Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui usaha-usaha guru PAI dalam mencegah perilaku juvenile delinquency yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura Langkat. Pendidikan Agama Islam meletakkan keberhasilan ilmu pengetahuan dengan diimbangi mental yang sehat dan akhlak yang mulia, sehingga bermanfaat bagi kecerdasan umat dan negara. Untuk membimbing peserta didik agar menjadi insan yang berakhlak mulia tentu tidaklah mudah, oleh kerena itu diperlukan berbagai peran yang harus dilakukan oleh guru dalam menangani kenakalan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah kenakalan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura Langkat ialah sering bolos, tidak masuk kelas, merokok dan menggangu teman. Peran yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanggulangi kenakalan peserta didik yaitu dengan dengan memberikan peringatan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta didik, memberikan nasehat dan menceritakan tokoh idola. Bapak Fadli Sebagai guru Pendidikan Agama Islam juga berperan penting dalam mengurangi kenakalan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik kelas VII dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kenakalan yang berulang-ulang ialah karena faktor puber dan lingkungan pertemananya, yang lebih dominan melakukan kenakalan-kenakalan ialah peserta didik laki-laki.

Abstract

Indonesia's curriculum reform has established the Merdeka Curriculum. Every teacher must prioritize students' freedom, independence, and creativity in implementing it. The research aims to explore the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Al-Qur'an Hadith learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Langkat. The method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation methods. The study found that Al-Quran Hadith learning has used the Merdeka Curriculum learning materials. Teachers also adapt their teaching methods to student needs and interests, identifying strengths and weaknesses. One of the learning methods used in the learning process is project-based learning, which is used to improve critical thinking skills, foster student initiative in working, motivate, and develop group interpersonal relationships. It has an impact on improving student engagement and enthusiasm for learning. This study concluded that the Merdeka curriculum is fully implemented. That emphasizes flexible learning activities, project-based learning, and student-centered approaches and focuses on developing students' competencies.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan bagian terpenting pada bidang pendidikan di Indonesia, sebab pendidikan merupakan ujung tombak kemajuan suatu Negara. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan karena masih adanya guru-guru yang belum memahami kurikulum 2013 dan membedakan kurikulum merdeka belajar, maka dengan adanya hal ini dosen Sekolah Tinggi Jamiyah Mahmudiyah Tanjung Pura menyelenggarakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Makmuniyyah Tanjung Pura. Pada observasi awal ditemukan kegagapan guru dalam membedakan kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum merdeka belajar dan pembuatan RPP yang terjadi saat wadah pandemic melanda di Indonesia. Metode yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literature dengan telaah buku, artikel, jurnal, dan sumber informasi lainnya yang relevan dengan kurikulum yang berlaku di Indonesia.

Abstract

This socialization program for the introduction of batik culture in Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Puchong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, aims to provide insight into the art of batik and train the skills of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) children in making simple batik works. This activity was carried out by students of the International Community Service Program (KKN) of the Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Institute of Langkat using a participatory method involving the presentation of theory, demonstration of batik techniques, and hands-on practice. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and direct interaction with participants totaling 35 children. The results of the activity showed that the SB Puchong children not only gained technical skills in batik making, but also increasingly understood the philosophy and cultural values contained in batik. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from their interest in choosing motifs, mixing colors, and applying both dip and colet dyeing techniques.In addition, the training increased the children’s appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and fostered a sense of pride in their cultural identity despite being in an overseas environment. The evaluation of the activity showed that the practice-based method was effective in improving the participants’ understanding and skills, as well as providing valuable experience in the creative process of making batik. With the success of this program, it is hoped that the children's awareness of the importance of cultural preservation and can continue to develop their batik skills in the future.

