Abstract

This Hydroponic Plant Monitoring System was created using Nodemcu ESP8226, which supports internet access. So that the monitoring process can be done through an android application. Plant data is obtained through the DHT11 sensor and Water Sensor, which is then processed using the Fuzzy method to determine the time to water the plants and add water to the hydroponic plant storage tank. From the results of sensor readings, the system can determine the time to water the plants according to weather conditions and send warnings when the water in the storage tank is less than the predetermined condition.

Abstract

Bullying is an act that is currently the biggest challenge in Indonesia, especially in schools and Islamic boarding schools. In schools, bullying is usually increasingly rampant because the school does not respond or even ignores violent behavior by its students. Apart from that, giving inappropriate sanctions also causes students who bully to feel safe in carrying out their actions continuously. To be able to provide appropriate sanctions have a deterrent effect, a decision support system is needed that can make it easier for schools to provide sanctions to perpetrators of bullying. By applying the SMART Method, each criterion has a weight that shows how important that criterion is compared to the others. As a result, the system shows that the alternative with alternative code A3 is recommended to receive sanctions in the form of Drop Out because it has a score of 0.800

Abstract

Inti Poto Medan merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang fotigrafi dan berlokasi di Medan. Telah berjalan dari tahun 2010 hingga saat ini, namun kurangnya informasi perusahaan yang tersebar pada masyarakat, khususnya untuk calon customer dan mitra menjadi sebuah hambatan untuk memberikan informasi yang cepat. Dari kendala yang dirasakan, maka dibuatlah sebuah website company profile dengan menggunakan bootstrap. Tujuan dari pembuatan website company profile ini adalah sebagai media informasi bagi calon customer dan mitra, selain itu website company profile ini juga digunakan sebagai media komunikasi antara perusahaan dengan target pasarnya. Tahap perancangan dimulai dengan menganalisis kebutuhan bersama pihak perusahaan. Hasil uji coba serta wawancara terhadap pihak perusahaan mengenai perancangan website company profile sudah dinilai sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Informasi yang dicantumkan di dalam website dapat membantu perusahaan sebagai media penyebaran informasi, dan media komunikasi dengan pelanggan. Namun, ada beberapa masukan yang harus dilakukan ketika pembuatan website company profile. Pihak perusahaan juga perlu untuk melakukan pengelolaan secara optimal agar fungsi website sebagai media informasi dan komunikasi tetap berjalan.

Abstract

School security is a crucial aspect in creating a safe and conducive learning environment. One significant threat to school security is natural disasters, which can occur suddenly and jeopardise the safety of students and staff. This service activity aims to develop and implement an Arduino-based disaster early detection system at SMK Swasta Pulau Berayan Darat Medan. The system is designed to provide real-time warnings of potential disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods through the integration of various sensors linked to alarms and notifications. The main contribution of this activity is the availability of disaster detection devices that are cheap, adaptive, and easy to operate by the school. The implementation of the system succeeded in increasing the alertness of the school community, as shown by an 85% increase in understanding of evacuation procedures based on the results of questionnaires before and after the training. In addition, 95% of respondents stated that the system provides a sense of security. These results show that the Arduino-based disaster early detection system has the potential to become a security model that can be implemented in other schools to support the creation of a safer and more disaster-responsive educational environment.

Abstract

The use of Dart language in making android applications is a relatively easy programming language and in the world of work, the dart language has been commonly used so learning Darts from an early age is very beneficial for students. The problem faced by students at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan is how to make it easier for many students who are interested in entering college to master programming so that they graduate well. Studying computer science isn't just about learning technology, it's about learning logic, problem-solving, and creativity. Therefore, the solution to this research problem is to provide training on the Introduction and Training of Dart Programming Language which is easily understood by students in SMK for simple problems. Programming training in the form of interesting interactive introductions and hands-on exercises. From the results of the training, the trainees, students of SMK Tritech Informatika Medan, felt that this activity was very interesting and useful, as well as being able to improve understanding and skills in programming, IT, and its applications.

