Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana praktik manyanda kebun karet masyarakat Bakumpai di desa Muara Sumpoi ditinjau dalam ekonomi Islam, yang diteliti menggunakan jenis kualitatif deskriptif.Data yang gali melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumen kepada masyarakat Bakumpai di desa Muara Sumpoi yang berdomisili di pinggiran sungai Bariro. Dianalisis logis dan dialasis menggunakan teori dan pendapat para ahli dalam bidang muamalah dan budaya, dihubungkan dengan ekonomi Islam. Temuan penelitian bahwa manyanda kebun karet merupakan habitus masyarakat Bakumpai di desa Muara Sumpoi dilakukan sejak dahulu yang dilakukan dengan alasan ekonomi. Melakukannya dianggap sebagai solusi mengatasi kebutuhan materi yang mendesak. Proses manyanda hanya dilakukan secara lisan dan tidak ada penyerahan dokumen asli kepemilikan dari pihak rahin. Secara akad kemudian rukun dan syarat rahn sudah terpenuhi, namun dari segi sighat yang tidak dipermasalahkan dan ini yang menyebabkan hutang piutang terjadi dalam waktu lama. Pengambilan manfaat dari barang jaminan boleh saja dilakukan karena itu sudah diatur dalam kesepakatan awal dalam berakad, namunmanyanda bisa berlarut-larut, sehingga hasil dari kebun karet atau manfaatnya lebih besar dari hutang awal. Karenanya, semua pihak perlu memegang prinsip keadilandalam ekonomi Islam (sesuai hak), tanpa adanya diskriminasi dan penekanan, walaupun dilakukan atas dasar kekeluargaan atau saling tolong menolong. Abstract

Globalization is emerging in a digital era, making it easier to access information, share, and exchange things via social networks, such as Instagram. The purpose of this study is to analyze students’ perceptions of Instagram as a platform to motivate EFL learners. The researcher assumes Instagram is an easy platform and can be used to learn English anywhere and anytime without time restrictions. The research was conducted on the students of IAIN Palangka Raya. Researchers used quantitative methods to solve research problems and employ questionnaires and interviews as data-gathering instruments in this study. For the English Study Programs at IAIN Palangka Raya, a research sample was chosen by purposive sampling in which the sample should be the third-semester students who were also active users of Instagram and active followers of accounts that teach English. This study found that 76% of TEFL students are motivated to learn English using Instagram due to its attractive and easy-to-use application design, fun activities, and improved English vocabulary, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Abstract

The qualitative research entitled “Diachronic Analysis Swadesh Wordlist: Ngapak vs Java” will focus on examining historical linguistic changes and relationships between Ngapak and Javanese dialects using the Swadesh wordlist. The study will use a diachronic approach to analyze the evolution of vocabulary and phonological aspects over time, providing insight into the linguistic kinship and differences between these dialects. This research applies qualitative methods by utilizing historical-comparative linguistic approaches and corpus-based analysis to identify significant changes and retentions in core vocabulary. The results show that Ngapak dialect tends to retain more archaic phonological and lexical forms, while Standard Javanese undergoes innovation and simplification in a number of basic vocabularies. In addition, it was found that retention, innovation, and external influences distinguish the two dialects, both in terms of pronunciation and vocabulary selection. These findings enrich the understanding of the dynamics of Javanese language change, the importance of local dialect preservation, and contribute to the mapping of linguistic kinship in the Java region.

