Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipologi pemilih di Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir pada pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Sekadau Tahun 2020, penulis menganalisis dengan empat tipe jenis pemilih yakni, pemilih rasional, pemilih kritis, pemilih tradisional, pemilih skeptis. Pada Pilkada Tahun 2020 Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir jumlah desa sebanyak 17 dengan total 149 TPS. Total jumlah pemilih laki-laki dan perempuan 50.902 pemilih Jumlah penggunaan hak pilih di kecamatan Sekadau Hilir pada Pilkada kabupaten Sekadau Tahun 2020 adalah berjumlah 35106 yang menggunakan hak pilih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa, karakteristik Pemilih tradisional adalah tingkat pendidikan yang rendah dan konservatif dalam memegang nilai serta paham yang dianut, perilaku pemilih berawal dari pengetahuan, pemahaman, perhatian pemilih terhadap masalah-masalah politik yang terjadi di masyarakat. Terdapat beberapa faktor sehingga pemilih di Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir menjadi prilaku pemilih skeptis, atau tidak ikut berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan Pilkada, yaitu Kepala Daerah kurang menyerap hak aspirasi masyarakat, masyarakat apatis pada pemilihan Kepala Daerah, sehingga pada momen menjelang pemilihan ada sebagian memilih untuk bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi, karena Pemilih tidak memfaatkan untuk menggunakan hak suara, dan tidak yakin kebijakan pemerintah akan berhasil, karena siapa pun yang dipilih belum tentu bisa mengubah keadaan daerah. Saran untuk penelitian ini kedepannya perlu diadakannya pendidikan politik kepada semua warga Negara agar Indonesia secara menyeluruh memiliki pemilih-pemilih yang cerdas dan buah produk dari pilihannya membawa daerahnya lebih baik.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the impact of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) through Family Development Session (FDS/P2K2) in Kubu Raya Regency, present a relevant and significant area of research. This poverty alleviation initiative is expected to contribute to efforts in reducing poverty rates and improving the capabilities of low income families. The initial problems identified include changes in the mindset and behavior of beneficiaries in accessing health and education services before and after participacing the PKH program, limited participation of beneficiaries in fulfilling their obligations to attend Family Development Session (FDS/P2K2), the tendency of beneficiaries to use PKH assistance primarily for consumptive needs and to remain dependent on the assistance, also the emerging impacts of P2K2 implementation in Kubu Raya Regency. The writing of this thesis aims to determine the impact of P2K2 on changes the mindset and behavior of beneficiaries through P2K2 in Kubu Raya Regency. Data were obtained through interviews conducted with various predetermined subjects, namely PKH beneficiaries, PKH social assistants, social assistance coordinators, and the head of the Social Service Office of Kubu Raya Regency. The results of this study indicate that the impact of P2K2 requires further optimization to ensure that beneficiaries can consistently access health and education services. Beneficiaries attendance in P2K2 activites is generally satisfactory; however, participation of elderly beneficiaries remains low and requires improvement. Beneficiaries remain dependent on PKH assistance; therefore, training and empowerment programs are necessary to promote self reliance. In the short term, the impact of PKH is primarily limited to fulfilling consumptive needs, whereas medium and long-term impacts require sustained efforts through the collaboration of all PKH implementing stakeholders in Kubu Raya Regency.

Abstract

The simultaneous election agenda in 2024 is an agenda that will soon be implemented in Indonesia. For this reason, the participation of the younger generation, especially those who have entered the age of novice voters, has a strategic role in ensuring that democracy is not only owned by a certain group of elites. This political education activity is a form of service to the community of Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan as an effort to support and uphold healthy democratic practices. This activity aims to provide insight to novice voters regarding the importance of increasing voter participation as well as to reduce the risk of increasing violations of a number of integrity values in facing the 2024 elections. This activity targets 3rd grade students of SMA Bhayangkari Kubu Raya Regency who have entered voting age and are registered as novice voters. By inviting partners of the Kubu Raya Regency Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to provide material about the election.
