Abstract

Life in this world is filled with various kinds of experiences that have been determined by Allah SWT in the book Lauhul Mahfudz. Every event, whether pleasant or sad, is a manifestation of divine destiny that cannot be changed. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis and floods that often hit our nation are part of His will and power. This belief in destiny provides calm and prevents a believer from feeling frustrated and arrogant. Death, birth, fortune, soul mate, as well as happiness and misery have been determined according to His provisions which are unknown to humans. Therefore, understanding qadha and qadar is very important in everyday life. True faith includes six pillars of faith, including belief in God's destiny, both good and bad. Misunderstandings about destiny can damage a person's faith. Through this discussion, we want to explore the concept of qadha and qadar and its implementation in everyday life, as a step towards becoming a devout servant and achieving the highest goal in Islam: seeing Allah and becoming a resident of heaven.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Sungai Ular Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, aims to develop community potential through three main focuses: religious moderation, empowerment of digital technology-based MSMEs, and stunting prevention. Through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, KKN activities involve the community directly in the process of social and economic improvement. The religious moderation program has succeeded in deepening understanding of religion, increasing tolerance, and strengthening relations between religious communities through activities such as Maghrib Koran Recitation, Wirit for Mothers, and Wirit for Youth. Empowerment of MSMEs, especially in the palm sugar sector, is carried out by providing digital marketing training and promotional support through e-commerce platforms to expand markets and increase income. The stunting prevention program provides education to the public regarding the importance of balanced nutrition, reproductive health, and the impact of early marriage on stunting. The results of implementing this KKN show increased community awareness and sustainability in local economic development and public health, which has the potential to reduce the prevalence of stunting and improve the quality of life in Sungai Ular Village.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi berbagai metode pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keyakinan dan toleransi antar beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi fenomenologi kualitatif-deskriptif. Data primer diambil dari wawancara dengan guru pendidikan agama islam, sedangkan data skunder diambil dari artikel jurnal, buku, dan penelitian sebelumnya yang berkaitan dengan judul. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah merangkum atau mengurangi data, serta menyajikan data dalam bentuk narasi agar lebih mudah dipahami dan diambil kesimpulannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya keyakinan yang kuat dalam agama masing-masing dan menumbuhkan rasa toleransi terhadap orang-orang dari agama lain. Penerapan nilai-nilai akhlak yang diajarkan dalam pelajaran ini membantu menciptakan lingkungan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti lebih mengunggulkan metode keteladanan. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan berkontribusi pada pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih efisien yang meningkatkan keyakinan dan meningkatkan toleransi antar umat beragama.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze inclusive teaching strategies as a reinforcement of religious moderation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Teluk Nibung Subdistrict. In the context of inclusive education, where students with diverse backgrounds and learning needs are taught together, this study focuses on the development of teaching methods that support religious moderation within the school environment. A qualitative research approach was employed to collect data through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and school staff, and analysis of documents related to the curriculum and inclusive teaching guidelines. The research findings indicate that inclusive teaching in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Teluk Nibung Subdistrict, has significantly contributed to religious moderation among students. Inclusive teaching strategies, such as cooperative learning, formative assessment, and curriculum adjustments, enable students from different religious backgrounds to learn together by understanding and respecting their differences. Furthermore, the active role of teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment strengthens religious moderation, reduces inter-religious tensions, and enhances religious understanding. This research provides in-depth insights into how inclusive teaching strategies can play a role as a reinforcement of religious moderation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. These findings offer valuable perspectives for the development of inclusive education and the cultivation of religious moderation within the school environment. Additionally, they serve as a foundation for further research in broader contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the routine tahsin Qur’an program before learning in MIS Kuba and the students' responses to the habituation process. The habituation activities include reading repetition, tajwid improvement, and enhancing students' spiritual character, such as discipline and love for the Qur’an. The results show that the habituation before tahsin Qur’an learning has a significant positive impact, with most students showing improvement in reading the Qur’an with correct tajwid. Students' responses were very positive, with many feeling helped and more confident in reading the Qur’an. However, some students still struggled with pronouncing certain letters. This study contributes to the development of tahsin Qur’an learning methods, especially in emphasizing the importance of habituation before starting more in-depth tahsin learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ perceptions of the development of Integrated Social Studies (IPS) Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on social and religious values in State Elementary School 152979 Pandan 1. The study is grounded in the importance of integrating character values into Social Studies learning to support the formation of the Pancasila Student Profile. