Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif dan literasi sains anak sangat penting untuk dioptimalkan dan distimulasi dengan metode yang tepat. Tujuan yang akan dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah buku panduan little scientist dalam pembelajaran STEAM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains anak usia 4-5 tahun serta mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dari buku panduan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) atau research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Data berupa penilaian mengenai kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan buku panduan little scientist diperoleh dengan teknik angket atau kuesioner dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil data yang diperoleh dari uji coba kevalidan dari ahli materi menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 97,72% dan hasil perolehan presentase dari ahli media sebesar 98,52% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Adapun penilaian kepraktisan dari  buku panduan little scientist dengan menggunakan ngain score memperoleh nilai rata rata n gain score yang didapat adalah 0,73 berada pada kriteria g > 0,7. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan little scientist memiliki kepraktisan tinggi sehingga buku panduan little scientist cocok digunakan untuk sumber belajar guru dalam pembelajaran literasi sains anak. Selain itu penilaian yang dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon mendapatkan hasil Asymp Sing (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 sehingga P  <  0,05 atau 0.000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan  bahwa terdapat pengaruh buku panduan little scientist untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains anak usia 4-5 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku panduan little scientist dinyatakan memenuhi standar kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dalam menstimulasi kemampuan literasi sains anak pada usia 4-5 tahun. Pengembangan buku panduan little scientist dapat menjadi inovasi bahan ajar bagi guru TK dalam rangka menstimulasi kemampuan literasi sains anak.

Abstract

The aspect of language development in children is the child's ability in this aspect which is described in the child's readiness to assemble or compile a vocabulary that is already known so that it becomes a series of conversations such as the child being able to repeat what the child hears. The development of language skills in kindergarten is very necessary in an effort for children to be able to communicate orally with their environment. Thus, language development in early childhood needs to be considered by teachers and parents. In developing the language of early childhood teachers can use interesting and creative media that can help develop children's language. One of them is through the game of coklis (match writing). This coklis game can help develop early childhood literacy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, namely research used to describe something related to the problem being studied. The subject of this research is to find as much data as possible, data sources that can be trusted in providing a bright spot in a research or commonly referred to as data information sources that aim to produce data related to research. The target of this research is students in Hidayatullah Kindergarten. In addition, the learning model used is to apply a cooperative learning strategy. This learning model can be used to develop language in early childhood. Then for the method used is to use the writing method.   ABSTRAK  Aspek perkembangan bahasa pada anak merupakan kemampuan anak dalam aspek digambarkan dalam kesiapan anak untuk merangkai atau menyusun sebuah kosa kata yang telah diketahui sehingga menjadi suatu rangkaian pembicaraan seperti anak mampu mengulangi apa yang anak dengarkan. Perkembangan kemampuan bahasa di TK sangat diperlukan dalam upaya anak mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan lingkungannya. Dengan demikian, perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini perlu diperhatikan oleh guru maupun orang tua. Dalam mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini guru dapat menggunakan media yang menarik dan kreatif yang dapat membantu mengambangakan bahasa anak. Salah satunya adalah melalui permainan coklis (cocok tulis). Permainan coklis ini dapat membantu mengembangkan bahasa aksara anak usia dini.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan pemasalahan yang sedang diteliti. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah mencari data sebanyak mungkin sumber data yang dapat dipercaya dalam memberikan titik terang suatu penelitian atau biasa disebut dengan sumber informasi data yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan data yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Sasaran dari penelitian ini adalah siswa yang ada di TK Hidayatullah. Selain itu, model peembelajaran yang digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan strategi cooperative learning. Model pemeblajaran ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini. Kemudian untuk metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode menulis.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memegang peranan strategis dalam membentuk fondasi kemampuan kognitif, sosial-emosional, bahasa, dan fisik anak. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan usia dini adalah literasi numerasi, yang menjadi dasar bagi pembelajaran matematika dan sains. Namun, capaian literasi numerasi anak-anak Indonesia masih rendah, yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran tradisional dan kurangnya media inovatif. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, pendekatan unplugged coding diperkenalkan sebagai strategi inovatif yang menggabungkan konsep literasi numerasi dengan aktivitas permainan dan eksplorasi tanpa menggunakan perangkat digital. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam mengintegrasikan literasi numerasi melalui pendekatan tematik berbasis unplugged coding. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan, survei kebutuhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif untuk mengukur peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman guru melalui data pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman guru (91,4% mencapai skor post-test >80), serta dihasilkannya 35 set media pembelajaran tematik. Uji coba di lima lembaga PAUD menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan kemampuan anak dalam berhitung, mengenal pola, dan bekerja sama. Sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan, terbentuk grup diskusi daring antarguru untuk berbagi praktik baik. Dengan demikian, unplugged coding terbukti sebagai pendekatan efektif dan aplikatif dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi di lingkungan PAUD.

