Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai luhur kebiasaan Sako Seng pada masyarakat Kabupaten Sikka di Provinsi NTT ke dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai tanggung jawab dan kerja sama pada peserta didik. Sako Seng merupakan kebiasaan masyarakat Sikka yang mengacu pada semangat gotong-royong dan kerja sama dalam mengelola dan mengolah lahan pertanian atau kebun. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, tes, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Responden ditentukan peneliti yakni kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa di SDK 025 Kloangrotat. Analisis data  dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran di kelas guru telah mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai nilai kearifan lokal seperti kebiasaan Sako Seng ke dalam bahan ajar sehingga mudah dipahami peserta didik dan meningkatkan nilai tanggung jawab, kerja sama serta berimbas pada peningkatan hasil belajar mereka. Selain itu, implementasi berbagai nilai kearifan lokal Sikka juga dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler peserta didik melalui Program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), seperti pentas seni, praktik kerajinan lokal, dan beberapa kegiatan lainnya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning conditions at the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level caused by several factors, namely the weak creativity of teachers in managing the classroom, the lack of media and learning support tools, and the low interest in learning from students. By describing innovations in the form of image design on the concept of Literacy Toilets, this study aims to explore the concept of Literacy Toilets initiated and collaborate with Discovery Learning learning steps. The research method applied is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach based on various information collected from observation studies, documentation and interview results with parties directly involved in education at the school. The results of the study show that the steps of the Discovery Learning model can be applied and collaborated with the school literacy movement through the concept of Literacy Toilets.  The application of the exploration method through the design of the Literacy Toilet can increase the Student Learning Activity (KBS) from 62.6% with the Medium category to 85.22% with the High category.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that most children in West Sumba and Central Sumba are forced to drop out of school for various very crucial reasons. The purpose of this study refers to efforts to identify various factors that influence the high dropout rate. The collected data shows that the number of primary school dropouts in West Sumba was 151 students (0.76%) from 18,772 primary school students in the regency. The highest number was in the Lamboya and Tanarighu districts, making up 2.02% and 1.06%, respectively. The percentage is even lower for secondary school dropouts, which is 0.006% of the total of 13,368 junior high school students in West Sumba. The percentage of school dropouts at the primary schools in the Central Sumba Regency is 0.72%. From the collected data, the highest dropout rates are in the districts of Mamboro (1.28%). The percentage of secondary school dropouts in Central Sumba is 2.14%. The highest numbers were in the districts of Umbu Ratu Nggay Barat (3.61%), Katikutana Selatan (2.42%), Katikutana (2.04%), Mamboro (1.70%), and Umbu Ratu Nggay (1.21%). From the information above, the highest dropout rates for primary and secondary schools are in Umbu Ratu Nggay Barat and Katikutana Selatan districts. The main factors causing the high dropout rate in these two districts are Social Attitudes, Environmental Factors, and Laws and Institutions

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning situation in the classroom which is still conventional and fixated on the textbooks provided by the school. Teachers have not been creative and innovative in designing teaching materials so that they do not improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to increase teachers' understanding and creativity in developing science and technology teaching materials based on Guti Nale local wisdom in Lembata Regency. The development research procedure uses the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study are 22 students in grade IV of SDK Aliuroba in Lembata Regency. Data collection was carried out through document studies, observations, questionnaire distribution and interviews with teachers who developed teaching materials. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively, starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that teachers are able to develop elementary science teaching materials based on local wisdom "Guti Nale" in Lembata Regency. The results of this study also have implications for the development of students' understanding and learning outcomes and increase the spirit of loving local traditions.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) in the form of workshops and mentoring to teachers at SDK 025 Kloangrotat, are based on the problems faced by teachers at the school. Most teachers only teach fixated on textbooks provided by the government. Teachers lack innovation and development of teaching materials, especially integrating the values of local wisdom of Sikka Regency into teaching materials. The purpose of this activity is to increase teachers understanding of the concept of developing teaching materials based on local wisdom and their skills in designing application-based teaching materials. The implementation method is in the form of socialization, training, and mentoring for teachers. The result of this activity is that all teachers can understand the concept of developing teaching materials based on local wisdom and are able to design their own teaching materials based on the Canva-Pro application. Activities can have a further impact by encouraging teachers to always develop their abilities while being accompanied continuously by instructors or learning experts.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal yang tumbuh dan berkembang pada suatu komunitas, dipercaya oleh suatu masyarakat sebagai nilai atau norma hingga saat ini. penerapan nilai-nilai filosofi dari kearifan local Ro’A Dun Kare Taden di masyarakat dan peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta studi dokumentasi akan memberikan data yang akurat tentang implementasi nilai Ro’A Dun Kare Taden. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penerapan Kearifan Lokal Ro'a Dun Kare Taden di Kecamatan Waigete Kabupaten Sikka pada masyarakat dan siswa di sekolah dasar mempunyai dampak yang positif terhadap kelestarian lingkungan hidup.

