Abstract

Investing in stocks has become a significant source of passive income through indirect earnings with minimal activity. Choosing stocks for investment requires careful analysis. The Indonesia Stock Exchange has 866 listed stocks, divided into several indices, including IDXBUMN20, which includes 20 stocks from state-owned enterprises (BUMN), regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), and their affiliates. This index helps traders monitor the performance of BUMN stocks. The list of IDXBUMN20 stocks includes ADHI, ANTM, BBNI, AGRO, BBRI, BRIS, BBTN, BJBR, BMRI, MTEL, ELSA, JSMR, PGAS, PTBA, PTPP, SMGR, TINS, TLKM, WIKA, and WSKT. Traders need recommendations to select stocks with positive trends. Forecast analysis becomes a potential solution to provide references for stocks with positive trends. This study applies the Simple Moving Average (SMA) method to forecast the prices of IDXBUMN20 stocks. The SMA will be measured using 30, 40, 50, and 60-day periods as indicators. This method is chosen for its ability to identify stock price trends by calculating the average closing price over a specific period. Therefore, forecasting results using SMA will provide a more accurate picture of stock price movements and aid in making better investment decisions. From the forecasting results using the SMA method, recommendations for the top five stocks showing positive trends will be obtained. Subsequently, to determine which stock is most recommended, a stock recommendation model will be developed using the Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. TOPSIS will consider various criteria such as average frequency, Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price Book Value (PBV), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE). The results showed that the most recommendable stocks based on the positive trend of price movements are SMGR for indicator 30 and TLKM for indicators 40, 50 and 60. Therefore, it can be concluded that the most recommended stock is TLKM (PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk). This recommendation model is expected to help traders select the stocks with the best investment potential, maximizing profits and minimizing investment risks in the capital market.

Learning German is not an easy task for Indonesian students due to the very different characteristics of the two languages. This results many students less interested in learning the language. Not a few of them find German language unpleasant and boring, so it is not surprising that many students get poor grades. If their perception is negative, then they surely are not motivated to learn it. Thus, these students need to be directed to know the benefits of learning German, so that they can foster their positive perceptions of the language and of course have a positive impact on their learning outcomes. This paper theoretically examined the relationship between perceptions of the benefits of learning German and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia continues to increase within the period 2009-2018. According to data from the Central Statistics Bureau, in 2018, the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 15.81 million people, or grew by 2.5 times compared to 2009. Even in 2019, the government targeted foreign tourist visits to reach 18 million people. The increasing number of foreign tourists opens up great job opportunities for guides, especially tour guides with the ability to speak English and other languages as support. To produce professionals in this field of work, quality education and training institutions are needed. Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the educational institutions that produces a professional workforce. However, based on data from the Central Statistics Bureau 2020, reflected from the level of education, the SMK open unemployment rate is still the highest among other education levels, which is 8.49% of 9.77 million people. This is a big question mark for SMK in Indonesia. Based on the results of previous research by the author and other sources, it is known that one of the factors affecting the lack of absorption of SMK graduates in the workforce is because their quality is still lacking. This could be due to a lack of cooperation between schools and business and industry. One solution that can answer this problem is the collaboration between SMK and DUDI in developing a curriculum for English subjects for guides. Learning Field as a concept of curriculum development for vocational education in Germany, can also be used in Indonesia in order to harmonize education in SMK with the needs of the labor market.

Abstract

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the unemployment rate in Indonesia in 2020 is still high at 9.77 million people or around 6.26% of the total productive age or labor force. When it was viewed from the level of education, it turned out that vocational high school graduates occupied the top position as a contributor to the unemployment rate in Indonesia, it was 13.55%. This high number of unemployed because the competence possessed by Indonesian human resources was still low or because there were not enough job opportunities to accommodate all graduates of the workforce. To overcome this, the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Directorate of Vocational High School Education (SMK) was trying to find solutions to overcome these problems. This paper discussed a literature review about the teaching factory program in Vocational High Schools as one of the programs suggested by the government to be implemented in Vocational High Schools. Teaching factory was a learning activity where students directly carried out production activities in the form of goods and services in the school education environment, with the aim of training work competencies and having competencies for entrepreneurship. With the implementation of this program, it was expected that Vocational High School graduates were able to create jobs and at the same time opened up job opportunities for others and thus the unemployment rate in Indonesia could be suppressed

Abstract

German is the second foreign language taught in high schools in Maluku. In its introduction, students have difficulty learning German vocabulary and structures. However, teachers always try to ensure that students can understand the material taught well, even though the differences between Indonesian and German make it still difficult to learn a new language. This makes teachers look for creative ways so that the material taught can be absorbed easily by students. For this reason, teachers need to design interactive media that is easy to access and use digital media that is familiar to high school students, who are currently known as Gen Z. This Community Service (PKM) is an assistance for teachers to teach German material by utilizing one of Suno's interactive digital media. In this service, the PKM team taught Uhrzeiten und Aktivitäten Material. Students were asked to compose a simple text related to the material Uhrzeiten und Aktivitäten. The text was then transferred into the Suno application. In the application, they can choose the desired music genre. Students can finally create an interesting and pleasing song by using the simple text they compiled. Through the song, students can remember the themes, vocabulary, and structures they have just learned. Consciously, they can pronounce the song according to German pronunciation. As a result, learning German as a foreign language becomes more meaningful and fun. Overall, this assistance has a positive impact not only on students but also on teachers. Learning becomes more meaningful and fun. Students can easily memorize the vocabulary taught because it is repeated according to the song genre they like. When the teacher practices it in class, she feels helped by the assistance material provided. The learning atmosphere became more fun and meaningful, and the students' German learning outcomes improved.

The methods used in learning by using audiovisual media are lecture, question and answer, group discussion, and dialogue. The results of this activity show that students are more motivated to learn German with the help of video media, where they are very enthusiastic to master the utterances and vocabulary related to the theme of introductions and do pronunciation exercises repeatedly, which leads to an increase in their German speaking skills. The conclusion that can be drawn from this activity is that learning German by using audiovisual digital media can have a positive impact on improving students' speaking skills. through this activity, the PKM team can provide recommendations for German language subject teachers to apply audiovisual digital media in German language learning activities.
