Abstract

Abstract This qualitative study described about grammatical error on students narrative writing. The participants were the second semester students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung in academic year 2013/ 2014. In collecting data,this study uses forms with general, emerging questions to permit the participant to generate responses. Then, gathering word (text) from the participants, and collecting information from individual of participants. Data analysis tends to consist of text analysis, to involve developing a description and themes, then interpretation tends to sonsist of stating the larger meaning of the findings. After analysing the students writing, it was found that most of mistakes made by students were: missing subject, missing be in simple predicate, wrong simple predicate missing be, superfluous be, misinformation of passive form, the verb comes after the subject, pronoun form, agreement, and reference. Key Word: Grammar,Grammatical Error, Writing Skill, Narrative Text

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research which intended to improve students’ writing ability through Storyboard. The participants were the fourth semester students of English Department of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu in academic year 2014/ 2015. The instruments used in collecting data were observation, questionnaire, and documents.  Observation is used to know what is really happening in the class and the condition when the class activity is taking place. Questionnaire is used to know the students’ perception towards Storyboard in improving their writing ability, and documents is used to get students’ written texts. Then, 1) assembling the data, 2) coding the data, 3) comparing the data, 4) building meanings and interpretations, and 5) reporting the outcomes, are the steps in analyzing the data. Having analyzed the data, it was found that there was improvement of the students’ activeness in writing activity and in writing ability.

Abstract

Ubi kayu, ubi jalar, dan jagung merupakan sumberdaya lokal Bengkulu yang potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai produk inovatif berupa beras instan sumber karbohidrat alternatif (Asriani, 2016). Beras instan ubi kayu, ubi jalar, dan jagung sebagai produk baru tidak selalu dapat langsung diterima oleh calon konsumennya, dalam pengembangannya perlu dikaji bagaimana bauran pemasaran beras instan untuk melihat pada posisi manakah beras instan pada saat ini. Dengan mengetahui posisi tersebut, akan memberikan kemudahan dalam penyusunan strategi pemasaran beras instan agar dapat diterima dengan baik oleh calon konsumennya. Analisis Bauran Pemasaran harus terus dilakukan, salah satunya adalah dengan didasarkan pada 4P (Product,Price, Promotion, Place) terhadap beras instan. Melalui hasil analisis Matrik Internal Eksternal (IE) secara deskriptif kualitatif Beras Instan berada pada sel I dengan total skor faktor internal sebesar 3,611549 dan faktor eksternal sebesar 3,110227 yang menggambarkan bahwa keadaan Beras Instan pada saat ini sedang tumbuh dan membangun (Grow end build), yaitu beras instan berada pada tahap pengembangan produk. Hal tersebut didukung dengan adanya kemudahan beras instan dalam pengolahannya menjadi nasi, praktis dan sehat serta terus dilakukannya pengenalan-pengenalan beras instan kepada calon konsumen.  Kata kunci: beras instan, sumber karbohidrat, bauran pemasaran, matrik IE

Abstract

This CAR intends to improve students’ writing ability. The data were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documents. Assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data, building meanings and interpretations, and  reporting the outcomes were the steps to analyze the data. The result showed that there was improvement on stdents’ writing ability, that was in cycle 1, the mean score was 63.28, and  70.97 in cycle 2.  The questionnaire data was also showed that 47% students strongly agreed and 33% of them agreed that Collaborative Writing Technique could encourage them to write and help them to improve their writing ability.

Abstract

Reresik sendhang tradition is one of social culture in Wonosoco village which is conserved until today. This tradition has a special uniqueness compared with the other place, it has seven steps of tradition ritual and Wayang Klitik exhibition played by a Dalang from one generation. Reresik sendhang is not only a tradition, but also related with the social life and a legend of Wonosoco village. Besides that, that traditions also has some purposes and functions which are contained in the terminology. The data collections in this research used an observation and talking with advanced technique, those are interview, inducement, record, and note. The data analysis methods in this research are distributional and padan methods. The results of this research are (1) the terminology contained in Reresik sendhang tradition organized by words and phrases. (2) the terminology in Reresik sendhang tradition has lexical and cultural meaning. (3) the terminology in Reresik sendhang tradition has some functions, those are as the homage to the ancerstors, as the gratitude, cultural conservation, depict share-work attitude, water conservation, and the entertainment medium. Abstract

The development of information technology can not be separated with a device called a computer. At this time the computer is needed in a company because by utilizing computer technology can make data processing more quickly and accurately and save storage space in archiving. SMK Tridaya accounting data processing is still manually so that there will be mistakes in recording transactions and takes a long time in working on financial statements. Therefore SMK Tridaya Jakarta requires a computer application program and to solve the problem the author using Zahir Accounting Software Version 5.1 as an alternative problem solvers in accounting data processing. Because by using zahir accounting data processing will be done automatically and can reduce errors that will occur in the data processing. And make effective and efficient in carrying out activities, especially in accounting data processing.

Abstract

Chilli is one of strategic commodity in Indonesia due to its contribution to inflation level. For this reason, future price information is very importance for designing price policy. Future price merely can be provided by conducting a price forecasting. Various forecasting models can be applied for this purpose; the problem is which the best model for forecasting is. This study aims to select the most accurate forecasting model of curly red chili prices at the retail level. The data used are monthly data, from 2011 - 2017. Five forecasting models are applied and estimated including Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Decomposition, and ARIMA. The best model is selected based on the smallest MAPE, MSE and MAD values. The results show that the most accurate forecasting model is ARIMA (1,1,9).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload and work environment on employee job satisfaction at Sayap Ibu Foundation Branch of Banten Province. This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely as many as 58 respondents. The analytical techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The research results prove that Workload (X1) and Work Environment (X2) have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y). The determination obtained by R Square is 0.196, so it can be concluded that the workload variable (X1) influences the employee job satisfaction variable (Y) by 19.6% while the remaining 80.4% is influenced by other factors. The determination obtained by R Square is 0.332, so it can be concluded that the work environment variable (X2) influences the employee job satisfaction variable (Y) by 33.2% while the remaining 66.8% is influenced by other factors. Determination obtained R Square of 0,346, meaning that the variables of workload and work environment together have an influence contribution of 34,6% on employee job satisfaction. While the remaining 65,4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Halal foods are important for Moslems and there is a Moslem’s duty to eat only Halal foods which is stated in Holly Qur’an. Moreover, government already made some regulations related to Halal certification which should be obeyed by food industries, including home industries. This research aimed to detect a porcine component in meatballs sold in Pasar Tradisional Tambun, Bekasi, West Java by using SDS-PAGE Here, we combined mechanical and chemistry methods to extract the proteins and compared the protein profiles on an acrylamide gel. We got specific bands of bovine and porcine proteins according to proteins bands that showed on the gel and after comparing with the samples we found that one sample had combining profiles in the extract. We concluded that three samples used in this research were halal, meanwhile, another sample containing porcine substances. Keywords: Halal, Proteins, Bovine, Porcine, Meatballs, SDS-PAGE.
