Abstract

The use of antibiotics in the community massively trigger resistance to bacteria, to that need for research on other alternatives, especially herbal medicine as an antibacterial. One of the medicinal plants are cucumbers that are widely available in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to scientifically prove the antibacterial activity of chloroform fraction cucumber extract against Staphylococcus epidermidis. Extraction cucumber done by maceration, then extract fractionated with chloroform. The fraction was used the concentration of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. Then tested the antibacterial power and determination of the MIC. Results of test antibacterial of the extract chloroform of cucumber against S. epidermidis showed a zone of inhibition at concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% diameter respectively 5.86 mm, 6.5 mm, 7.05 mm, 7.43 mm, and 9.92 mm, in addition to it tested the determination of minimum inhibitory concentration, minimum inhibitory concentrations of chloroform fraction extract cucumber fruit against S. epidermidis is at a concentration of 3%. The results obtained from the culture media growth on NA which means the fraction of the chloroform extract of cucumber in 3% is bacteriostatic.

Abstract

This research examines the interactions of members and the lesbian community in Langsa City, an area in Aceh that implements Islamic law in Indonesia. This research uses Ervin Goffman's dramaturgical theory. The research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Collecting data by conducting in-depth and regular interviews with four lesbian people. Their appearance in public is a very taboo phenomenon in this area, and this condition is a challenge for lesbians to establish communication with society so that their existence can be accepted. Important findings in this research show how members of the lesbian community develop communication and interactions very carefully, using more symbolic language when they are in public places. The symbols or signals used by the lesbian community to communicate are very specific when in public places, namely, starting from the way they dress, the language used, and physical touch such as touching hands, glances, and eye contact

Abstract

Jatiagro farming is a tourist destination in Lampung, precisely in Jati Mulyo Village, Jati Agung District, South Lampung. Jati Agro Farming is a plantation-based tourist attraction or agro-tourism with a plant nursery area which is used as an educational tourist attraction. This service activity innovates in developing Jati Agro Farming with the addition of an Agrofarma park. Agrofarma tourism is an agricultural/plantation tourism specifically for medicinal plants, which aims to provide education to the public about medicinal plants, their processing and their properties or benefits for treating a disease. The problems with Jati Agro Farming were initially limited to Human Resources (HR) which were still lacking in terms of expertise in managing plants. Jati Agro Farming does not yet have reliable human resources in the field of crop management. So many of the medicinal plants that existed previously died. Apart from that, Jati Agro Farming does not have superior products that are different compared to similar tourism. The results of the activities in the first stage were the creation of a nursery, starting from the creation of a nursery measuring 4x5 m, made of light steel with a waring roof, then preparation of medicinal plant seeds. In previous data, Jati Agro had 19 types of medicinal plants, but many have died due to neglect and only 12 types remain, which are dominated by the most common finds. The addition of medicinal plants through community service activities in the first stage included 50 types of medicinal plant seeds and they had been labeled and identified the active compounds contained therein and their benefits for treating various diseases. Abstract

Tujuan Kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan pengetahuan serta keterampilan kepada aparat perdesaan tentang pentingnya pemetaan potensidesa yang akan dijadikan rujukan dan basis data dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan pengembangan wilayah perdesaan di masa yang akan datang. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah sistem kendali yang ditawarkan ini, akan memberikan pengendalian yang lebih teliti dan tepat adanya peningkatan kapasitas aparat desa dlam memetakan potendi yang ada di desanya masing masing yang dapat diakses dengan cepat oleh para pengambil keputusan yang ada dalam perencanaan pengembangan wilayah berbasis peta peta digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan. Tahap (1) Identifikasi kemampuan dasar, pemetaan dari aparat desa, (2) penyiapan perangkat penunjang pelatihan aparat desa, (3) demonstrasi dan pendampingan pemetaan potensi sumberdaya desa, (4) pada tahap akhir kegiatan, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Sinjai yakni Kecamatan Sinjai Barat yang terdiri atas 8 Desa.

Abstract

Kabupaten Enrekang, Sulawesi Selatan merupakan daerah yang dominasi penduduknya bekerja pada sektor pertanian dengan sektor unggulan komoditi bawang merah. Berdasarkan data dari kementrian pertanian tahun 2020, Kabupaten Enrekang saat ini menempati posisi ke-5 nasional, sebagai daerah penghasil bawang merah terbesar di Indonesia setelah Kabupaten Brebes, Nganjuk, Bima dan Solok. Namun potensi unggulan tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan tingkat kesejahteraan petani yang diakibatkan rendahnya posisi tawar petani. Faktor-faktor utama yang mengakibatkan rendahnya posisi tawar petani seperti kurangnya akses serta jaringan pasar, tertutupnya akses informasi harga pasar dan minimnya penguasaan teknologi. Program kerja ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan edukasi terhadap petani bawang mengenai masalah yang dihadapi oleh para petani sebagai bentuk pendampingan terhadap penelitian mengenai rantai nilai bawang merah. Hasil dari analisis adalah temuan studi berisi fakta-fakta di lapangan yang bermuara akhir pada sebuah kesimpulan yang merupakan jawaban tujuan kegiatan yaitu menganalisa permasalahan rantai nilai komoditas bawang di Kabupaten Enrekang nilai pemasaran di Kabupaten Enrekang, Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil pengabdian ini kemudian akan dilanjutkan sebagai penelitian oleh tim dari Teknik Industri Universitas Hasanuddin sebagai bentuk tindak lanjut dalam merumuskan model rantai nilai yang tepat.

