Abstract

Abstract: The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation (JAI) is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia that has developed through a historical process. JAI has struggled to gain recognition from the community, such as social programs and the law's legality. However, JAI remains the target of intolerant groups to carry out persecution because the teachings adhered to by JAI are considered heretical due to different Islamic concepts in general. This study aims to analyze the existence of JAI, such as legal entities, organizational systems, and activities carried out. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interview approach and a literature study. The study results indicate a legal clash between the legality of JAI's law and the law that prohibits JAI's activities. Then the general public does not seek information beforehand about the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation, so the public is consumed by the issues addressed to the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation.

Abstract

This research is pushed by the phenomenon of low writing proficiency of students. Many students experience confusion when trying to form sentences, which in turn hinders their skill to write short stories effectively, both in terms of structure, vocabulary, and idea development. It is believed that applying the chain writing method could enhance students’ abilities to write short stories. Through pretests and posttests on 4th grade students in elementary schools, it is concluded that there is an influence of the chain writing method, particularly with the guidance of the digital media application “Let's Read.” This is supported by the outcomes of the posttest's mean score in the empirical Group being greater than in the control Group. The score for the control class was 74.6 while the score for the empirical class was 85.6. The outcomes of information analysis fulfilled a tcount value (-5.578) > ttable (-1.672) and fulfilled a remarkable score of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. With these outcomes, it can be concluded that the chain writing method with the Let's Read application has a remarkable influence on short story writing skill of 4th grade students in elementary schools, compared to conventional studying by the lecture method.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effect of Literacy Cloud on the language skills of fifth grade students, motivated by low learning outcomes in Indonesian language skills. One cause is the lack of interesting, interactive learning materials used in the teaching and learning process. This study aimed to determine the impact of Literacy Cloud on the language proficiency of fifth-grade students. A quantitative quasi-experimental design was used, involving pre- and post-tests on two groups. The results showed a significant increase in language skill scores in the experimental group. A t-test revealed a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. Therefore, Literacy Cloud has been proven to positively impact language skills and can be used as an effective alternative learning medium in elementary schools. Keyword: Literacy Cloud; Language Skills; Learning Media   Abstrak: Penelitian ini menelaah pengaruh Literacy Cloud terhadap keterampilan berbahasa siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar, dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia, terutama dalam aspek keterampilan berbahasa. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Literacy Cloud terhadap keterampilan berbahasa siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experiment), yang melibatkan pre-test dan post-test pada dua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor keterampilan berbahasa yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen. Uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi < 0,05, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Dengan demikian, penggunaan Literacy Cloud terbukti memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbahasa dan dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif di Sekolah Dasar.
