Abstract

Objective: This study explores the meaning of success in old age as perceived by millennial workers at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Taman through a phenomenological approach. The research examines their experiences, perspectives, and challenges in preparing for retirement. Method: The study employs a phenomenological approach to understand how millennial workers define and prepare for success in old age. Results: Key findings reveal that millennial workers define success in old age as a combination of good health, financial stability, and family happiness. The study highlights the importance of meticulous planning in areas such as financial management, skill development, and work-life balance. Spiritual values also emerged as critical components in shaping perceptions of future success. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the interplay between personal, professional, and spiritual dimensions in constructing the meaning of successful aging among millennial workers. Insights from this research provide valuable recommendations for organizations to design development programs supporting employees' long-term well-being.

Abstract

The psychology bureau is a place for the public to tell a problem to the experts or psychological tests for job recruitment, psychological tests for students, and other IQ tests. AscaElpida Service Bureau is an institution engaged in services. Based on this, the research aims to find out the effect of dual positions and work culture on work performance at the AscaElpida service bureau. The research method used is qualitative. Data will be collected using interviews, observation, and documentation with as many as 2 informants. The study results indicate that job performance at the AscaElpida Service Bureau is the target that has been achieved. The number of customers increased, and there are multiple positions, namely leaders who carry out more than one activity and are carried out with one person. The organizational culture applied to the Asca Elpida Service Bureau is not optimal enough. This makes employees less efficient or can hinder work. Concurrent positions and organizational culture should be controlled and given maximally so that employees can pay more attention to performance for better performance.

Abstract

The development of MSMEs in coastal communities needs to be fostered and developed so that they can contribute to the economy of the family and the country. MSMEs productivity is an indicator that determines how efficiently MSMEs can run their business. This study aims to analyze the effect of training and work motivation on the productivity of MSMEs in coastal communities. This research method uses a quantitative method, where the population is MSMEs in the Bulak District area of Surabaya, based on the sample criteria the number of samples used in this study were 90 MSME actors. Incoming and appropriate data is processed and analyzed using SEM PLS. This study found that training and work motivation had a significant effect on increasing the productivity of MSMEs in coastal communities and work motivation mediated the effect of training on the productivity of MSMEs in coastal communities. To increase the productivity of MSMEs in coastal communities, they need to be equipped with knowledge and skills through training. The training program must be in accordance with the characteristics of MSMEs in coastal communities, so that the results of the training will motivate MSMEs in coastal communities to become independent, professional and competitive entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Human resource management as an individual manager regulates the role of the workforce of employees according to their abilities and even education in the company to produce and improve the performance of quality employees. This study aimed to determine the effect of worker status and work discipline on employee performance. There are three hypotheses tested in this study, 1. Worker Status has a negative and no significant effect on employee performance, 2. Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 3. Worker Status and Work Discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This type of research uses quantitative methods and tests hypotheses according to the data obtained from the distribution of the questionnaires to all respondents. The research population is 48 employees. This study uses saturated sampling, which is taken from the entire population. The data collection results have been processed and analyzed through SPSS version 25. The study results indicate a negative effect (-0,189) and no significant effect (0 274) on employee status on employee performance. The second shows a positive (0,467) and significant (0,000) influence on work discipline on employee performance. The third shows a positive (0,267) and significant (0,000) impact on Worker Status and Work Discipline on employee performance.Keywords: Worker Status; Work Disicipline; Employee Performance

Abstract

Human resource development and quality are significant to improving company performance. This research aims to determine the effect of the product and quality of human resources on the performance of the Cooperative and Micro Business Office employees in Surabaya during the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. This research uses quantitative methods by testing hypotheses based on data obtained from distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data are collected using a questionnaire with a sample of 38 employees. The results of the research show that the independent variable (X1) is Human Resource Development and the independent variable (X2) is the Quality of Human Resources which simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) Employee Performance with the F test results obtained that f count 57.271 with a value significance 0.000<0.05. While partially the independent variable (X1), Human Resource Development, has a significant and positive impact on the dependent variable Employee Performance (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and the independent variable (X2) Human Resource Quality has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Y ) Employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05.Keywords                   : Development; Quality of Human Resources; Employee Performance.

Abstract

In companies, human resource management is an indispensable basis for efforts to develop and improve employee performance in order to achieve company goals. This research aims to determine the effect of motivation and compensation on the performance of PT employees. Surabaya Wire. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out directly by distributing questionnaires to 60 respondents. Sample research using saturated sampling technique. The analysis tool uses SPSS software version 25. The research results show that (1) The motivation variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT employees. Surabaya Wire, (2) The compensation variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT employees.
