Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain why the transition must be researched, comprehended, and included in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level. In the early childhood education, we need to perceive that involvement, collaboration, and communication between children, families, schools, and community are important factors that will strengthen the transition towards a positive direction in helping children to go to school and encourage them in passing through the transition to Elementary School. Fundamentally a child's growth is influenced by child development aspects which include religious, moral values, physical and motor, cognitive, social-emotional, language and art that has become the basis of every development in learning programs that will be carried out at the level of Early Childhood and Elementary Education. By applying the literature review method, this article aims to gain a holistic apprehension from various perspectives on the significance of transition in Early Childhood Education. The aim of the transition in Early Childhood Education is none other than to help children develop the basic potential that has already existed inside them, not only for increasing children's knowledge and independence but also their apprehension which will later support each other in preparing themselves for Primary level

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini disebabkan masih adanya kapasitas anak dalam berhitung belum berkembang. Untuk itu perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung melalui media pembelajaran yang menarik yaitu dengan  media smart board. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk peningkatkan kemampuan berhitung kelompok B di KOBER Mekar Arum dengan menggunakan media smart board. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 12 anak, delapan laki-laki dan empat perempuan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa reduksi data, display data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian di lapangan menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berhitung, pada awalnya masih ada  anak yang belum berkembang. Kemudian setelah dilakukan penelitian pada tahap pertama 6 anak yang belum berkembang dan 6 anak mulai berkembang dan sampai pada tahap terakhir kemampuan anak berkembang sangat baik. Dengan demikian penggunaan media smart board dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung kelompok B di KOBER Mekar Arum. The background of this research is because the children's capacity to count has not yet developed. For this reason, it is necessary to make efforts to improve numeracy skills through interesting learning media, namely smart boards. This research aims to increase the numeracy ability of group B in KOBER Mekar Arum by using smart board media. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative, with research subjects of as many as 12 children, eight boys, and four girls. The data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is used in the form of data reduction, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. Based on research in the field, there was an increase in numeracy skills, but at first, there were still children who had not developed them. Then, after doing research, in the first stage, six children have not developed, six children begin to develop, and until the last stage, there is the ability of children to develop very well. Thus, the use of smart board media can improve group B's numeracy skills at KOBER Mekar Arum.

Abstract

Rasa percaya diri pada anak merupakan kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan melalui suatu metode pembelajaran yang diajarkan di sekolah, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan metode bernyanyi, sebab kemampuan rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B menunjukan hasil yang rendah dikarenakan kurangnya stimulus dalam pembelajaran I kelas. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengoptimalkan rasa percaya diri anak-anak melalui metode bernyanyi. Penelitian ini diteliti dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan jenis model penelitian Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 11. Setelah data terkumpul, data dianalisis data menggunakan nilai rata-rata dalam bentuk persentase yang diperoleh dari data observasi. Setelah dianalisis diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat peningkatan rasa percaya diri anak yang di setiap siklus antara lain 1) kemampuan rasa percaya diri pada pra siklus berada pada nilai rata-rata 40,90%, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 50,30% dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,78%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan metode bernyanyi yang diterapkan sebagai solusi permasalahan yang dilaksanakan mulai dari pra siklus hingga siklus ke-2 kemampuan rasa percaya diri dapat meningkatkan. Self-confidence in children is an ability that needs to be developed through a learning method taught at school, one of which is using the singing method because the self-confidence ability of group B children shows low results due to the lack of stimulus in class I learning. Therefore, this research aimed to optimize children's self-confidence through singing methods. This research was conducted using classroom action research with the Kemmis & Mc research model. Taggart's research subjects were 11 group B children. After the data was collected, the data were analyzed using average values in the form of percentages obtained from observation data. After analysis, the research results showed that there was an increase in children's self-confidence in each cycle, including 1) the ability to feel confident in the pre-cycle was at an average value of 40.90%; 2) there was an increase in the first cycle with an average value of 50, 30%; and 3) in the second cycle the average score was 78.78%, so it can be concluded that by using the singing method as a solution to problems implemented from the pre-cycle to the second cycle, self-confidence can increase.

Abstract

In this study, the author discusses teachers' perspectives on illustrated storybooks in introducing disaster preparedness to young children. This research employed a descriptive design. The objective of this study is to provide a detailed or systematic description of teachers' perspectives on the development of illustrated storybook learning media with a disaster theme to be introduced to young children, The data collection technique used by the author is an interview with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) approach. The analysis technique used is by transcribing the results of interviews conducted with experts in detail. A transcript is a process of transferring data from audio recordings or field notes into a descriptive text. The research results can serve as a basis for researchers in developing illustrated storybooks on disaster themes for young children.