Abstract

UI/UX design is a design from the pre-product stage before being implemented into a desired product. In this pre-production phase, the UI/UX design is often not implemented by the developers of software tools and applications, so it sometimes creates objections to users about product implementation that are not given much attention. One of the professional needs to support the learning process for students is to attend training. The knowledge and skills of students especially RPL majoring in UI and UX design are still relatively low, so they need to be provided with UI/UX training in the form of mobile applications. In this community service, a training on UI/UX design in making android applications is carried out for students of SMK Tritech Informatika, especially software engineering majors, as a basic preparation for students to be more interested in taking majors related to design and applications. The results of this community service are that the delivery of UI / UX material is well implemented and the examples that are practiced are in accordance with the daily needs of the community so that they can produce applications that can compete in the business and industrial world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan untuk pemilihan destinasi wisata terbaik di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan menggunakan metode TOPSIS, dengan tujuan memberikan rekomendasi yang objektif, terukur, dan relevan bagi wisatawan maupun pihak pengelola pariwisata setempat. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), yang mampu memberikan bobot pada setiap kriteria penilaian meliputi identifikasi destinasi wisata sebagai alternatif, penentuan kriteria seperti Keindahan, Jumlah Pengunjung, Kebersihan, Keamanan, Harga Tiket, dan Jarak Tempuh, serta bobot kepentingannya, pengolahan data dengan metode TOPSIS (menentukan kriteria, normalisasi, hingga perangkingan alternatif), implementasi sistem berbasis komputer (berbasis web) yang mengimplementasikan algoritma TOPSIS, serta analisis hasil dan pembahasan. TOPSIS dipilih karena memberikan hasil perankingan yang objektif yang didukung oleh data terukur, sistem ini menunjukkan penentuan hasil yang lebih cepat dan akurat setelah diimplementasikan dalam menentukan pemilihan destinasi tempat wisata di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Menggunakan. Selain itu hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Sistem ini yang berbasis web berhasil membantu dan meningkatkan efisiensi Pemilihan Destinasi Wisata Terbaik di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Sistem ini menggunakan metode TOPSIS yang memproses data sesuai kriteria yang telah ditetapkan yang disebutkan sebelumnya. Dari perhitungan, alternatif A03 yaitu Sipinsur, memiliki nilai preferensi tertinggi (0.746), menjadikannya destinasi wisata terbaik pilihan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify mental health profile segmentation among employees based on work productivity indicators in the context of working from home (WFH) using the K-Means clustering algorithm. This study uniquely integrates mental health and productivity indicators into an unsupervised clustering framework. A cross-sectional method was conducted on 100 employee respondents with 10 main variables, analysed using K-Means with four optimal cluster evaluation methods. The results identified four distinct segments: Low WFH Adaptation (25%), High WFH Enthusiasts (30%), Mixed Preference (25%), and Office Preference (20%), with Silhouette Score validation of 0.623 and Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.967. The main findings reveal the paradox of High WFH Enthusiasts, who have the highest productivity (93%) but the highest mental health risk (1.90). This segmentation provides a practical framework for developing personalised mental health intervention strategies in employee management in the remote working era.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food source for the Indonesian nation. Quality rice is produced from superior rice seeds which have a high yield quantity. At present the agricultural sector is growing with many rice varieties emerging. Superior rice seeds are very important for farmers because rice seeds are the main factor that determine the success of rice cultivation. The existence of many choices makes farmers more careful in choosing the type of rice varieties that suit the soil structure and climatic conditions of the local agricultural environment. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to determine the important criteria for rice varieties and to obtain alternatives that are in accordance with the environmental conditions of agricultural land. The alternatives used are the types of rice seeds in Indonesia, namely Inpari45, Baroma, Jeliteng, Pamelan, and Pamera. This Decision Support System was created to provide information and assist farmers in making decisions regarding the selection of rice seeds to be planted with the criteria of Upright Rice Height, Planting Age, Productive Saplings, and Yield Potential. By applying the AHP method to this Decision Support System, it is found that the best alternative has the highest value of 0.247.