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, supported by quantitative data from a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire, in-depth interviews, and a document review of the LKPD. The research subjects were 10 teachers involved in Social Studies instruction. The questionnaire instrument comprised four dimensions: the urgency and benefits of value-based LKPD, ease of development and implementation, availability of support, and impact on students’ attitudes, interests, and social interactions. The findings revealed that the “impact on students” dimension scored the highest (3.90), followed by “urgency and benefits” (3.85), “ease of development and implementation” (3.10), and “availability of support” (2.75). Teachers believe that value-based LKPD is effective in improving students’ learning motivation, social skills, and positive attitudes, although technical constraints and limited institutional support remain challenges. The study recommends continuous training, provision of relevant references, and strengthening teacher collaboration to ensure the sustainability of value-based LKPD implementation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Aqidah education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of a Muslim, particularly in understanding the concepts of qadha and qadar. Both are the sixth articles of faith that teach belief in Allah SWT's decree. However, modern challenges such as secularism and materialism hinder the instillation of this understanding. Therefore, relevant and effective educational strategies are needed to develop a profound understanding of qadha and qadar. This includes a holistic approach that involves the roles of parents, educators, and the social environment, as well as the integration of experiential learning methods. Through this approach, it is hoped that a comprehensive and applicable understanding of qadha and qadar can be realized in daily life. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai Pandangan Paham Kontemporer Keagamaan di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi literatur dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan berbagai macam informasi dan mempelejari berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan Pandangan Paham Kontemporer Keagamaan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa paham-paham kontemporer keagamaan cukup beragam di indonesia. Yang hal ini tidak menjadikan perbedaan satu dengan yang lainnya melainkan menjadi jembatan untuk saling menghormati dan saling menghargai satu sama lain.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Imam al-Ghazali's thoughts on character education, character education materials, and character education methods as stated by al-Ghazali in his book entitled Ayyuhal Walad. This research is motivated by the widespread news that shows the weakening of students' morals and characters, such as brawls, bullying, crime, and even drug abuse. As a result, education, which basically has one of its objectives to shape the morals of students, is required to provide solutions to the weakening of students' morals and characters. Character education is needed to answer all existing problems by continuing to develop and improve materials and methods so that it can achieve the main goal of creating students who are morally upright. The process of developing and improving character education can be done by analyzing the thoughts of scholars who have a concern about character and morals, one of whom is al-Ghazali in his book entitled ayyuhal walad. This research uses a qualitative research method with the type of library research or library research which makes the book ayyuhal walad as the primary data source and books, journals, and relevant research as secondary sources. The results of this study show that in creating akhlakul karimah in students, it is necessary to instill the purification of intention, a sense of solidarity, hard work, simplicity, and brotherhood.

Abstract

The Mu'tazilah school is one of the schools of Islamic theology that has a significant influence on the history of Islamic thought. The beginning of the emergence of the Mu'tazilah school is rooted in theological problems regarding the law for perpetrators of major sins. The Mu'tazilah school states that perpetrators of major sins are in the middle between believers and infidels. In its historical development, this school emerged in the city of Basrah and reached its peak during the Abbasid Dynasty. The writing in this journal uses a qualitative content analysis method with a literature study approach. The purpose of this writing is to examine in depth the history of the development of the Mu'tazilah since its inception. This study will also identify the main figures who played a role in the process of forming and developing the ideology of this school as well as an analysis of the school of faith that is adhered to and groups that are in conflict with this school as well as the contribution of the Mu'tazilah to the study of Islamic thought, especially in the fields of kalam and philosophy.
