Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of organizational culture and time management on the work ability and performance of ASN at the Office of the Village Community Empowerment Service in South Sulawesi Province.The study used a sample of 111 State Civil Apparatus at the Office of Community and Village Empowerment Services in South Sulawesi Province.The sampling technique used probability sampling with purposive sampling. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire . This study used quantitative data analysis techniques using path analysis.The results of this study state that organizational culture and time management have a direct positive and significant effect on work ability and performance of the State Civil Apparatus, then time management has an effect on work capability. It is also known that work ability has a significant effect on employee performance, while organizational culture and management time has a positive and significant effect on performance through the work capability of the State Civil Apparatus at the Office of the Village Community Empowerment Service in South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of digital literacy, technological adoption, and collaborative learning on student engagement in business education. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 300 undergraduate students enrolled in business programs through a structured questionnaire. The analysis employed descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression techniques to investigate the relationships between the variables. The results revealed that digital literacy, technological adoption, and collaborative learning significantly contribute to student engagement, with collaborative learning emerging as the strongest predictor. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing digital literacy and promoting technology use in educational settings, alongside fostering collaborative learning experiences, to improve student engagement in business education. These insights have implications for educators and curriculum designers seeking to create more effective and engaging learning environments.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth in developing countries, emphasizing the role of government expenditures and tax policies in shaping economic outcomes. The findings indicate a strong positive relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth, where government spending and tax measures significantly contribute to enhancing economic performance. Specifically, the study reveals that well-structured fiscal policies can effectively promote growth, with key fiscal tools such as public investment and tax reforms playing a vital role. The results suggest that developing countries can achieve higher economic growth by implementing strategic fiscal measures, which can address structural challenges and encourage sustainable development. The research provides essential insights for policymakers to design more efficient fiscal policies that foster long-term economic stability and growth.

Abstract

Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic step in facing the challenges of economic digitalization. This study aims to explore the impact of using marketplace applications as an online marketing medium on the sustainability and growth of MSME businesses. Digital marketplaces allow MSMEs to access wider markets, reduce operational costs, and increase marketing efficiency. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy, lack of trust in online transactions, and adaptation to technology are significant obstacles. The research approach used a survey method and in-depth interviews with 100 MSME actors in various economic sectors. The results showed that 75% of respondents experienced an increase in sales after using the marketplace, while 60% acknowledged an increase in digital competence through training related to the platform. The study also identified the importance of the role of government and private institutions in providing digital education, access to funding, and technology infrastructure for MSMEs. The conclusion of the study confirms that the use of marketplace applications is not only a modern marketing solution, but also encourages local economic empowerment. Recommendations are given to improve the effectiveness of training, collaboration between industry players, and technology integration to support MSME competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of incentive, reward, and punishment mechanisms on employee performance within the context of PT. Ecotropika Multikonsultan, a leading environmental consultancy firm in Indonesia. Drawing on reinforcement theory and strategic human resource management frameworks, the research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of both positive and corrective motivational tools in enhancing workplace outcomes. The study employs a quantitative survey approach, utilizing structured questionnaires distributed to 64 employees, followed by multiple linear regression analysis to assess variable influence. The findings indicate that all three factors—rewards, incentives, and punishment—have a significant and positive impact on employee performance, with reward exerting the strongest influence. These results underscore the importance of integrating both motivational and disciplinary strategies within HRM to drive performance. The study contributes to the literature by offering empirical insights into the nuanced application of behavioral reinforcement in a real-world organizational setting. While the scope is limited to a single institution, the implications are broadly relevant for organizations aiming to foster performance-driven cultures. This research provides actionable guidance for HR professionals and organizational leaders on how to optimize workforce potential through strategically designed incentive and control systems.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi pendorong utama perubahan lanskap bisnis, terutama bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran strategis sistem informasi bisnis dalam mendukung sinkronisasi pengelolaan talenta, penguatan branding, inovasi layanan, dan peningkatan daya saing UMKM di era ekonomi digital. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tinjauan pustaka menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif terhadap 32 artikel ilmiah dan sumber kredibel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 1964 hingga 2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi bisnis berperan sebagai katalisator utama dalam pengelolaan SDM berbasis data (melalui Human Resource Information System), peningkatan nilai merek melalui Customer Relationship Management, serta akselerasi inovasi layanan berbasis digital. Teori Resource-Based View dan Dynamic Capabilities menegaskan bahwa sistem informasi menjadi aset strategis yang mampu memperkuat keunggulan bersaing secara berkelanjutan. Studi kasus UMKM seperti Brodo, Sate Ratu, dan Haus! memperkuat argumen bahwa integrasi sistem informasi mampu meningkatkan ketahanan, adaptivitas, dan inovasi bisnis UMKM dalam menghadapi tekanan pasar yang dinamis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman peran sistem informasi sebagai strategi kunci dalam pemberdayaan dan penguatan daya saing UMKM di tengah disrupsi digital yang kian masif.