Abstract

This research examines Indonesian children's training in making feather wire keychain crafts with Asmaul Husna inscriptions at Elshaddai Studio, Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The research also wanted to explore the Islamic meanings and values contained in the work and its impact on the religious understanding and creativity of migrant children. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, which allows researchers to explore the phenomenon of handicraft skills applied in the social, cultural, and spiritual context of the Indonesian migrant children's community. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the training provided practical skills to the children and introduced them to the values of tawhid and the beauty of Islam through Asmaul Husna. In addition, this training can increase children's self-confidence and provide them with valuable skills in daily life. This keychain craft also has a spiritual function as a reminder of the names of Allah. It could be an effective medium of da'wah to introduce Islamic teachings to the broader community. Thus, this research contributes to Islamic arts-based education among migrant children and introduces the potential of a creative economy through handicrafts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pandangan Imam Al-Ghazali tentang peran guru dalam pendidikan agama Islam serta relevansinya terhadap praktik pendidikan masa kini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka kualitatif dengan menganalisis karya-karya utama Al-Ghazali dan sumber-sumber ilmiah terbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Ghazali memandang guru bukan hanya sebagai penyampai ilmu, tetapi sebagai pembimbing spiritual yang menanamkan nilai akhlak dan mendekatkan murid kepada Allah. Nilai-nilai penting yang ditekankan meliputi keikhlasan, kasih sayang, kerendahan hati, dan menjauhi orientasi materi. Ia juga menekankan pentingnya metode pengajaran bertahap yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan murid. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi pemikiran klasik Islam dengan tantangan pendidikan kontemporer, terutama dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di era digital. Kontribusi penelitian ini bersifat teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis akhlak. Penelitian ini mendorong para guru untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai kenabian dalam membentuk generasi yang religius, cerdas, dan berakhlak mulia. This study explores Imam Al-Ghazali’s perspective on the role of teachers in Islamic religious education and its relevance to contemporary educational practices. Employing a qualitative library research method, the study analyzes Al-Ghazali's major works alongside recent scholarly sources. Findings reveal that Al-Ghazali conceptualizes teachers not merely as transmitters of knowledge, but as spiritual mentors who guide students toward moral excellence and closeness to Allah. Key values emphasized include sincerity, compassion, humility, and the avoidance of materialistic motives. Furthermore, Al-Ghazali advocates for gradual teaching methods tailored to students’ individual capacities. The novelty of this study lies in bridging classical Islamic educational philosophy with modern pedagogical challenges, particularly the ethical formation of students in the digital era. This research contributes theoretically to the development of character-based Islamic education and provides practical insights for teachers and curriculum designers. It encourages educators to embody prophetic values in shaping a morally upright and spiritually aware generation.

Abstract

Etika Pembelajaran Menurut Imam Al Ghazali yang Relevansinya Pada Peserta didik MAN 1 Langkat. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui relevansi etika pembelajaran menurut Imam Al Ghazali terhadap peserta didik MAN 1 Langkat. Penelitian ini diharapkan untuk menambah wawasan terkait dengan etika pembelajaran. Berdasarkan jenisnya, skripsi ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang bersifat deskriptif analitis yang datanya diperoleh dari sumber literatur. Dalam mengumpulkan data penulis menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik MAN 1 Langkat. Dari hasil penelitian, data direduksi selanjutnya disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif. kesimpulan dalam skripsi ini adalah etika pembelajaran menurut Imam Al Ghazali lebih menekankan kepada ketulusan niat seorang peserta didik dalam menuntut ilmu. Etika pembelajaran menurut Imam Al Ghazali mengarahkan peserta didik untuk membersihkan jiwa dalam belajar dan tujuan belajar hanya karena Allah. Imam Al Ghazali mengajarkan bahwa peserta didik harus menjaga etika terhadap guru dan teman di sekolah. Kemudian, Imam Al Ghazali juga mengarahkan peserta didik agar memperdalam ilmu agama karena lebih utama. Namun tidak mengabaikan ilmu dunia untuk dipelajari. Hal ini tentu sangat relevan diterapkan oleh peserta didik MAN 1 Langkat yang menginginkan peserta didik memiliki etika yang baik dalam kehidupan dan cerdas akademis.

