Abstract

Tilapia aquaculture in tarpaulin ponds is a new business pursued by residents of Kramatjegu Village, East Java, since the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia. Restrictions on social activities, forcing residents to learn fish farming in a self-taught way. However, the problem that arose in the first month of cultivation was that many tilapia died and by the third month all the tilapia were gone. Lack of knowledge about fish farming techniques, lack of correction of water and feed quality, and inaccurate handling of fish problems are problems that need to be resolved. The purpose of this community service is to conduct counseling related to fish farming techniques, as well as giving work instructions (IK) to residents. While the method applied to this activity is counseling, as well as an introduction to the concept of Supplier-Input-Process-Output-Customer (SIPOC). The result of this counseling is an increase in residents' knowledge about preparation for making tarpaulin ponds, seed selection and production, feeding techniques, harvesting, and selling fish.

Abstract

Taxation stands as a potential income factor, significantly contributing to regional revenue. The objective of community service in Randubango Village, Mojokerto, is to elevate public awareness of tax payments and foster innovation in the queuing system for administrative services. The implementation of this community service unfolds in three stages: licensing, awareness-raising counseling, and assistance in deploying the queuing system for administrative services, integrating KTP scanning and monitoring. The outcome of this program manifests in an increased awareness of the importance of tax payments and the improved operation of the administrative services queue system.

Abstract

This community service initiative aimed to empower batik artisans in Pamekasan and Pacet villages by enhancing their economic prospects. The team disseminated automated steam engine technology for eco-printing batik to expedite the production process. The activities involved training in various aspects, including eco-printing, automated steam engine usage, cost calculation, and product branding. The outcomes revealed the unique appeal of eco-printing batik motifs, which have become a trend among environmental enthusiasts and fashionistas. The technology dissemination also streamlined the production process, allowing for 18 rolls of fabric to be steamed simultaneously, ultimately reducing production costs. Additionally, batik artisans gained the ability to determine product prices and market their creations through e-commerce platforms.
