Abstract

Belawan Port plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s maritime logistics chain, yet its business administration system continues to face inefficiencies due to fragmented digital infrastructure and poor inter-agency coordination. This study aims to analyze the current administrative challenges at Belawan Port and propose strategies for optimizing business processes through digital transformation and stakeholder integration. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and documentation analysis in 2024. Informants included stakeholders from Pelindo, PT Belawan New Container Terminal, Customs, Quarantine, and logistics companies. Thematic analysis revealed three major challenges: incomplete digitization of the Terminal Operating System (TOS), persistent administrative bottlenecks due to manual validation, and a lack of cross-agency collaboration. Despite a year-on-year increase in freight volume and container throughput, the average ship clearance time also rose from 7 hours to 8–10 hours, indicating that operational growth is not supported by administrative efficiency. The study proposes three strategic solutions: development of a unified Single Submission Platform, institutional coordination through joint task forces, and capacity building for digital literacy among port workers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the financial performance of  PT. Royal Prima Tbk for the 2019-2022 period using the Return On Aset and Return On Equity ratios and to provide evidence that the Return On Assets and Return On Equity methods are effectively use in assessing financial performance at PT. Royal Prima Tbk for the 2019-2022 period. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive analysis, namely by collecting,clarifying, analyzing and interpreting data obtained from the company so that it can provide a picture of the actual situation. Result from financial performance research ata PT. Royal Prima Tbk for the 2019-2022 period is said to be not good, because the average value of Return On Asset and Return On Equity is less than the industri average standard. Therefore, PT. Abstract

By following the times, companies provide electronic services (e-service quality). E-service quality or electronic service can be defined as an interactive service offered by service providers, which aims to strengthen the relationship between consumers and service providers. The quality of service of a company is needed to meet the increasingly diverse needs of society. Therefore, entrepreneurs make new innovations to provide the best quality of service. One company that implements online-based service innovations is the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) company PT PLN (Persero). PT PLN created a service model in the form of an application called PLN Mobile to make it easier for customers to meet their information needs and interactions with PLN.This study aims to determine the effect of E-quality of service on customer satisfaction of PLN mobile application users of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Perbaungan customers. The population of this study was 1,151 households of electricity meter users using the Slovin sampling formula, obtained a sample size of 43 samples who had downloaded the PLN mobile application in PlayStore. Then for the analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis and data processing using SPSS software version 20. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that E-Service Quality (Efficient and reliable service, Fullfilment, Security / trust, Site aesthetics, Responsiveness / contact, Ease of use) simultaneously has a significant influence on Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Performance (work achievement) is the result of work in terms of quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities given. Research Objectives: To determine and analyze the influence of workload and work environment on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Adolina Perbaungan. The results of this research are simultaneous testing of the variables Workload (X1), Work Environment (X2) and Employee Performance (Y). Based on table 13 above, the calculated F value is 15,873 with a significance value of 0.000. From this data, because the F-calculated value (15,873) is above the F-table value (3.91), it can be concluded that the two independent variables, namely Work Load (X1) and Work Environment (X2) have a great influence on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance. (Y) PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Adolina Perbaungan. Conclusion: Workload has a negative and significant effect on the performance of PT employees. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Adolina Perbaungan. Abstract

This research aims to determine and analiyze the Altman Z-Score mothod in assessing the level of bankruptcy PT. Cahaya Medan Tbk for The 2018- 2021 period and to provide evidence that the altman Z-score method is effectively used in assessing the level of company bankruptcy with a relatively reliable level of precision and accuracy at PT.Cahaya Bintang Medan Tbk for the 2018-2021 period. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive analysis, namely by collecting, clarifying, analyzing and interpreting data obtained from the company so that it can provide a picture of the actual situatuin the calculation technique used in this reseatch is the Altman Z-Score model formula. Based on the results of calculations using the modified Altman Z-Score method from the 2018-2021 period, it shows that PT. Cahaya Bintang Medan Tbk is in the safe zone or safe because the average Z-Score value is above 2,60 or Z2,60

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how employee performance at the Medan Polonia Pratama Tax Service Office is affected by organizational culture, stress at work, and job satisfaction in part and simultaneously. The exploration was directed at the Medan Polonia Pratama Expense Administration Office, Jalan Sukamulia No. 17A Medan, with a population of 111 individuals and an examination test of 53 individuals. Information assortment was completed through meetings, polls and documentation. The information investigation method utilized is numerous relapse examinations involving the IMB Insights for Item and Administration Arrangement (SPSS) PC program variant 25. In view of the consequences of the examination, it is found that hierarchical culture significantly affects the presentation of workers in the Medan Polonia Pratama Duty Administration Office. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture, communication and job satisfaction partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office. The research was conducted at the Binjai Primary Tax Service Office Jalan Jambi No.1, West Rambung, South Binjai., Binjai City, North Sumatra Province, postal code 20722, with a population of 101 people, and a research sample of 50 people. Data collection was carried out by interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using the IMB Statistics for Product and Service Solution (SPSS) computer program version 24. Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office, this is supported by the results of the analysis t count > t-table (2.106 > 2.014) at n = 50 at the 95% significance level. Communication has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office employees, this is supported by the analysis of t count > t-table (8.186 > 2.014) at n = 50 at a significance level of 95%. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office, this is supported by the analysis of t count > t-table (4.107 > 2.014) at n = 50 with a significance level of 95%. The F-count value > F table (50.249 > 2.81), this states that together (multiple) there is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture, communication and job satisfaction on the performance of the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office employees. Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted as true.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the likelihood of bankruptcy in companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2022 period using the Altman Z-Score method. This study applies a quantitative approach and descriptive research. The sample used consisted of 16 companies in the food and beverage subsector selected through purposive sampling techniques based on certain criteria. The analysis results show that most companies have been in the safe zone category for three consecutive years, indicating they have good financial condition and are not at risk of bankruptcy in the near future. Only a small number of companies that were in the gray zone have successfully shown improvement and returned to the safe category. Not a single company was classified as having difficulty. These findings demonstrate the resilience of the food and beverage sector in the face of economic pressures, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik individu dan lingkungan kerja secara parsial dan secara bersamaan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian dilakukan di Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Sumatera Utara Jalan Ngalengko No.1, Perintis, Kecamatan Medan Timur, Kota Medan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, kode pos 20236, dengan populasi sebanyak 76 orang, dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 74 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan program komputer IMB Statistik for Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 24. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh karakteristik individu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Sumatera Utara, hal ini didukung hasil analisis t hitung > t-tabel (8,561 > 1,994) pada n = 74 pada taraf signifikansi 95%. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Sumatera Utara, hal ini didukung analisis t hitung > t-tabel (3,642 > 1,994) pada n = 74 dengan taraf signifikan 95%. Nilai F-hitung > F tabel (174,154 > 3,13) hal ini menyatakan bahwa secara bersama-sama (multiple) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan karakteristik individu dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima kebenarannya.