Abstract

This study explores the linguistic kinship between the Dayak Ngaju and Dayak Maanyan languages, two prominent indigenous languages spoken in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Utilizing a lexicostatistical approach based on the 200-item Swadesh list vocabularies, the research aims to quantify the level of relatedness between the two languages and identify sound changes that mark their historical divergence. Data were collected through direct elicitation from native speakers and supplemented with secondary sources. The analysis found that 64 out of 200 vocabulary items are cognates, resulting in a kinship value of 32%, which classifies the relationship at the stock level. This indicates that while both languages likely share a common ancestral language, they have diverged significantly over time due to phonological shifts, socio-cultural factors, and geographic separation. Further comparative analysis revealed systematic sound changes. These findings contribute to a broader understanding of the Austronesian language family and emphasize the importance of preserving linguistic diversity in the Borneo region.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas berbagai tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi para pegiat seni dan akademisi yang senantiasa tumbuh-kembang dan menghidupi tradisi lisan dalam berkebudayaan. Di samping tradisi lisan, keberadaan manuskrip tidak kalah penting peranannya sebagai wahana penyimpanan narasi dan pengetahuan lokal dari masa lalu yang tertulis menjadi ekspresi kebudayaan. Pembahasan terhadap kekayaan tradisi lisan dan manuskrip yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah sebagai warisan budaya tak benda ini difokuskan pada aspek tantangan dan peluang yang ada di tengah perubahan masyarakat yang terus menerus. Metode dekriptif-kualitatif dijadikan pijakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami fenomena lapangan terkait dengan eksistensi tradisi lisan dan manusikrip di wilayah budaya masyarakat Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui pembahasan dengan pendekatan budaya adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, modal budaya tradisi yang dimiliki masyarakat Dayak Kenyah di Kalimantan Tengah memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan selaras dengan perubahan dan pertumbuhan budaya baru. Kedua, pengelolaan tradisi lisan dan manuskrip yang berbasis pada budaya masa lalu dapat dihadirkan secara kreatif untuk diapresiasi dan dimanfaatan semaksimal mungkin oleh masyarakat melalui industri kreatif. Ketiga, regulasi pemerintah seperti UU No 5 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemajuan Kebudayaan mengamanatkan lahirnya upaya-upaya konkret oleh pemangku kepentingan melalui program pelindungan,pengembangan, pemanfaatan, dan pembinaan. Keempat, program itu memerlukan sumber daya manusia kebudayaan yang bergiat, bekerja, dan berkarya melalui berbagai objek pemajuan kebudayaan, khususnya tradisi lisan dan manuskrip. Dari hal-hal itu memunculkan tantangan dan peluang para pemangku kepentingan untuk membangun idustri kreatif berbasis tradisi lisan dan manuskrip yang ada di Kalimantan Tengah.

Abstract

This article describes comprehensive training centered on applying the technique of steaming natural dyes sourced from local plants to silk in ecoprint batik, which was carried out at the Bawi DayakAssociation group located in Palangka Raya City. Natural dyes, derived from native flora, play an important role in preserving cultural heritage, encouraging sustainable practices, and promoting environmentally friendly alternatives to synthetic dyes. This training program aims to empower members of the Bawi DayakAssociation with the knowledge and skills needed to proficiently apply the technique of steaming natural dyes to silk fabric in ecoprint batik. This service aims to increase partners' knowledge and skills regarding making ecoprints using the steaming technique, 1) providing information to mothers about steaming techniques to make colors and motifs, and 2) training mothers in making ecoprints using the steaming technique. The socialization stage is carried out through socializing the eco-printing steaming technique as an environmentally friendly product and introducing materials for eco-printing production. Ecoprinting training using the steaming technique includes the following stages: wetting (wetting the silk fabric), attaching sheets of natural flora leaves to the silk fabric, steaming and fixing. This will improve the skills of our partners who make natural dyeing ecoprints with the steaming technique and provide them with better income

Abstract

This study implements a community-oriented STEM-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL-STEM) model to improve English writing skills among elementary school teachers in Pundu Village, Cempaga Hulu Subdistrict, East Kotawaringin Regency. The background of this study stems from the low writing culture among teachers, limited access to literacy training, and the lack of systematic documentation of innovative learning practices in the Mufakat KKG environment. This program aims to strengthen reflective and scientific writing competencies, increase awareness of literacy based on local environmental issues, and produce educational outputs in the form of digital modules, scientific articles, and video documentation. The research method uses a project-based community service design carried out over five months through three main stages: preparation, training, and mentoring. The subjects of the activity were 20 teachers who were members of the KKG. The training included an introduction to the PjBL-STEM concept, reflective writing practice, the preparation of learning modules, and the implementation of a school waste management project. Data was obtained through observation, participatory evaluation, analysis of written products, and partner feedback. The results showed that participants experienced a significant increase in their ability to compose argumentative paragraphs, design learning projects, and systematically document teaching practices. Three project-based thematic learning modules were successfully produced, accompanied by a four-minute documentary video and a draft scientific article ready for publication. The program also encouraged a change in the literacy culture at KKG through continuous collaboration and the implementation of waste management practices at school. It was concluded that the PjBL-STEM model was effective in strengthening teachers' professional literacy, enhancing pedagogical creativity, and was relevant for application in a rural context. In the future, the sustainability of the program is recommended through continued mentoring and facilitation of the publication of teachers' scientific works
