Abstract

The background of this research is the development of technology in coaching that was increasingly diverse and requires coaches to be able to adapt to the competition. The role of the trainer is not to be divided in concentration during training. This is important because during training the trainer's duty in addition to monitor the course of the training, the coach must also be able to analyze the results of the training. The purpose of this study was to develop a speed and endurance training tool for kick speed with sensors, LEDs, and digital accounting to be used to train kick speed and endurance in taekwondo athletes. This method of this research is Research and Development which has the following steps: Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trials, Product Revision, Usage Trials, Product Revision, Bulk Products. The results of this study are from the first taekwondo expert at stage I 93% good, stage II 95% very good. The assessment of second taekwondo experts at stage I is 75% good, stage II is 95% very good. The assessment of the first electro expert at stage I is 74% good, stage II is 95% very good. The evaluation of second electro experts in stage I is 90% very good, stage II is 95% very good. The evaluation process in trials for trainers in small group trials was 71% very good, in large group trials 89.37% was very good, in product trials 89.37% was very good.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The context of this research is that coaches and trainers must be able to adapt to competition as a result of the continuously changing technological landscape in the coaching process . Staying focused throughout training is the trainer's responsibility. This is important because, in addition to monitoring training progress, the trainer's role during sessions also requires the ability to evaluate programme results. To train the speed and endurance of kicks for taekwondo players , this research aims to design a speed and endurance training tool for Dollyo kicks. Chagi uses sensors, LEDs and digital accounting. Materials and methods. The following processes form a research methodology called research and development, which include: potential and problems; data collection; product design; design validation; design revision; product trials; product revision; and mass production. Results. Based on research, 93% of Taekwondo I experts are good at stage I, and 95% are very good at stage II. The assessment for stage I was 75% good, while stage II was 95% very good, according to Taekwondo II experts. Electrical expert I gave a good rating of 74% for stage I and a very good score of 95% for stage II. The Phase I assessment for Electrical Expert II was 90% very good, and the Phase II assessment was 95% very good. Conclusions. In small group testing, 71% of trainer evaluation methods were considered very good; large group testing was 89.37%; and product testing was 89.37%.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. To evaluate the effectiveness of an integrated swimming instruction program combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) principles with adaptive aquatic techniques for children with water-related anxiety disorders, comparing outcomes with traditional swimming instruction methods. Materials and methods. A randomized controlled trial involving 120 children aged 6-12 years with diagnosed anxiety disorders featuring water-related fears di kota Medan, Indonesia, Indonesia. Participants were assigned to either an intervention group (n=60) receiving specialized anxiety-focused instruction or a control group (n=60) receiving standard swimming lessons. The 12-week program included twice-weekly 45-minute sessions. Outcomes were measured using the Water Anxiety Scale for Children (WASC-R), Swimming Competency Assessment Tool (SCAT), Behavioral Observation Scale (BOS), and parent-reported anxiety measures (SCARED questionnaire). Results. The intervention group showed significantly greater improvements across all measures: anxiety reduction (68% vs 23% in controls), swimming competency (82% vs 45%), and avoidance behaviors (85% vs 35% reduction). Program completion rates were higher in the intervention group (95% vs 82%). At 3-month follow-up, the intervention group maintained superior outcomes in anxiety reduction (92% maintenance), swimming skills (88%), and water confidence (90%) compared to controls (76%, 70%, and 65% respectively). Conclusions. The integrated anxiety-focused swimming instruction approach significantly outperforms traditional methods for children with water-related anxiety disorders, producing superior outcomes in both psychological and physical domains while maintaining higher program adherence rates. This approach should be considered the standard of care for anxiety-affected populations in aquatic education.
