Abstract

Correctional institutions are tasked with providing guidance to inmates according to the specified system and are part of the guidance in the final stages (Law No. 12., Year 1995 article 1 verse 1). WBP are residents who are undergoing guidance for a certain period of time to be prepared to enter society according to the court's decision. In the prison, WBP need vocational skills training or spiritual guidance (religious, mental and behavioral) so that preparation to enter society is truly accepted. With various backgrounds experienced, WBP have a variety of personalities both before and after entering the prison. This inner situation greatly influences the metamorphosis of the personality that exists in him after returning to his family/society after undergoing guidance in the prison. Efforts to provide insight as believers, it is necessary to abandon old ways of life (which are the cause of 'entry' into the prison) with various types of crimes that cause sin. Therefore, WBP needs to be given spiritual education for a better life in the present and future by Forgiving, both forgiving themselves for mistakes they have made in the past and forgiving others who make them angry so that they fall into sin. The attitude of forgiving others is not easy, because of various factors that exist within a person. This counseling and community service is carried out to provide spiritual education for WBP of Barelang Batam Penitentiary for gradual changes in attitude and physical during their community service so that when they leave the penitentiary they will have a better personality, be faithful and practice it in the community. This counseling is very important for the change of WBP because support from outside the penitentiary really helps them to be mentally strong, be able to accept situations, reduce stress and various other situations and it is hoped that in the future they can also provide the knowledge they gained while in the penitentiary to other communities so that they do not experience what they have experienced.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia has a very rich cultural diversity, one of which is the tradition of eating merawang which comes from Seberang Jambi City. This tradition is not just about eating together, but also reflects social values such as togetherness, mutual cooperation, and simplicity in the life of the Jambi Malay community. Along with the times, the culture of eating merawang began to be explored in the performing arts, especially traditional dance, to preserve local culture and as a means of education for the younger generation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through literature study and direct observation. The results of the study show that the culture of eating merawang is represented in dance through various aspects, such as dance movements that depict eating together, costumes and props that reflect the identity of Jambi Malay culture, as well as stage arrangements and accompanying music that create a traditional atmosphere. The narrative in the show also clarifies the social meaning contained in this culture. The exploration of the culture of eating merawang in dance not only serves to preserve culture, but also as a means of promotion that introduces local culture to the national and international levels. The incorporation of cultural elements in performing arts provides space for artists to innovate without ignoring existing cultural roots. Thus, this exploration is a real step to maintain the traditions and social values contained in the culture of eating merawang.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the majority of consumers tend to prefer online shopping, with platforms like Shopee becoming increasingly popular. The convenience and ease offered by such e-commerce services are key reasons behind the growing interest in online purchases. Shopee, in particular, provides security features that enhance customer confidence, such as the ability to receive a refund if the seller fails to deliver the purchased item. Additionally, buyers can track their orders through shipment tracking numbers provided by the seller, which helps estimate delivery times. These user-friendly features significantly influence consumer behavior and purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the extent to which factors such as product quality, price, and marketing strategies contribute to consumers' buying intentions. Furthermore, it explores the relationship between product quality, cost, and consumers' purchasing choices. Understanding these interconnections is essential for business owners and marketers in order to refine their strategies and remain competitive in the increasingly crowded digital marketplace. By analyzing these aspects, the study provides insights into how businesses can better meet consumer expectations and influence purchase decisions effectively in an environment where convenience, trust, and perceived value are critical

Abstract

Banks are business entities that collect funds from the public in the form of deposits and channel them to the public in the form of credit and/or other forms of improving the standard of living of the people. This study aims to determine the effect of credit risk and operational risk on Financial Stability. Financial Stability ratios measured using Financial Stability assets and credit risk and operational risk are measured by non-performing loans (NPL) and BOPO. Data obtained from published financial statements published by Bank Indonesia with a period of time from 2015 to 2024. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The number of samples is 3 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method that will be used in this study is multiple linear regression to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between one variable and another. Based on hypothesis testing using statistical t test and f test the results of the research show that Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a significant effect on Financial Stability, while BOPO does not have a significant effect on Financial Stability and simultaneously there is a significant influence of Non Performing Loans (NPL) and BOPO on Financial Stability

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) in two pilot schools in Garut Regency, namely SMAN 8 Garut and SMAN 15 Garut. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that both schools faced challenges in adopting the new curriculum, such as the need for teacher training and student adaptation to more active learning methods. However, the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka has shown significant positive impacts, especially in project-based learning (P5) that enhances creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking skills among students. Teachers also gained more flexibility in designing learning processes, leading to a more engaging classroom atmosphere. This study provides recommendations focusing on increasing teacher training, developing more systematic curriculum implementation guidelines, and providing adequate infrastructure support to ensure sustainable implementation.

Abstract

The toxic fermentation inhibitors in lignocellulosic hydrolysates pose significant problems for the production of second-generation biofuels and biochemicals. Among these inhibitors, 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF) and furfural are specifically well known. This study investigated the furfural and 5-HMF tolerance in Candida strains, which could be used for the development of advanced generation bioethanol processes. The 10 isolates of Candida were selected based on the cell growth and bioethanol production on YPD medium containing several concentrations of furfural and 5-HMF by using spectrophotometer and HPLC. Candida parapsilosis Y80 could grow and produce bioethanol in the medium that contains furfural and 5-HMF with a concentration of 60 mM and 40 mM, respectively. Based on the results, C. parapsilosis Y80 has potential activity in the development of bioethanol fermentation.