Abstract

UMKM memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun persaingan yang semakin ketat di era digital menuntut mereka untuk mengadopsi sistem informasi guna meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana sinergi inovasi digital dan fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) dapat membantu UMKM dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar. Data dikumpulkan dari Google Scholar dan situs web kredibel dalam rentang tahun 2020–2025, dengan total 30 artikel yang disaring menjadi 18 artikel yang paling relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi informasi seperti e-commerce, big data analytics, dan chatbot dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional serta memperluas jangkauan pasar UMKM. Studi kasus dari Batik Trusmi, Kopi Kenangan, Somethinc, dan Erigo menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi strategi pemasaran berbasis FOMO dengan digitalisasi mampu meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan dan mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya literasi digital, keterbatasan modal, dan kurangnya perencanaan jangka panjang masih menjadi hambatan dalam implementasi sistem informasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan dari pemerintah, platform digital, serta pelatihan yang berkelanjutan agar UMKM dapat mengoptimalkan sistem informasi secara efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan daya saing mereka.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi landasan penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di tengah dinamika ekonomi global yang berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran strategis literasi digital masyarakat dalam mendorong adopsi inovasi teknologi oleh UMKM, khususnya dalam konteks pembangunan ekosistem ekonomi berbasis platform. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari 50 artikel ilmiah yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dan situs kredibel lainnya dalam rentang waktu 1989 hingga 2025, kemudian diseleksi ketat dan menghasilkan 24 artikel yang relevan untuk dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital berperan sebagai katalis dalam proses adopsi teknologi, baik dalam peningkatan efisiensi operasional, pengembangan pasar digital, maupun dalam memperkuat daya saing UMKM secara keseluruhan. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa keberhasilan transformasi digital UMKM sangat bergantung pada kesiapan masyarakat dalam memahami, mengakses, dan menggunakan teknologi digital secara efektif. Penelitian ini memperluas pemahaman teoretis dengan mengintegrasikan kerangka Technology Acceptance Model dan Diffusion of Innovations Theory, serta menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah, platform digital, komunitas, dan pelaku usaha dalam membangun ekosistem digital yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of non-formal education based on women’s empowerment in enhancing business competence, economic independence, and household welfare in the era of social transformation. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach through descriptive analysis. Data were obtained from Google Scholar and credible websites with a publication range between 1964–2025. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis, which involved organising information, identifying key themes, comparing findings across studies, and presenting comprehensive interpretations. From 50 initial articles, after a strict selection process based on relevance and quality, 32 articles were used as the main sources. The results indicate that non-formal education contributes significantly to building women’s entrepreneurial skills, increasing financial independence, and strengthening family welfare. The integration of digital literacy, social capital reinforcement, and community support has proven to enhance the effectiveness of non-formal education programs amid the dynamics of social transformation. This study also highlights the relevance of Human Capital Theory, Empowerment Theory, Capability Approach, and Network Society in understanding the relationship between non-formal education and women’s empowerment. The findings provide practical implications for the development of community-based programs, theoretical implications in enriching the literature on women’s empowerment, and policy implications in formulating sustainable socio-economic development strategies.