Abstract

Problem based learning model (PBL) has been implemented in the learning process in PAUD. The application of PBL in learning activities is carried out to develop children's abilities in identifying and finding solutions to problems that children are facing, such as in science play activities. One of the problems that occurs is related to the development of curiosity , especially those related to the ability to analyze and develop initiatives to describe problems faced by children when playing. This study was conducted to determine the extent to which the use of PBL learning models based on science activities can be used to develop the curiosity of children aged 4- 5 years in Kindergarten 'LSUPI' totaling 30 children. Data collection was carried out by using triangulation techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies , resulting in qualitative descriptive analysis techniques in the form of percentages and explanations . As a result, it is known that the application of the learning model PBL based on science activities is a tool for children to encourage and grow 8 indicators of curiosity when carrying out learning activities.

Abstract

Rentan nya hubungan keluarga antara ibu dan anak dikarenakan orang tua yang sibuk bekerja, anak pun merasa terabaikan apalagi terhadap asupan makanan anak yang cenderung dilakukan oleh sang ibu yang sudah sibuk diluar rumah untuk lebih memilih makanan siap saji, membiarkan anak jajan sembarangan dan tidak memperhatikan kandungan gizi sehingga membuat penulis ingin meneliti lebih dalam bagaimana hubungan kedekatan ibu dan anak yang berkembang melalui pembuatan bekal makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan yang terjalin dengan kedekatan antara ibu dan anak yang diberikan dalam hal penyajian bekal makanan (bento) pada Raudhatul Athfal (RA). Melalui studi literatur ini  penulis mengambil berbagai sumber data dari jurnal-jurnal yang telah dipublikasikan terkait dengan hubungan pendekatan ibu dan anak melalui penyajian bekal makanan (bento). Analisis Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, pengorganisasian, serta analisis lanjutan menggunakan metode dokumentasi yang diambil dari jurnal Online yang terdapat pada Google Schoolar Setelah itu sumber data ini dianalisis lebih dari 15 artikel yang dimulai dari tahun 2005 hingga saat ini. kemudian diuraikan dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian yang penulis dapat dari analisis data tersebut selanjutnya akan dikaji kembali dengan menggunakan deskriptif analitik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil bahwa penyajian bekal makanan (bento) terbukti memberikan hubungan pada pendekatan antara ibu dan anak yaitu perantara berkomunikasi, dan  dapat mengontrol asupan anak. The vulnerability of family relationships between mothers and children due to parents who are busy working, children also feel neglected, especially regarding the child's food intake, which tends to be done by the mother, who is already busy outside the home, preferring fast food, letting children buy snacks carelessly, and not paying attention to nutritional content, so the author wants to research more deeply how the closeness of the mother and child develops through the preparation of food supplies. This study aims to analyze the relationship that is established with the closeness between mothers and children in terms of serving food supplies (bento) at Raudhatul Athfal (RA). Through this literature study, the author took various data sources from published journals related to the relationship between the mother and child approach through the presentation of food supplies (bento). Analysis Data collection was carried out by collecting data, organizing it, and further analyzing it using documentation methods taken from online journals found on Google Scholar. After that, this data source was analyzed in more than 15 articles starting from 2005 to the present. Then described using descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research that the author obtained from the data analysis will then be reviewed again using descriptive analytics. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the presentation of food supplies (bento) was proven to provide a relationship between the approach between mother and child, namely as a communication intermediary, and can control the child's intake.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial emosional merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang sangat penting bagi setiap anak karena salah satu faktor penentu kesuksesannya di masa depan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari kegiatan pembelajaran anak kelompok B yang hanya sebatas pada lembar kerja anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial emosional melalui kegiatan meronce pada anak usia dini POS PAUD KENARI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), tahapan kegiatan penelitian ini yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Keempat tahapan tersebut dilaksanakan dua siklus. Dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 anak di kelompok B. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dengan rumus persentase. Hasil dari tindakan kelas terdapat peningkatan dalam sosial emosional diantaranya anak bermain dengan teman sebaya, mau berbagi dengan orang lain, menghargai karya orang lain, mau bekerjasama dan menunjukkan sikap toleran. Peningkatan sosial emosional yang diamati dari pra siklus dan pasca siklus. Skor rata-rata pra siklus yaitu 32,05% meningkat 67,25 % siklusI. Skor tersebut terus mengalami peningkatan yang baik hingga 79,25 % siklus II. Hasil penelitian sudah dianggap berhasil. Dengan demikian, kegiatan meronce dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional pada anak usia dini di POS PAUD Kenari. Social-emotional development is a crucial aspect of early childhood growth, as it significantly contributes to future success and overall well-being. The limited learning activities for Group B children, primarily restricted to worksheets, motivated this study. This research aimed to improve the social-emotional skills of early childhood learners at POS PAUD Kenari through beading (stringing) activities. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle comprised three sessions. The subjects of this study were 10 children in Group B. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques with percentage calculations. The results indicated improvements in children's social-emotional skills, including playing cooperatively with peers, willingness to share, appreciation of others' work, cooperation, and tolerance. The average pre-cycle score was 32.05%, which increased to 67.25% in Cycle I and further rose to 79.25% in Cycle II. These results indicate that the beading activity effectively enhanced the social-emotional skills of early childhood learners at POS PAUD Kenari.