Abstract

Efforts to improve connected skills through Zoom Meeting learning models for MTs students. Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah Private. 1). Grade IX MTs students. Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah Private who obtain learning by using the Zoom Meeting learning model approach shows that the understanding of the Qur'anic material of the Hadith is significantly better than that of students who get regular learning. This can be seen from the average score of the connected ability of students in the study of the Qur'anic Hadith; 2). Connected ability of IX grade MTs students. Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah Private can be done by applying the Learning Zoom Meeting model; 3). There is a significant relationship between the improvement of connected skills through the Learning Zoom Meeting model in MTs. Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah Private. 4). The attitude of students during the learning of the Qur'an the Hadith looks good, namely students have the enthusiasm to participate in classroom learning activities, students look more enthusiastic in learning and communication activities that occur during the learning process in the classroom runs effectively, as the communication runs two directions, namely from teacher to student and vice versa from students to teachers; 5). Activities of students who get learning using learning models Zoom Meeting is more active in learning in class and students who get the application of learning models Zoom Meeting is more active in improving students' connected skills, and also students are more daring to ask or ask questions to teachers, and be more creative in solve the problem given, so the connected ability of MTs students. Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah Private can be improved through the application of the Zoom Meeting model.

Abstract

This study examines Abdurrahman Wahid’s (Gus Dur) ideas on multicultural education and their relevance to Islamic education in Indonesia. Through a literature review of his writings and speeches, the research finds that Gus Dur promoted an inclusive, tolerant, and culturally grounded Islam known as Islam Nusantara. He emphasized that education should foster mutual respect, empathy, and peaceful coexistence across religious and cultural differences. His rejection of exclusivist interpretations and advocacy for local cultural integration position his thought as a strong foundation against intolerance and radicalism. Gus Dur’s ideas remain highly relevant for building a tolerant and humanistic Islamic education today. Penelitian ini mengkaji pemikiran Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) tentang pendidikan multikultural dan relevansinya bagi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Melalui studi pustaka atas tulisan dan pidatonya, ditemukan bahwa Gus Dur mengusung Islam inklusif dan toleran yang dikenal sebagai Islam Nusantara. Ia menekankan pentingnya pendidikan yang menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai, empati, dan hidup damai dalam keberagaman. Penolakannya terhadap tafsir tunggal dan dukungannya terhadap budaya lokal menjadikan gagasannya relevan untuk melawan intoleransi dan radikalisme. Pemikiran Gus Dur menjadi landasan penting dalam membangun pendidikan Islam yang manusiawi dan toleran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep adab dalam pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali dan implikasinya terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa di era kontemporer. Kajian dilakukan melalui metode studi pustaka terhadap karya-karya klasik seperti Ihya’ Ulumuddin, Bidayatul Hidayah, dan Minhajul ‘Abidin, serta referensi kontemporer terkait pendidikan Islam dan karakter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa adab menurut Al-Ghazali mencakup enam aspek utama: niat yang ikhlas, rendah hati terhadap guru, sabar dalam belajar, menjaga hati dari penyakit spiritual, menghormati sesama, dan ketekunan. Nilai-nilai ini terbukti relevan dalam menjawab krisis karakter siswa masa kini. Integrasi konsep adab ke dalam sistem pendidikan modern dapat memperkuat karakter spiritual, etis, dan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi konseptual dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam yang kontekstual dan transformatif. This study aims to explore the concept of adab in Imam Al-Ghazali’s thought and its implications for student character development in the contemporary era. Using a literature review method, the study examines classical works such as Ihya’ Ulumuddin, Bidayatul Hidayah, and Minhajul ‘Abidin, alongside modern references on Islamic and character education. The analysis reveals six core aspects of adab in Al-Ghazali’s view: sincere intention, humility towards teachers, patience in learning, guarding the heart, respect for peers, and perseverance. These values remain highly relevant in addressing today’s student character crisis. Integrating Al-Ghazali’s adab into modern education can foster students’ spiritual, ethical, and social character. This research contributes both conceptually and practically to the contextual and transformative development of Islamic character education.
