Abstract

This research contains the collaboration between PAI teachers and homeroom teachers in handling students' disciplinary character problems at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut. Collaboration is something that is done together with the same goal and is mutually beneficial. With cooperation, work will be completed quickly and problems will be resolved immediately, as at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut, there is collaboration between PAI teachers and homeroom teachers in dealing with students' disciplinary character problems. Problems with the disciplinary character of students at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut, for example, include students not doing the homework given by the teacher, not respecting their friends, coming late to school, leaving early. This, of course, must immediately find a solution. The aim of this research is to describe the form of collaboration between PAI teachers and homeroom teachers in handling students' disciplinary character problems at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research that discusses a clear picture of the state of the problems in the field. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique in this research uses data reduction, data visualization, verification and conclusions, data validity and data reliability. Based on the research results, there are three forms of collaboration between PAI teachers and homeroom teachers in handling students' disciplinary character problems at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut, namely: 1). Internal meetings, 2).Home Visit (home visit), 3). Invite competent institutions. Problems with the disciplinary character of students at SDN 1 Sukatani Cilawu Garut include: 1). Being late for class, 2). Coming home from school early, 3). Wearing a less neat uniform, 4). There are students who wear sandals, 5). Students do not do class picket assignments, 6). Abstract

This research is motivated by the cognitive abilities of children with special needs at Al-Mashduqi Special School (SLB) for categories B, C, D, and G in Garut. The categories of special needs at Al-Mashduqi SLB include B (hearing impaired), C (intellectually disabled), D (physically disabled), and G (multiple disabilities). Observational findings indicate that children with special needs exhibit varying cognitive abilities in line with their specific challenges. The objectives of this study are: to describe the cognitive abilities of children with special needs at Al-Mashduqi SLB; to explore the application of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and moral education material for these children; and to examine how these educational materials enhance the cognitive abilities of children with special needs at Al-Mashduqi SLB. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data sources are both primary and secondary. Primary data include information from informants, observations of the learning process, and other written materials. Secondary sources consist of books and other materials directly related to the research. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity and reliability of the data are ensured through triangulation techniques involving observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and moral education material has effectively enhanced the cognitive abilities of children with special needs in categories B, C, D, and G at Al-Mashduqi SLB. These enhancements reach levels C1, C2, and C3, as measured through formative tests. The delivery of PAI and moral education materials has made students more active and enabled them to achieve learning objectives and outcomes effectively, meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Abstract

The concept of education is often used in a way that is not in accordance with the conditions of educators and students in Indonesia. Therefore, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Anwar Makarim implemented the Merdeka Curriculum as a solution to this problem. This independent curriculum is more flexible to support learning recovery caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and to catch up with Indonesia's education compared to other countries. This independent curriculum has something unique, namely differentiated learning, which consists of four elements, namely teaching materials, processes, products, and learning environments. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of differentiated learning of teaching materials from the perspective of Islamic education science. Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The data collection technique used is literature research, and the data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The results showed that differentiated learning of teaching materials in the independent curriculum is a learning process that adapts teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom according to the interests, talents, and learning readiness of students. . In the study of Islamic Education, differentiated learning of teaching materials is in line with Islamic education, as contained in the Qur'an letter Al-Maidah verse 48 regarding anti-discrimination in education, as well as the content of letter At-Taubah verse 122 that requires a learner to explore a material. The alignment of differentiated learning of teaching materials with the concept of Islamic education is also seen in the suitability of educational components. Differentiated learning of teaching materials can create a more holistic educational environment, responsive to student diversity, and in accordance with Islamic values.  Keywords: Independent curriculum, differentiated learning, teaching materials, Islamic Education.

Abstract

Motivation is a crucial factor in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning activities; however, current phenomena indicate that the percentage of students' learning motivation is still below 50%. Given this fact, the low level of students' learning motivation can certainly hinder the learning process. Therefore, non-cognitive diagnostic assessment becomes one of the efforts to determine students' motivation levels at the beginning of the learning activities. This can help diagnose students' initial conditions, serving as a basis for developing lesson plans to be implemented in the classroom. This study aims to describe the impact of applying non-cognitive diagnostic assessment on students' learning motivation in PAI subject for Phase D at SMPN 1 Karangtengah Garut with the "Mandiri Berbagi" independent curriculum type. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection methods used are observation, documentation study, and questionnaires. The research subjects consist of 32 students in Phase D. The results show that non-cognitive diagnostic assessment significantly affects students' learning motivation in Phase D by 21.3% and falls within the interval of 0.20 – 0.39, which is categorized as "Low." Abstract

This study discusses the improvement of students' learning motivation in Akidah Akhlak learning using formative assessment. The low level of learning motivation is the main reason this research was conducted. The observation results show that only about 21% of 33 students are classified as good in learning. Therefore, an interesting evaluation stimulus or learning assessment test is needed, one of which is by using formative assessment. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of formative assessment in increasing the learning motivation of students in learning Akidah akhlak phase D at MTs Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used simple statistical analysis to calculate the average value and percentage of learning completeness. In cycle I, there was an increase of 52%, and in cycle II it increased again to 87%. Overall, the increase in learning motivation from pre-cycle to cycle II reached 66%.         Keywords: Learning Motivation, Formative Assessment, Akidah Akhlak Learning.

