development, starting from the stages and progress of the system for all analysis, design, code, testing, and maintenance. In designing software and compiling reports on this system, it is designed on a website basis. This information system can reduce errors that occur in managing service data, later checking service data can be carried out quickly, easily, effectively, efficiently, and the data obtained can be more accurate and it can also be easier to have conversations about data, so there is no need to meet each other.
