Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe: (1) the form of physiological needs of the main character in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen, (2) the form of the main character's need for security in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen, (3) the form of need to be loved and a feeling of love for the main character in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen, (4) the form of need for a sense of appreciation and respect for the main character in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen, and (5) the form of self-actualization needs of the main character in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen. The type of research used is literary research with descriptive methods. The object used in this research is the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen. Based on the research conducted, it was found that there are 4 forms of physiological needs, 5 forms of the need for security, 4 forms of the need to feel loved and loving, 3 forms of the need for a sense of esteem and appreciation, and 1 form of the need for self-actualization of the main character in the novel Kado Terbaik by J.S. Khairen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks eksplanasi yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Tanjuang Baru, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, pada tahun pembelajaran 2022/2023. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa/siswi kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan dokumen hasil penugasan yang diberikan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia kepada siswa untuk menulis teks eksplanasi. Dokumen tersebut kemudian dipinjam oleh peneliti dari guru Bahasa Indonesia. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah membaca dan mengklasifikasikan data, lalu memasukkan data ke dalam tabel analisis teks eksplanasi sesuai dengan struktur dan kebahasaannya. Dari 20 data yang dianalisis, 18 siswa (90%) dapat menulis teks eksplanasi dengan struktur yang tepat. Namun, 2 siswa (10%) tidak dapat menulis dengan benar. Dari 20 teks yang ditulis, hanya 7 siswa (35%) yang menggunakan ketiga kebahasaan teks eksplanasi, yaitu konjungsi kausalitas, kronologis, dan EYD. Sebanyak 13 siswa (65%) tidak menggunakan ketiga kebahasaan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis cara berkomunikasi siswa serta kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia di SMP Swasta Utama Medan. Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa nasional memiliki peran penting dalam dunia pendidikan, namun dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai kesalahan dalam penggunaannya, baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif untuk mendapatkan gambaran mendalam mengenai pola komunikasi siswa dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesalahan berbahasa mereka. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket yang diisi oleh siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya komunikasi yang baik dan penggunaan bahasa yang sopan dalam berbagai konteks. Namun, masih ditemukan beberapa tantangan, seperti kurangnya rasa percaya diri saat berbicara di depan kelas serta penggunaan bahasa tidak baku dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesalahan berbahasa meliputi interferensi bahasa daerah, kurangnya pemahaman terhadap kaidah bahasa Indonesia, serta pengaruh bahasa informal dari media sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengajaran bahasa Indonesia yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual guna meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Sekolah diharapkan dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam membentuk kebiasaan berbahasa yang baik dan benar.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of toxic parenting towards children in the family. This study was motivated by the parenting patterns of parents towards their children. Parenting patterns are habits that parents do to their children such as caring for, guiding and leading their children in the family. However, this is not the case with toxic parenting, this toxic parenting pattern parents will treat their children badly, for example, controlling their children too much, like shouting at children, committing verbal violence, blaming children, criticizing and being selfish with the aim of the good of their children. However, in reality, this condition will make children depressed, stressed, stressed, and not confident. The method used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research on toxic parenting, it can be concluded that toxic parenting is very dangerous and has a major negative effect on children's development in the future. This is because parenting patterns like this have a chain that will later be carried out by the child when they are adults and have children, because they assume that the parenting patterns carried out by their parents are good. To avoid toxic parenting, parents must try to understand their children's behavior, provide opportunities for children, control emotions and establish good communication with children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat minat mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA angkatan 2023, 2024, dan 2025 dalam memilih profesi sebagai guru. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya ketersediaan calon pendidik yang kompeten dalam bidang sains untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa dari tiga angkatan tersebut. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk melihat kecenderungan minat berdasarkan aspek persepsi profesi, motivasi internal, dorongan lingkungan, serta peluang karier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk menjadi guru, khususnya dipengaruhi oleh keinginan untuk berkontribusi dalam dunia pendidikan dan kecintaan terhadap bidang IPA. Namun, ditemukan pula beberapa faktor penghambaT seperti kekhawatiran terhadap kesejahteraan guru dan persepsi beban kerja yang tinggi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi program studi dalam merancang strategi peningkatan motivasi dan penguatan profesionalisme calon guru IPA.

Abstract

Meskipun AI memiliki banyak manfaat, ada kekhawatiran bahwa terlalu bergantung dapat mengganggu kreativitas dan pemikiran kritis siswa. Ini karena siswa mungkin terlalu bergantung pada teknologi untuk menyelesaikan masalah ketimbang berpikir secara mandiri. Maka sangat penting untuk mengecaluasi secara menyeluruh dampak positif dan negatif AI sebelum digunakan dalam sistem pendidikan.   Pendekatan deskriptif dengan menerapkan studi kepustakaan. Metode ini dilakukan melalui penelaahan mendalam terhadap berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan, meliputi buku ilmiah, jurnal nasional, artikel, serta skripsi dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan langsung dengan topik penelitian. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada sumber-sumber yang terbit sejak 2020 agar memperoleh data dan teori yang mutakhir serta relevan dengan permasalahan yang dikaji. Menurunnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan meningkatnya ketergantungan pada solusi instan. Dalam menyelesaikan tugas mahasiswa dituntut untuk melakukan pembacaan mendalam dan menelusuri berbagai referensi jurnal dan buku, membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi mahasiswa untuk memiliki literasi digital yang baik, memahami batasan serta etika dalam menggunakan AI, dan tetap memverifikasi informasi yang dihasilkan. Dengan penggunaan yang bijak dan bertanggung jawab, AI menjadi alat pendukung yang efektif dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pembentukkan karakter akademik yang kuat.

Abstract

This research presents the transformational leadership of Kyai Hasan Abdullah Sahal in managing the modern Islamic boarding school darussalam gontor, ensuring gontor remains active in educating and teaching the students. In the face of rapid global developments, gontor has managed to balance Islamic education with the advancement of the times. In carrying out his duties as a Kyai at the darussalam gontor boarding school, Kyai Hasan Abdullah Sahal applies transformational leadership in educating his students. The study of Kyai Hasan Abdullah Sahal's leadership is particularly interesting due to his transformational leadership style, inspirational motivation, and spiritual values in educating his students, shaping them into faithful and pious individuals, possessing noble character, resilient and steadfast in personality, and committed to upholding Islam and its glory. As a result, both the students and alumni of the darussalam gontor boarding school contribute positively to both national and international spheres, providing benefits from their knowledge in both ordinary society and government. This research employs a qualitative approach of library research. The findings indicate that Kyai Hasan, in leading the modern darussalam gontor boarding school, embodies values that align well with the advancement of civilization, characterized by transformational leadership, inspirational motivation, spiritual values, and exemplary inspiration. The outcome of all the values imparted by Kyai Hasan Abdullah Sahal is that the students are able to apply Islamic values in facing the challenges of the times

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the characteristics of social and moral development in elementary schoolaged children, and (2) to determine the implications of children's social and moral development for the formation of social attitudes in elementary school-aged children. The research method used in this research is research by direct observation. The results of the research show that the social and moral development characteristics of elementary school children are aware of the social roles, religion, race and socio-economic status of their peers, accept cultural stereotypes and adult attitudes towards This status gives rise to group awareness in behaving in their social environment. These characteristics will remain until childhood and will continue until they are adults if educators provide stimulus to continue their developmental tasks in a mature manner. This stimulus takes the form of guidance, direction, and provides a good and healthy social and cultural environment for social, emotional and moral development so that it has implications for the formation of good social attitudes.