Abstract

Kegiatan KKN-MM merupakan salah satu implementasi keterlibatan perguruan tinggi dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Keterlibatan perguruan tinggi terhadap kegiatan kemasyarakatan adalah wujud aktualisasi darma pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai salah satu darma dalam pendidikan tinggi. Pada kegiatan KKN-MM di Desa Pogon, mahasiswa dan dosen mengangkat tem pengembangan desa sebagai kawasan terpadu berbasis Agropolitan. Oleh karena itu, tim KKN-MM merancang kegiatan sosialisasi, pendampingan dan pemberdayaan kelompok masyarakat desa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian dan sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Selain sektor pertanian, tim KKN juga menyasar sektor ekonomi, kesehatan dan pendidikan dengan memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya menabung, bimbingan belajar IPA dan Bahasa Inggris, pemeriksaan kesehatan ibu- anak dan lansia, pendampingan psikologis bagi remaja. Semua kegiatan KKN-MM dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat sehingga bisa membantu meningkatkan perekonomian, khususnya pada sektor pertanian yang menjadi sektor andalan masyarakat Desa Pogon.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) learning and to assess student learning outcomes when using the PBL model. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), which is a practical study intended to improve learning in the classroom. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Beru. The research data were collected using field notes, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on the research design used, data analysis was conducted through analysis and reflection in each cycle, based on observations recorded in field notes and other observation formats. The teacher carried out learning activities according to the indicators and learning objectives, and students actively presented the results of their discussions in front of the class. Through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model in Social Studies learning on the topic of "Cultural Diversity of My Nation" in fourth grade at SD Inpres Beru, data on learning outcomes and observations during the learning process in each cycle were obtained. The data from this study indicate an increase in teacher activity, student activity, and overall learning outcomes in Social Studies. In the first cycle, student learning outcomes were categorized as fairly good, as evidenced by a completion rate of 70% and a class average score of 79. Based on these results, the study proceeded to the second cycle. The results of the second cycle showed an improvement in learning outcomes, with a completion rate of 100% and a class average score of 90.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu model implementasi kurikulum yang dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan di jejang sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran matematika membutuhkan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga bisa membuat proses belajar lebih menarik perhatian siswa. Pembelajaran matematika kelas VI di SDI Wolomapa terlihat membosankan dan membuat siswa tidak semangat dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Siswa jarang untuk melakukan diskusi kelompok dan lebih sering mencatat rumus serta contoh soal lalu mengerjakan latihan soal yang ada dalam buku. Hal ini membuat siswa tidak memahami materi tersebut lebih luas karena yang diketahui hanya yang ada dalam buku tersebut. Dari permasalahan tersebut membawa pengaruh yang terlihat pada hasil pembelajaran pada siklus I menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning diperoleh hasil dari 11 siswa terdapat 4 (36%) tuntas dan 7 (64%) tidak tuntas. Penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SDI Wolomapa yang berbasis lesson study. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas berbasis lesson study dengan tahap plan-do-see. Pada siklus II penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing terlihat hasil pembelajaran sudah mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan yang terlihat dari hasil belajar 11 siswa terdapat 10 (90%) tuntas dan 1 (10%) tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing melalui lesson study dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari yang berkaitan dengan bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas VI SDI Wolomapa.
