Abstract

Digital literacy becomes important in the era of information and communication technology that continues to develop. MIN 5 Padang City students need to be equipped with digital literacy knowledge and skills in order to be able to face challenges and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital world. The aim of this community service is to describe the implementation of digital skills socialization among MIN 5 Padang City students. The method used are interviews and observations of students at MIN 5 Padang city and a participatory approach involving teachers and students. In socializing digital literacy, teachers act as facilitators, providing knowledge and skills to students. They use an interactive approach and combine theoretical content with real-world case studies. Digital literacy socialization at MIN 5 Padang City helps students understand the importance of maintaining privacy and security on the internet, identifying valid and quality information, and developing creativity and collaboration through digital media. Through this socialization, MIN 5 Padang City students are expected to become intelligent, critical and responsible digital users. In short, digital literacy socialization in MIN 5 Padang city is an important step for students to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to actively participate in digital society. Through these efforts, we hope to empower students to use technology wisely and responsibly, and prepare them to face the challenges and opportunities of the ever-evolving digital era.

Abstract

Abstarct : In the increasingly developing digital era, internet use has become an inseparable part of everyday life. However, with the convenience offered by technology, there are also various cyber security risks that can endanger children and the elderly. To address this problem, the "Cyber Security Training for Children and Parents" project aims to provide a better understanding of online threats and steps that can be taken to protect oneself and one's family in cyberspace. The project will present a series of trainings covering important topics such as safe use of social media, password control and privacy protection. Participants will be taught by facilitators who are experts in the field of cyber security, and they will be given a guide that can be used as a reference to ensure security in their online activities. The training will involve children aged 10-18 years as well as their parents, with the hope that the knowledge gained will provide better protection for the entire community. This project requires financial support to finance facilitators, training materials and promotional activities. With financial assistance and contributions from various parties, we hope to increase awareness about cyber security and provide the skills needed to face challenges in cyberspace. Keywords: internet of things (IoT);  internet technology  Abstrak : Di era digital yang semakin berkembang, penggunaan internet telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, dengan kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi, muncul pula berbagai risiko keamanan cyber yang dapat membahayakan anak-anak dan orang tua. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, proyek "Pelatihan Keamanan Cyber untuk Anak-anak dan Orang Tua" bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang ancaman online dan langkah-langkah yang dapat diambil untuk melindungi diri dan keluarga di dunia maya. Proyek ini akan menyajikan serangkaian pelatihan yang mencakup topik-topik penting seperti penggunaan yang aman di media sosial, pengendalian kata sandi, dan perlindungan privasi. Para peserta akan diajarkan oleh para fasilitator yang ahli di bidang keamanan cyber, dan mereka akan diberikan panduan yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk memastikan keamanan dalam aktivitas online mereka. Pelatihan akan melibatkan anak-anak usia 10-18 tahun serta orang tua mereka, dengan harapan bahwa pengetahuan yang diperoleh akan memberikan perlindungan yang lebih baik bagi seluruh komunitas. Proyek ini memerlukan dukungan dana untuk membiayai fasilitator, materi pelatihan, dan promosi kegiatan. Abstract

The development of tourist destinations in North Sumatra Province holds significant potential but is hindered by challenges such as limited infrastructure and the absence of data-driven planning. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that integrates the TOPSIS and Borda methods to more effectively determine tourism development priorities. The TOPSIS method is employed to evaluate destination alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal solution, while the Borda method enhances the decision-making process through a ranking system that reflects stakeholder preferences. The results identify Kampung Ulos Huta Raja, Paropo Silalahi, and Desa Bakkara as the top destinations recommended for priority development. The integration of TOPSIS and Borda produces decisions that are more objective, consistent, and based on measurable criteria. This approach provides an innovative solution for tourism management, supports digital transformation, and enables governments and stakeholders to make more strategic and effective decisions.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti madrasah kerap menghadapi keterlambatan dan kesalahan data dalam pengolahan nilai serta penyusunan laporan karena proses administrasi masih dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengotomatisasi rekap nilai dan pembuatan laporan akademik dengan menerapkan kecerdasan buatan (AI) guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi manajemen pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis kebutuhan di satu madrasah aliyah, perancangan sistem berbasis AI, serta implementasi modul machine-learning untuk analisis nilai, uji coba ini dilakukan di satu madrasah aliyah (MA) dengan 150 catatan nilai siswa yang dikumpulkan pada periode Juli–Desember 2024 dan 20 tenaga pengajar dan tenaga pendidik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan waktu rekap nilai rata-rata berkurang dari sekitar 2–3 hari menjadi hanya 8–10 menit (≈97 % pengurangan), pembuatan laporan akademik 3–5 hari menjadi 1–2 jam, dan tingkat kesalahan input menurun lebih dari 90 %. Sebanyak 85 % tenaga pengajar dan tenaga administrasi menyatakan sistem sangat membantu pekerjaan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi AI secara nyata meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi administrasi pendidikan Islam sekaligus memberikan kontribusi penting bagi agenda digitalisasi madrasah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi nyata dalam digitalisasi pendidikan Islam melalui pemanfaatan teknologi AI. Meskipun prototipe didemonstrasikan di satu institusi, arsitektur modularnya menggambarkan adaptasi baru AI dalam administrasi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Smartphones are important devices for many people and are considered a necessity in today's industrial age 4.0. This is the beginning of the advancement of digital technology and the internet, where information can be easily accessed in various places. Therefore, people started buying smartphones. With this, people can utilise the Decision Support System. used to determine the data criteria needed to select a smartphone. With these criteria, users can accurately and quickly determine their choice. Where in the research in choosing a smartphone according to the needs of the community using 9 criteria that are often taken into consideration including Brand, Price, Processor Specifications, RAM Specifications, Model, Battery Capacity, Camera Resolution, Internal Capacity, Screen size which will be processed using the SMART method. Where the weight for each criterion has a value range of 0-100 depending on the priority given to each criterion. Based on calculations using the SMART method, the Iphone 11 Pro smartphone ranks highest with a final score of 8.3.
