Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 23 April 2018 s/d 07 Mei 2018. Pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri 2 (dua) siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Pada siklus I dilaksanakan tiga kali pertemuan dan siklus II dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan. Adapun prosedur dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) tahap perencanaan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, 3) tahap pengamatan, 4) tahap refleksi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah guru sebagai peneliti dan siswa kelas IVc SDN 10 Poasia. Teknik analisis data dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah statistic deskriptif. Hasil observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi pada setiap tindakan perbaikan pembelajaran bahwa pada tindakan siklus I, proses aktivitas mengajar guru melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang dilaksanakan oleh peneliti mencapai 66,00% dan pada tindakan siklus II meningkat mencapai 70,00%. Begitupun pada proses aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh siswa pada tindakan siklus I mencapai 67,00% dan pada tindakan siklus II mengalami peningkatan mencapai 77,00%. Dari segi hasil yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, yaitu: 1) Ada penurunan siswa yang dapat menunjukkan kemampuan pemahaman masalah pada siklus I hanya 2 (8,33%) siswa dan pada siklus II menurun menjadi 6 (25%), 2) Ada penurunan siswa yang dapat menunjukkan kemampuan perencanaan penyelesaian pada siklus I hanya 4 (16,66%) siswa dan pada siklus II menurun menjadi 8 (33,33%) siswa, 3) Ada peningkatan siswa yang dapat menunjukkan kemampuan melaksanakan perencanaan pada siklus I tidak ada siswa yang mencapai indikator dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 9 (37,5%) siswa, 4) Ada peningkatan siswa yang dapat menunjukkan kemampuan pemeriksaan kembali proses dan hasil pada siklus I tidak ada siswa yang mencapai indikator dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 9 (37,5%) siswa.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah; Model Pembelajaran PBL

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada Materi aplikasi turunan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE, (2) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada Materi aplikasi turunan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, dan (3) pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi aplikasi turunan fungsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling, sehingga diambil dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Adapun teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisisnya menggunakan statistika deskriptif maupun inferensial. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi aplikasi turunan fungsi kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran CORE termasuk kriteria baik, (2) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi aplikasi turunan fungsi  kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran langsung termasuk kriteria kurang, dan (3) model pembelajaran CORE berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi aplikasi turunan fungsi kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran CORE, hasil belajar, HOTS Abstract: This study aimed to determine (1) student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material using the CORE learning model, (2) student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material using direct learning models, and (3) the effect of CORE learning model towards student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material. This study used a quasi-experimental method with the population of all students in eleventh grade of MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, so that two classes were taken as the experimental class and the control class. The techniques used for data collection were documentation and tests. The analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study show that (1) student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material of eleventh grade MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin in the academic year 2017/2018 by applying the CORE learning model including good criteria, (2) student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material from eleventh grade MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin academic year 2017/2018 by applying the direct learning model including deficient criteria, and (3) the CORE learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in solving HOTS questions on the derivative function application material from eleventh grade MIPA SMAN 5 Banjarmasin academic year 2017/2018. Keywords: CORE learning model, learning outcomes, HOTS

Abstract

Assessing validity is an essential process in designing a module. This research is a part of on-going research in developing an English learning module for students in Information system department integrated with poster presentation and Vlog techniques. This present study aims at evaluating the validity of the module. Five validators are used to assess the same module. The value of the validation is calculated by using V Aiken (1985). The results shows that the experts’ validation in the module has an average score of validation of 0.889 in the Content component, a score of 0.893 in the Language Understanding component, a score of 0.900 in the Presentation component and a score of 0.833 in the Writing Mechanics component, thus all components are is considered to have a high average validation score from the validation standard score of 0.677 thus the English learning module developed has been valid and can be used with few revision.

