Abstract

This aim is to find out the Effect of Occupational Safety and Health and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at PT Bahari Internasional Mandiri Medan. The sampling technique used is the total sampling method because the population in this company is 51 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive method and quantitative method. The results of this study indicate that the variable occupational safety and health (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bahari Internasional Mandiri Medan Job satisfaction variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bahari Internasional Mandiri Medan and the variables of occupational safety and health and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Bahari International Mandiri Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work attitudes and leadership styles on employee performance at the Belawan Customs and Excise Office. A positive work attitude and effective leadership style are considered key factors in improving employee performance in an office environment. The research method uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to employees at the Belawan Customs and Excise Office. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques and regression to measure the relationship between work attitude variables, leadership style and employee performance. The research results show that a positive work attitude has a significant influence on employee performance. Apart from that, an effective leadership style also has a positive contribution to employee performance at the Belawan Customs and Excise Office. These findings provide further understanding about the importance of creating a Leadership Style that supports positive work attitudes and implementing an effective leadership style to increase employee productivity and quality of performance. The recommendations of this research include the need to develop training programs to increase positive work attitudes and promote supportive leadership styles in the Belawan Customs and Excise Office Leadership Style. In addition, further research can be conducted to explore additional factors that may influence employee performance

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of the work incentives on employee performance. How does workload affect employee performance. How the incentives and workload affect employee performance. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of the work incentives on employee performance. To know and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance. To know and analyze the influence of the incentives and workload on employee performance. The sample in this study amounted to 40 employees. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study explain the incentives variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Workload variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Incentives and workload have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research is limited to Conflict and Work Stress, especially regarding the work targets implemented and also Work Stress given by PT. Telkom Witel Medan has not been able to improve Employee Performance. The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the influence of Conflict and Work Stress on Employee Permormance at PT. Telkom Witel Medan. The pupose of this research is to determine the effect of Conflict and Work Stress on Employee Performance at PT. Telkom Witel Medan. The population in this study was 40 employees. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The testing method uses SPSS. Based on the test results and analysis, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of Conflict and Work Stress variables on Employee Performance variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and price on loyalty of Telkomsel Internet Data Package users in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UISU Medan. The population of this study were 160 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UISU Management. Study Program, sampling using the Slovin formula obtained a sample size of 62 samples and allocated to each stratum using the proportional random sampling formula, the data was analyzed using the SPSS 20 program. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the brand image variable has a significant effect on user loyalty while the price variable has no significant effect on user loyalty, brand image and price have a significant effect on user loyaltys performance

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of the TikTok application as an educational medium in the era of Generation Z. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study are Generation Z, with the object being the use of the TikTok application as an educational medium. Data were collected through interviews with several students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT). The study focuses on three aspects: first, the types of TikTok content frequently viewed by Generation Z; second, the benefits of utilizing TikTok as an educational medium for Generation Z. The insights gained from this article provide a new perspective on how TikTok can be leveraged as an educational tool for Generation Z to acquire new learning knowledge and as a platform for disseminating educational content.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a common psychological complication among Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients, influencing their glycemic control. Stress-related hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, elevated during anxiety episodes, can disrupt glucose metabolism, contributing to hyperglycemia. Purpose: This study investigates the relationship between anxiety levels and blood glucose control in DM patients at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 130 DM patients selected through purposive sampling. Anxiety levels were assessed using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), while glycemic control was measured using HbA1c. Descriptive statistics summarized the demographic data, and Pearson correlation analysis evaluated the relationship between anxiety and blood glucose levels. Results: The sample comprised predominantly females (55.4%), with 42.3% aged between 31–50 years. The mean anxiety score was 24.5 (±8.6), while the mean HbA1c level was 8.2% (±1.4). A statistically significant positive correlation (r = 0.45, p < 0.01) was found between anxiety levels and HbA1c, indicating that higher anxiety corresponds with poorer glycemic control. Conclusion: The findings emphasize the significant influence of anxiety on blood glucose levels in DM patients. Addressing anxiety through integrated psychological and medical interventions could improve glycemic outcomes. Holistic DM management strategies should include anxiety reduction techniques to enhance overall health and reduce complications.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra. The population in this study was all lecturers' performance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra, totaling 50 people and sampling was carried out using census sampling so that 50 people were used as samples. This research method uses quantitative. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra, and job satisfaction and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to determine partially and simultaneously the effect of work discipline and work behavior on employee performance at PTPN 1 Regional 1 Tanjung Morawa. This research method is quantitative. Data was collected through direct interviews and the distribution of questionnaires. The population consists of 222 employees, and the sampling technique is the Slovin formula with a standard error of 10%, so that the sample obtained is 69 people. This data analysis is a multiple linear regression analysis tested through SPSS. Based on the test results and analysis obtained, namely simultaneously, there is a positive and significant influence of work discipline and work behavior on employee performance at PTPN 1 Regional 1 Tanjung Morawa. Then, work discipline and work behavior each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PTPN 1 Regional 1 Tanjung Morawa.