Abstract

Currently, waste is one of the big problems faced by the Indonesian government, both in processing and reducing waste generation. As time goes by, the population in Indonesia has increased every year. Especially in Parombean village itself, with the increase in population, the amount of waste generated also increases. Therefore, we have to take care of our own environment. In this work program, it is a place to provide understanding to the community to protect our environment by processing waste generated from household activities, especially organic waste. One of the efforts to protect our environment is the utilization of organic waste, especially household waste, into compost and POC. The purpose of this activity is to increase the sense of community responsibility to protect the environment and also provide understanding to the community about how to make compost and POC from household waste. The Thematic Real Work Lecture for Wave 106 has been successfully carried out with the result of raising public awareness about the importance of keeping the environment clean and reusing organic waste into compost and POC.

Abstract

The yard is part of the house that is multifunctional and can provide positive benefits and can even support the needs of the family. One of the productive activities in the yard is to cultivate vegetables. However, most of the yards in coastal villages, such as Laikang Village, have not maximized their function and it is difficult to cultivate vegetables. As a solution, a method is needed to support plant cultivation activities in Laikang Village. This service activity aims to provide cultivation training and the manufacture of hydroponic and verticulture installations for groups of housewives in Laikang Village. This community service activity is carried out using the rapid rural appraisal (RRA) and participatory learning and action (PLA) methods, with the stages of activity in the form of presentation of material related to the theme of the activity, demonstration and direct practice by participants, mentoring, and evaluation. From the series of activities, it can be seen that the people of Laikang Village are very enthusiastic and interested in the technology introduced. This is indicated by the high level of participation and activeness of the participants. In addition, there has been a change in the behavior of the Laikang Village community to take advantage of their previously poorly maintained yard, but has now become a productive yard. This vegetable cultivation activity is also still being continued by the participants independently after the training activities, which indirectly indicates the mastery of knowledge and skills, as well as the achievement of the main goals of service activities.

Abstract

Kelompok Kerja Guru SD Gugus XVI Pante Kareung Aceh Besar merupakan salah satu gugus di Aceh Besar yang mengalami berbagai permasalahan dan kendala dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggotanya. Penyebab permasalahan dikarenakan kurangnya keterampilan digital dan media pembelajaran pada guru hingga terbatasnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan media dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan Kegiatan untuk memberdayakan mitra dengan meningkatkan kompetensi TPCK guru secara spesifik meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru melalui pendampingan berbasis in-on service. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahap meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dalam 2 langkah yaitu pelatihan dengan pola in-on-in service dan pendampingan lapangan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, latihan, dan tutorial. Peserta pada kegiatan ini berjumlah 30 guru dengan lokasi pelaksanaan di Pusat Kegiatan Guru Gugus XVI Pante Kareung. Kemampuan TPCK guru sebelum pelatihan berada pada skor 3 dan setelah pelatihan berada pada skor 4. Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berada pada rata-rata nilai 72 kategori cukup. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan TPCK guru antara sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pelatihan. Namun demikian, kemampuan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih perlu ditingkat melalui pendampingan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of Assemblr Edu based biology learning media with Augmented Reality (AR) design can affect student learning outcomes on cell division material. This research was conducted using Quasi Experimental research methods with a quantitative approach. The type of research design used to measure student learning outcomes in this study is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Learning outcome data were analyzed using the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) formula, while the hypothesis was tested using the T-Test formula in the form of Independent Sample T-Test. The population used in this study was all class XII MIA students, consisting of 3 classes. The sample was selected through the Purposive Sampling technique so that 2 classes were obtained, namely class XII-MIA 2 as an experimental class (32 students) and XII-MIA 3 as a control class (33 students). The data collection technique used is a formative test with instruments in the form of Pre-test questions and Post-test multiple-choice forms with as many as 25 items, each item is provided with five alternative answers. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of Assemblr Edu based biology learning media with Augmented Reality (AR) design can affect the improvement of student learning outcomes in the eyes of cell division material, in the low and ineffective category, so this method is not appropriate to be applied in class XII MIA SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam T.A 2023/2024

Abstract

Based on the results of the study, it was found that the characteristics of female respondents were more than that of men. Based on the age of the respondents 17-65 years, the results obtained from the analysis were more than 26-35 years old, totaling 32 respondents with a percentage of 41%. Characteristics of respondents based on private employment, self-employed, civil servants, and others were obtained with the largest number, namely other jobs with a value of 54 respondents and a percentage of 69%, characteristics based on education at the level of SD, SMP, SMA, Diploma, Bachelor and others. more respondents with high school level education, amounting to 39 with a percentage of 50%. Based on the sociodemographic data of BPJS respondents and in general, there were more BPJS patients, namely 56 respondents with a percentage of 71%. Based on the results of the analysis of the reality value and the expected value of the five dimensions of servqual reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical facilities, the average value or overall real value is 389 and the average expectation value is 391.4. The value of the service quality of the respondents from the five dimensions of servqual, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical facilities obtained an average value (-1.6), the value of the level of patient satisfaction based on the five servqual dimensions the average number was obtained (0.994), and Based on the analysis of the level of patient satisfaction with the pharmacy installation service at the Islamic Center Hospital, Kotaagung Tanggamus, the reality value is obtained from the five servqual dimensions with an average value of 389.