Abstract

AbstractThe consequences that can be generated from conventional learning methods are lectures are too dominant, as if the teacher is the only resource person who is versatile, student learning outcomes in mathematics are very low, and the average score is very low. The mathematics score of 4th grade is only 55 while the Minimum Completeness Criteria is 65. With those problems, teachers need to try to increase the learning motivation, so the students learning scores can increase above the predetermined MCC score. One of the efforts that teachers can do is to try to apply the learning strategies by applying interactive learning models. This research uses 2 rounds of classroom action research, and each round consists of four phases, namely; planning, acting and observing, reflecting, and considering. The subjects of this research were 4th grade students of SD Negeri Sukasari 2 and the data used were the daily test scores. The average score of the pre-cycle was 55.48, the first cycle was 69.68, and the second cycle was 87.10.Keywords: Student Learning Outcomes; Realistic Mathematics Education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze multimedia learning tools' impact on improving grade VI students' English language skills at SDN 02 Lubuk Buaya, Padang City. In today's digital era, technology in education is increasingly important, especially in improving language skills. The method used is a quantitative experiment with a pre-test and post-test approach. The sample consisted of 52 students and was divided into two groups: an experimental group using multimedia applications and a control group using conventional methods. The results showed that multimedia significantly improved students' English skills, especially vocabulary comprehension and speaking skills. Data analysis revealed a significant difference between the control and experimental groups, which showed better progress. These findings confirm the benefits of integrating multimedia technology in language teaching, which can help students be more engaged and motivated in learning English. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of multimedia use in improving students' English learning outcomes. Multimedia tools based on mobile applications and e-learning platforms are becoming more widespread to improve students' English skills. Therefore, it is important for schools and educators further to integrate multimedia technology into the English language learning curriculum. In addition, training for teachers in the use of multimedia tools is also needed to ensure that the technology is used effectively. Thus, students' English learning outcomes can be significantly improved by applying this method.

Abstract

This study investigates the psychological mechanisms underlying aggressive behavior among Free Fire gamers in the context of Kerinci Malay culture. By employing in-depth interviews, this research explores the interplay between cultural values, game-related experiences, and individual psychological factors. A case report of an individual (HA) exhibiting Free Fire addiction and a propensity for aggression was conducted. Thematic analysis was employed to analyze the data. Findings indicate that a confluence of factors, including cultural concepts of honor and esteem, customs and traditions, social context contribute to aggressive tendencies. These results highlight the need for a comprehensive understanding of cultural and psychological determinants of online aggression to develop effective prevention and intervention strategies.

Abstract

This research seeks to illustrate the learning behaviors of students as they compose English descriptive texts regarding local tourist attractions by utilizing the Silent Card Shuffle Strategy. The students’ skill in writing English descriptive text in English is important for Management students in designing the English tourism object brochure. Unfortunately, most of them have low motivation; inactive in English learning process. Therefore, Silent Card Shuffle Strategy is chosen by the lecturer to motivate and change the students’ learning behavior in writing English descriptive texts. The method used this research was descriptive qualitative research. The subject was 42 students on the Class 10th on semester 3 from Management Class of UPI YPTK Padang. The instruments used were observation, questionnaire, and interview. In analyzing the data, the researcher was grouped the data based on the indicator. Then, the researcher did interpreting to get the result. The researcher found that there was changing of the students’ learning behavior in writing English descriptive text because of implementation of Silent Card Shuffle Strategy. It was affected to the three aspects of the students’ behaviors; cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The researcher found this Strategy could improve students’ motivation, knowledge. They were active involved in the class discussion, focused in learning writing, active to ask questions between students in group or class discussion. Then the researcher looked the student were fun, confidence, and enthusiast and had responsibility to complete the assignment in writing descriptive text.

Abstract

Generally, elementary school students tend to like learning activities with different actions and movements and like the use of visual media. Another problem that is often found in elementary school students is having a very short attention span (short attention span), so they are usually easily bored with learning activities after 7-10 minutes. The tendency of using conventional and monotonous methods given by the school to children, apparently still does not motivate students to study English regularly. Therefore, it is necessary to have innovative and creative actions to minimize the anxiety felt by the school, using total Physical Response, as well as knowing the talents and learning interests of elementary school students in the English language needs which can be applied in daily activities

Abstract

Digital preservation is crucial in safeguarding Indonesia's cultural heritage by ensuring historical documents, artifacts, and traditional knowledge remain accessible for future generations. However, digitalization efforts face significant challenges related to technical infrastructure, legal frameworks, and public engagement. This study aims to analyze the role of libraries in digital preservation, identifying key benefits, challenges, and potential strategies for sustainable implementation. Using a thematic analysis approach, data was collected through an extensive literature review of 500 academic articles filtered into 16 relevant studies. The results indicate that digitalization enhances accessibility and efficiency in preserving cultural materials but is hindered by financial constraints, insufficient technological resources, and unclear legal protections. Moreover, the lack of trained professionals in digital archiving further complicates the implementation process. The findings highlight the need for stronger government policies, improved funding, and collaborative efforts among libraries, policymakers, and cultural institutions. The study recommends integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain to strengthen digital preservation strategies and ensure long-term sustainability. Additionally, hybrid approaches that merge digital and physical experiences can enhance public engagement with cultural heritage. This research contributes to the growing discourse on digital heritage conservation by providing a comprehensive analysis of current challenges and opportunities, serving as a valuable reference for stakeholders involved in cultural preservation and digital library management.
