Abstract

The leaf-eating caterpillar pest Plutella xylostella or Tritip caterpillar mostly attacks vegetable plants of the Cruciferae family, one of which is mustard greens and causes around 12.5% ​​damage. Characteristics of damage to mustard plants due to tritip caterpillars are transparent spots on the leaves so that they become torn. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the insecticide combination of simplicia from tobacco, srikaya and bandotan leaves in controlling barnacle caterpillars on mustard greens with variations in concentration and length of time. This research is an experimental research that uses simplicia methods and extraction by infusion. The test will be carried out in 3 repetitions with a concentration of 15%, 30%, 45%. The number of samples used for each concentration was 5 caterpillars and observed every 24 hours once in 3 days. It will be held in June 2023 at the Parasite Laboratory, Department of Environmental Health, Mamuju Ministry of Health Polytechnic and in Banggo Hamlet, Mamasa District, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Based on the data and results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is known that the simplicia extracts of tobacco, srikaya and bandotan leaves were tested one to the third with a concentration of 15%, namely 15g of the simplicia combination dissolved in 85ml aquadest, 30%, namely 30g simplicia dissolved in 75ml aquadest, 45% namely 45g of simplicia dissolved in 55ml of distilled water is very effective against the death of barnacle caterpillars (pulutella xylostella). The higher the concentration used, the higher the potential to kill tritip caterpillars. It is hoped that further research can develop the results of this study by carrying out further research, namely carrying out the observation process when testing extracts for the death of test animals at hourly time intervals and making work procedures that are more easily applied in the community.

Abstract

Penyakit berbasis lingkungan masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia.sepeti DBD yang dapat timbul sari dampak buruknya saniasi lingkungan ,untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan lingkungan diperlukan peran alktif seluruh masyarakat untuk memelihara kesehatan lingkunganya. .kulit jeruk nipis juga mengandung senyawa saonin flovonoid yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan aktif pembuatan insektisida hayati.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menegetahui efektifitas ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) dalam membunuh nyamuk Aedes aedes dalam membunuh nyamuk Aedes aegpyti dengan berbagai konsentrasi yaitu 20%,30% dan 40% dengan waktu pengamatan setiap 1 jam selama 6 jam dan di catat berapa nyamuk yang mati jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode infusa ,alat yang di gunakan dalam pengujian nyamuk Aedes aegpyti yaitu air himedifeir ultrasonic. Berdasarkan hasil yang di dapatkan menunjukkan bahawa konsentrasi yang menyebabkan kematian nyamuk Aedes aegpyti konsentrasi 20% jumlah kematian sebanyak 9 ekor deangan presentase 45%,pada konsentrasi 30%,jumlah kematian sebanyak 12 ekor dengan presentase 60%dan yang 40% jumlah kematian nyamuk sebanyak 15 ekor dengan presentse75%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) efektif dalam mengendalikan nyamuk Aedes aegpyti pada konsentrasi 40% dengan presentase 75% Saran penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternative pengendalian vektor khususnya nyamuk Aedes aegpyti ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis (citrus aurantifolia) di fungsikan sebagai insektisida alami karna aman bagi lingkungan dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan kimia dalam pengendalian nyamuk DBD tidak hanya efektif terhadap vector namun kerusakan terhadap lingkungan perlu menjadi perhatian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak dahan dan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dalam mematikan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan waktu kontak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan metode ekstraksi dengan cara infusa panas, Pengujian akan dilakukan 3 kali dengan konsentrasi 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 larva Aedes aegypti setiap konsentrasinya, diamati setiap 6 jam sekali selama 24 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi tertinggi ekstrak simplisia dahan kelor yang mampu membunuh larva Aedes aegypti yaitu konsentrasi 50% dan yang terendah yaitu 10% dengan rata-rata kematian 10 ekor (50%) sampai 11 ekor (55%). Sedangkan pada ekstrak simplisia daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) pada konsentrasi 40% dan 50% mampu membunuh 20 ekor (100%) larva Aedes aegypti dan yang terendah yaitu konsentrasi 10% dengan rata-rata kematian 10 ekor (50%) sampai13 ekor (65%).Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa dahan kelor mampu membunuh 100% larva Aedes aegypti pada konsentrasi 50% dalam 24 jam dan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) mampu membunuh 100% larva Aedes aegypti pada konsentrasi 40% da 50%. Disarankan agar pihak pemerintah mensosialisasikan potensi sumber daya alam, untuk pemanfaatan dahan dan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) sebagai insektisida nabati.

Abstract

Water sources commonly used by the community include wells. Well water is one of the facilities most commonly used by the community as a source of drinking water and clean water as well as daily needs. Therefore, water used to meet daily needs must meet the requirements regulated in the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation NO. 2 of 2023 concerning environmental health quality standards. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of jackfruit banana peel powder in reducing temperature and pH turbidity in dug well water. This research uses an experimental method, namely by conducting trials on research subjects, then the effects of the intervention are measured and analyzed tests were carried out based on variations in dose concentration. Based on the results obtained, reducing turbidity levels in dug well water using jackfruit banana peel powder at a dose of 6 grams was able to reduce turbidity up to 3.07 NTU, at a dose of 7 grams it was able to reduce turbidity to 2.95 NTU and at a dose of 8 gram is able to reduce turbidity by 2.38 NTU. And jackfruit banana peels are made into powder to lower the pH of dug well water. Jackfruit banana peel powder at a dose of 6 grams can lower the pH to 7.4, at a dose of 7 grams it can lower the pH to 7.13 and a dose of 8 grams can lower the pH to 7.13. The conclusion of this research is that the most effective dose in reducing the turbidity of dug well water is 7 grams and the most effective dose in reducing the pH of dug well water is 6 grams. It is hoped that future researchers will use more than one dug well water sample
