Abstract

Penerapan materi oleh guru melalui penyelesaian soal menjadi fokus dalam model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan signifikan dalam hasil belajar antara penggunaan model CRH dengan model konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dan data dikumpulkan melalui teka-teki silang serta essai. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji N-Gain, termasuk uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan uji skor N-Gain, prestasi belajar siswa mencapai 62,95%, yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik”. Normalitas data diuji dengan metode Shapiro-Wilk dan hasilnya menunjukkan distribusi data yang normal. Selain itu, uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene Statistics menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0,514 > 0,05, menunjukkan data tersebut homogen. Hasil uji t sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, yaitu 22,809 > 0,000, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa yang menggunakan model CRH dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan dibandingkan siswa yang diajar dengan model konvensional pada materi fisika tentang pesawat sederhana di kelas VIII MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Dengan model pembelajaran CRH, siswa menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik menunjukkan bahwa metode ini dapat dianggap lebih efektif dalam menyampaikan materi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a Physics textbook at the upper secondary level that reflects the values of Islamic education. The development of this physics book is also enrichment material using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) approach model. In developing the learning materials, 5 physics teachers were involved for five high schools in Aceh Besar, where 10 students were taken per school for a total of 50 students. At the analysis stage, researchers use self-evaluation to ensure the feasibility of the analysis. Apart from that, prototype II was also developed in the form of several chapters involving one religious lecturer. Furthermore, these chapters were tested directly on all students to see the students' cognitive and behavioral mastery over the centuries and whether their attitudes reflected correct Islamic values and were in accordance with the religious demands of being a Muslim. The results of the research show that: (1) the development of Islamic-based physics material can build students' cognitive and affective domains which are characterized by good behavior and mutual respect, (2) Physics books with an Islamic character curriculum make students appear polite and confident, (3) Teachers as curriculum developers and implementers feel responsible for taking anticipatory steps so that physics books in schools can truly reflect Islamic values as a whole, both in terms of validity and practicality.

Dengan model pembelajaran CRH, siswa menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik menunjukkan bahwa metode ini dapat dianggap lebih efektif dalam menyampaikan materi.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy in physics are still lacking which is dominated by teachers and is always considered difficult by SMA Negeri 1 Blangkejeren students, The purpose of this study was to determine the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Quizizz learning models can improve students' problem solving skills on momentum and impulse material. The method used in this research is the Quasy experiment method with a quantitative approach and the research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was carried out by giving a pretest-posttest class. By cluster random sampling techniques, so the samples determined were class X. The number of samples per class is 27 students. The research measurement tools used in the study were RPP and LKPD that had been prepared containing several steps of the CTL learning model that were to be realized in the teaching and learning process as well as test questions to obtain data related to the results of students' problem-solving abilities. The tests that were prepared in the form of questions included 13 questions based on ability indicators based on Bloom's Taxonomy including C1 (understanding) to C5 (evaluating). The test data provided were the average pre-test and post-test scores CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning with Quizizz evaluation media provides better results than using conventional learning models, with game-shaped questions and scores making SMA Negeri 1 Blangkejeren students compete to get better scores.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes and interests of students with the use of PhET Simulation media through a multiple- representation approach to motion concept. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a one group pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were taken using a random sampling technique involving 45 grade XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Banda Aceh. The research data was obtained from learning outcomes and student interest questionnaires. Data analysis using a gain test. Based on the results of the study, student learning outcomes were obtained with an average value of multiple representation in verbal, mathematical, graphic formats, and experienced a significant increase. While the overall student interest in learning is in the good category. This study can make students happy, interested, and have attention and direct involvement in the learning process so that it can be suggested to teachers or related parties to consider the use of PhET Simulation through a multi-representation approach in the physics teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to improve problem solving abilities using project-based animated videos at SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Baro. Sampling in this research used a saturated sampling technique with the research sample consisting of 20 class XI Science students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) development method with a 4D model. Data on problem solving abilities was collected through tests in the form of essay questions.Analysis of problem solving abilities was tested statistically, namely the N-Gain test, and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of research on problem solving abilities obtained an average pre-test score (57.7) and post-test (86.05) with an average N-Gain of 0.67 in the medium category. The results of hypothesis testing in the Paired Sample T-Test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, thus these results state that hypothesis testing in the research shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of the research is that the use of project-based animated videos can improve the problem-solving abilities of class XI Science students at SMAN 1 Kuta Baro on Sound Waves material.

Abstract

Secara geografis dunia, wilayah Aceh Besar terletak pada lempeng tektonik Euro-Asia dan Australia-India. Daerah pada pusaran lingkaran cincin gunung berapi (ring of fire). Kondisi geografis tersebut menyebabkan sering erupsinya gunung berapi. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan salah satu visi misi pendidikan fisika di Universitas Abulyatama. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 30 Desember 2024 terhadap 25 anak-anak yang ada di Gampong Ie Seuum. Tujuannya untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap anak-anak di Gampong Ie Seuum tentang mitigasi bencana meletusnya gunung berapi yang tinggal di kawasan lereng gunung Seulawah Agam yang terdapat di Kab. Aceh Besar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode sosialisasi dan demontrasi dengan menampilkan vidio tentang bagaimana proses terjadinya letusan gunung berapi. sehingga masyarakat sudah memiliki bekal pengetahuan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu (1) Peserta sosialisasi memahami langkah-langkah mitigasi bencana gunung berapi. Peserta memperoleh pengetahuan tambahan mengenai proses terjadinya letusan gunung berapi, (2) Anak-anak di Gampong Ie Seuum menunjukkan semangat belajar yang lebih tinggi ketika menggunakan media pembelajaran. (3) Pemerintah desa mengapresiasi terkait kegiatan pengabdian ini dan berharap agar terus dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan, (4) Masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi potensi bencana alam, dan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap materi yang disampaikan, sehingga sosialisasi berlangsung dengan baik, dan (5) Program pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengetahuan gunung berapi, erupsi, kandungannya, dan mitigasi bencana secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Preservice teachers must have a good understanding of Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (PCK) to improve their performance in science teaching. This study aims to evaluate the effect of preservice training for preservice Biology teachers on improving PCK understanding. The research method used is one group pre-test post-test design with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is Biology Education Department students of the teacher training and Education Faculty, while the sample consisted of 30 students selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a test, to determine the mastery of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). The test instrument in the form of descriptive test questions (pre-test and post-test) is used to determine the mastery of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) skills of prospective teachers before and after learning. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that students’ post-test scores for content knowledge and pedagogy were higher than the pre-test. In conclusion, the implementation of pre-service training for prospective Biology teachers significantly improves their understanding of PCK. Therefore, this pre-service training is essential to develop PCK that can be used in designing learning experiences that follow specific pedagogy and content.

Abstract

The number of child smokers currently continues to increase. So prevention must be carried out by providing education from an early age. The purpose of this service is to provide education to gain knowledge for the children of Ie Seuum Village, Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province regarding the dangers of smoking and marijuana abuse. The method used is lectures and discussions using PowerPoint slides. The activities carried out include children in Ie Seuum Village gaining knowledge about the dangers of smoking and marijuana abuse including various types of cigarettes and marijuana, the dangerous chemical content of cigarettes and marijuana, chronic diseases caused by smoking and marijuana abuse, and the risk of disability. life and death, and the basis of state and religious laws regarding cigarettes and marijuana. Children responded well to educational activities, understood the material presented, were interested in the pictures displayed, asked questions about the dangers of smoking and marijuana and answered questions from educational presenters.