Abstract

Learning Moral Creeds in madrasas is one of the important subjects to instill a positive influence on the application of morals in madrasas. One of the causes of students' lack of understanding of moral values ​​is the lack of variation in learning methods. The current problem of globalization makes it difficult for children to apply good morals, whether morals towards Allah, morals towards others and morals towards nature. This research aims to describe the influence of varied methods in the Aqidah Akhlak subject on the civilized values ​​(Ta'addub) of Phase D students at MTs Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. The method used in this research is descriptive with an inferential quantitative approach, so that a relationship is obtained between the Independent Variable (Variative Method) and the Dependent Variable (Civilized Values ​​(Ta'addub)). The subjects of this research were Phase D students at MTs. Al-Musaddadiyah Garut, namely 32 people. Based on statistical tests, there is an influence of varied methods on the formation of Civilized Values ​​(Ta'addub) of 87%, while other factors that influence students' Civilized Values ​​(Ta'addub) are 13% but were not examined in this research.  Keywords: Varied methods, students' civilized values ​​(ta'addub).

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is expected to be able to produce humans who always strive to perfect faith, piety and noble character which includes ethics, character or morals as a manifestation of education. A poor learning process is one of the problems in the world of education. Reflective thinking is one of the thoughts needed in the problem-solving process. The process of learning, researching, and solving problems will maximize the results if one's reflective thinking skills are good enough. The CTL model encourages learners to make connections between the knowledge they have and the application in their daily lives, so that CTL learning can get learners involved in meaningful activities and solidify the knowledge that learners have. This research focuses more on the implementation of the CTL model on the reflective ability of students in fiqh subjects. This research method uses descriptive analytical qualitative research, which is research that provides a description of factual and systematic situations and conditions regarding factors, properties, and relationships between phenomena owned to find out the basics. The results showed the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model for fiqhsubjects at MA Hidayatul Faizien Bayongbong Garut through the process of constructing in fiqh learning, encouraging students to find their own meaning (inquiry), encouraging students to know something by asking (questioning), creating a learning community, students modeling in fiqh learning, reflecting in fiqh learning, using authentic assessment in fiqh learning. Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing gender-oriented educational values ​​in Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics class 12 high school textbooks. Gender equality is an important issue that continues to be fought for, including in the context of education in Indonesia. Textbooks have a crucial role in shaping students' views and thinking patterns, so fair and equal representation is very necessary. This research aims to identify and evaluate the representation of gender equality and inequality values ​​in the textbook. The research method used is literature with a content analysis approach, which includes analysis of text illustrations, images, and material studies. This analysis was carried out to see the extent to which PAI and Budi Pekerti textbooks reflect the principles of gender equality. The results of the research show that male images and figures are more dominant than female in the textbook, even though several values ​​of gender equality are reflected. This gender inequality is seen in the use of models in inspirational texts and depictions of occupational fields, where men are more often represented in important or leadership roles. This research is expected to provide deeper insight into the integration and interpretation of gender values ​​in PAI and Budi Pekerti textbooks. It is hoped that these findings will encourage the revision of textbooks that are more balanced and responsive to gender equality issues, so that they can make a positive contribution to efforts to build a generation that is more aware and sensitive to the importance of gender equality.  Keywords: gender insight education, character and islamic religious education textbook

Abstract

This research is based on the still low level of student participation in classroom learning. One model that can enhance student participation is the Classroom Meeting Learning Model. However, initial observations revealed that the percentage of student learning activity was still below 50%. This was evident from students' inability to present their work, participate in tasks, and ask questions to peers or educators when they did not understand the issues they were facing during the Classroom Meeting learning model. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) the Classroom Meeting learning model in Islamic Education (PAI) Phase E; 2) the student learning activity in Islamic Education (PAI) Phase E; and 3) the impact of the Classroom Meeting learning model on student learning activity in Islamic Education (PAI) Phase E at SMA IT At-Ta'awun Sukaresmi Garut. This study was conducted over a period of three months. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was done through observation, documentation study, and a questionnaire filled out by 31 students who were the samples in this study, while data processing was done through statistical data analysis using linear regression. Based on the results of the data analysis regarding the Classroom Meeting learning model, the average score obtained was 4, which falls into the "Very Good" category. This indicates that the Classroom Meeting learning model has an impact on student learning activity. Meanwhile, based on the analysis of student learning activity data, the average score obtained was 3.90, which falls into the "High" category. This shows that the application of this model is an appropriate solution to enhance student learning activity. According to statistical tests, there is an effect of the Classroom Meeting learning model on student learning activity, accounting for 29.7%, which is categorized as "Low", while other factors influencing student learning activity account for 70.3%, but were not examined in this study.  Keywords: classroom meeting learning model, learning engagement, islamic religious education.

Abstract

Bullying remains a widespread phenomenon in Indonesia, including in educational settings. Observations by researchers and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers indicate that bullying has occurred at school, taking various forms. Guidance and Counseling (BK) data from school in 2024 recorded that the dominant forms of bullying were verbal (40%), relational (30%), cyberbullying (20%), and physical (10%). This situation underscores the importance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in understanding the various efforts made to address bullying in schools. This study aims to describe the forms of bullying behavior and the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming bullying behavior at school. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Both primary and secondary data sources were used. Data analysis involved four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that bullying behavior at school encompassed three forms: verbal bullying in the form of teasing, relational bullying in the form of exclusion, and cyberbullying, namely teasing on social media. Islamic Religious Education teachers addressed these issues through two approaches: preventive measures, integrating Islamic values ​​into learning, increasing religiosity through religious activities, and implementing the P5 program. Curative measures, including personal counseling, providing advice and role models, implementing educational sanctions, and collaborating with parents.
