Abstract

Information services in meeting the needs of the community in the Alahan Nan Tigo village, especially information needs, have been implemented according to the principles, mechanisms and forms of information services that should be provided. The government of Alahan Nan Tigo village has implemented SOPs and principles of information services to balance current developments in information technology and take into account the conditions and knowledge of the people of the village. This is proven by the mechanisms and forms of service carried out openly, whether through communication technology media such as social media. , online media or directly with the respective heads of jorong who are responsible for this.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the West Sumatra Regional Police (Polda Sumbar) Communication Strategy in Supporting Service Activities and to find obstacles in service faced by the Polda Sumbar. This study used qualitative research methods. In the era of increasingly rapid development of digitalization, the communication strategy applied in services has become the main factor in the implementation of services, good service is guaranteed by appropriate communication and digital developments make it easier for people to assess the quality of a service just through communication so that a good opinion is formed. Regarding this matter, the Polda Sumbar must implement objective, trustworthy communication and be participatory. Implementing appropriate communication strategies supports service activities at the Polda Sumbar .

Abstract

Recruitment of National Police Members is a routine activity carried out by the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) every year, this activity aims to obtain quality and highly integrated Human Resources (HR), in order to strengthen and improve the performance of the National Police in order to protect and maintain security. and public order (Harkamtibmas). The National Police has a tough task ahead, therefore young people are needed as the nation's successors to serve as state servants to answer all the challenges currently faced by the National Police. Currently, the needs of National Police Members according to the List of Personnel Composition (DSP) are far inversely proportional to the actual number of National Police Members in the field. Because it refers to existing conditions and situations, it is necessary to change the system, number and competency in recruiting Polri members whose presence is really needed by the community. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the quantity and quality of Polri members who can carry out their main duties as state servants optimally by fulfilling the Ideal Polri Member. The success of the National Police both in performance and as Harkamtibmas cannot be separated from the duties of a publicist in documenting every activity carried out by members of the National Police and publishing media so that it can be seen and felt directly by the public, even Public Relations as the front guard of the National Police in providing information services to the public both in terms of directly or through the media, such as in the recruitment of new members of the National Police, brilliant strategies are needed from a Public Relations person to provide information to the wider community, so that it is easier for the public to get the information they need.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Solok City Police website as a public information service. This research uses qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis used are data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. The website is evaluated based on four public relations parameters, namely strategic counsel, media relations, community relations, and government relations. The results showed that the Solok City Police website has not been effective in supporting public information service functions including information related to police programs and services, internal regulations and policies, and no routine criminal statistics data. Interactive website features also do not function so that the implementation of community relations is not effective in involving public participation. Content related to advocating Police needs to the government and the Regional House of Representatives is still lacking. The Solok City Police website needs to increase its capacity to be more optimal in its implementation and only fulfills a small portion of its capacity and function as an effective public information media. Improvements and updates to the website are needed in terms of content and interface display so that they are always relevant to support the implementation of Police tasks and public information needs.

Abstract

Providing clear and accurate information is an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of the information service system in the Village Head's Office. Public Relations as one of the work units in the Village Head's Office has an important role in providing information to the community. This research aims to examine the role of public relations in improving the effectiveness of the information service system in the Office of the Head of Pauh Timur Village, Central Pariaman District, Pariaman City. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type. Research data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that public relations has an important role in increasing the effectiveness of the information service system in the office of the head of Pauh Timur village, Central Pariaman District, Pariaman City.

Abstract

Dalam kegiatan pelayanan publik tidak akan terlepas dengan namanya komunikasi antara lembaga dengan publik. Kegiatan pelayanan publik pada hubungan masyarakat ini tidak hanya dilakukan karena kepentingan lembaga, tetapi juga pada masyarakat umum. Maka dari itu pentingnya mengetauhi fungsi dan peran dari humas dikepolisian itu sendiri sehingga dapan mengembangkan atau meningkatkan pelayanan humas. Disamping itu humas juga harus memiliki strategi agar peran pelayanan humas dikepolisian dapat berjalan dengan baik. Dari itu kepolisian menerapkan 4 strategi diantaranya; 1. Pendekatan Kemasyarakatan, ini menjadi penting guna membangun kepercayan dan juga terbukaan antara masyarakat dan juga kepolisian. 2. Pendekatan koordinatif dan integratif, dengan diterapkannya komunikasi terhadap banyak pihak sehingga menjadikan semakin banyaknya ide-ide, gagasan-gagasan dan pemikiran-pemikiran. 3. Pendekatan edukatif dan persuasif, humas yang harus andil dalam menerima dan berikan pandangan terhadap masyarakat. 4. Penyelenggaraan sistem penerangan terpadu, Melalui pemanfaatan media sosial, kegiatan kehumasan juga bisa merespon berbagai pendapat dan kritik masyarakat mengenai informasi publik mengenai hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kepolisian. Hal itu dilakukan untuk menciptakan kepercayaan dan transparansi perkembangan informasi di masyarakat melalui humas kepolisian.

Abstract

Public services by government agencies are currently receiving tremendous attention. One form of public service is the delivery of public information. In accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure, every public agency must provide, submit and publish public information under its authority. In addition to conveying public information, government agencies are also required to listen to the aspirations of their public. To help organizations play both roles, government agencies need a public relations function. At Polda West Sumatera, the function assigned in this regard is Bidhumas Polda West Sumatera. The purpose of this study is to identify how the implementation of information dissemination activities, documentation information management and communication facilitators are implemented by Bidhumas Polda Sumbar. This research uses the constructivism paradigm, and a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis conducted at Bidhumas Polda Sumbar. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of information dissemination, documentation information management and communication facilitators at Bidhumas Polda Sumbar has been running well

Abstract

Social media is the term for the use of online technology to share opinions, discuss and communicate through online technology. One of the most popular social networks today is Instagram. Instagram management is a management strategy aimed at achieving predetermined goals, objectives and functions. The aim of the research is to find out how to consider choosing Instagram as a publication medium for Diskominfo Jambi, to find out how the Instagram Public Relations of Diskominfo Jambi is managed to meet the information needs of the community and to find out where the obstacles are and how to overcome the obstacles that exist in the process of managing Instagram Diskominfo Jambi. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type. The concept used in this research is the circular model SoMe for social communication which includes sharing, optimization, management, involvement to create efficient management and no waste of energy. The search results at the Instagram sharing stage were chosen because of its popularity and the millennial generation is considered to gather a lot on the Instagram social network. Optimization is carried out by maximizing the use of Instagram features even though they still seem minimal so that captions and hashtags are less than optimal. At the management stage, it seems there is no public relations supervision to monitor Instagram's growth, making Instagram @diskominfojambi look monotonous and less interactive. And at the Engage stage, this can only be achieved through collaboration with influencers and no research has been carried out on the audience, especially @diskominfojambi followers.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal public relations strategies in providing public information services in the Government Management Study of State Administration Institutions (Puslatbang KMP LAN). According to research conducted by (Sri Kartika), Data were acquired through the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation studies, followed by analysis utilizing techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that in the following aspects: 1) problem definition - issues managed by public relations in the media are not fully understood by stakeholders, resulting in incomplete information transmission; 2) planning and programming - public relations collaborates with teacher facilitators to introduce and interconnect various social media platforms; 3) action and communication - public relations engages in two-way communication with stakeholders, employing both electronic and non-electronic media to include the public in news channels. Various public media are utilized to disseminate issues, ensuring stakeholders are aware of all channels and can access comprehensive and up-to-date information.

Abstract

Providing a good service to the community is one of the duties of government. This is regulated by law. The government is obliged to provide information and services to the community in a systematic way. Especially in the current era of digitalisation, people want services that are mobile because it makes it easier for people to exercise their rights and fulfil their obligations. Indeed, digital services are part of the innovation in providing better services to the community. Digital services that are mobile in nature provide convenience, are faster and more efficient. Because the public information service system in conventional form is notoriously slow, takes longer, makes a person expend more energy. Perumda, a government agency that provides clean water, is trying to meet the needs of the public information system by introducing the Kaba Aia application.