Abstract

Creative thinking (CrTS) is one of the most important skills in the era of Society 5.0. The disparities that occur in creative thinking indicators are often experienced by children from an early age, especially in the indicators of originality and elaboration. This study aimed to test the GaMaKe (Firefighter Game) media as a solution to train indicators of CrTS in early childhood. GaMaKe media integrates game elements with fire disaster mitigation-based activities to provide meaningful experiences for early childhood. This research method uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design with 54 children divided into three groups. The research results show that GaMaKe media can improve creative thinking in early childhood, showing significant results; the average N-Gain for class A is .53, class B is .57, and class C is .62, which is categorized as moderate; and there is no difference in the average N-Gain score through statistical testing of the Paired Sample T-test.

Abstract

The waste problem remains a serious issue, necessitating the instilling of environmental awareness from an early age. Observations at Puri Cendekia IES Kindergarten indicate that children aged 5–6 years are unable to properly separate organic and inorganic waste, as their practice is limited to disposing of waste appropriately. This study aims to see the efect of the MARKISAH (Let's Sort Waste) educational game to improve children's waste management skills. The pre-experimentmethod used the ADDIE model, involving 14 children in Group B. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher response questionnaires, pretests and posttests. Data were then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using N-Gain. The results showed that the MARKISAH game was effective, with an N-Gain value of 0.7390 (73.90%), in the high category. Thus, this game is proven to be feasible and effective in helping children understand and correctly separate organic and inorganic waste.

Abstract

The introduction of numbers and foreign languages from an early age is an important aspect of children's cognitive development. However, in kindergarten learning practices, the introduction of numbers 1–10 in English is often carried out through lecture and memorization methods without the support of engaging learning media. This condition makes children less motivated, easily bored, and find it difficult to understand the relationship between number symbols and their pronunciation in English. Therefore, innovative and enjoyable learning media are needed, in line with the characteristics of early childhood learning which tends to occur through play. This study aims to develop the SnakesEdu Board learning media to introduce numbers 1–10 in English to children aged 5–6 years. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were nine children from TK Islam Al-Fatah Nginden Surabaya. The results showed that the SnakesEdu Board media is valid, practical, and effective in improving children's ability to recognize numbers 1–10 in English.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Eco enzyme project on early childhood ecoliteracy behavior, particularly in the behavioral aspect. The research was conducted at TK Kurnia Wonorejo in Group B with a total of 26 children, using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected through behavioral observation using a frequency rating scale instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability. The treatment was conducted in four sessions through a series of Eco enzyme project activities, including the introduction of environmental concepts, eco enzyme production, observation of the fermentation process, and filtering and utilizing the eco enzyme results. The normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, data analysis was continued using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The analysis results showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in children's ecoliteracy behavior before and after the treatment. Behavioral improvement was observed across all assessed items, with the most notable increase in children’s behavior of reminding peers to maintain environmental cleanliness. Thus, the Eco enzyme project has a positive effect on improving early childhood ecoliteracy behavior and can serve as a contextual and meaningful learning activity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning (PJBL) model on improving clean and healthy living behaviors through the "Healthy Is Fun" activity in children aged 5 to 6 years at Chandra Dimuka PKK Kindergarten. This study began with initial observations that showed that children aged 5-6 years still often choose unhealthy foods and dispose of waste in inappropriate places. This study used a quantitative approach with a single-group pre-posttest design. The subjects of this study consisted of 14 children in group B aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique used an observation table based on two PHBS indicators: choosing healthy and clean snacks and disposing of waste properly. The research procedure consisted of several stages: pretest, treatment, and posttest. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to determine whether there were differences in results before and after treatment. This study showed that there was an increase in clean and healthy living behaviors after using the project-based learning model. Thus, the project-based learning model through the "Healthy Is Fun" activity has a positive impact on improving clean and healthy living behaviors in children aged 5 to 6 years at the Chandra Dimuka PKK Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between extracurricular archery activities and fine motor development in early childhood. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design to provide in-depth insight into the phenomena occurring in the field. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects included early childhood education, archery teachers, class teachers, and parents at a kindergarten (TK) that has been providing archery extracurricular activities since 2025. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis techniques through a deductive approach, spanning six stages: data familiarization, initial coding, theme discovery, theme review, theme definition, and report production. The research results show that the archery extracurricular activity significantly stimulates children's fine motor development through four key themes: 1) Archery as a structured practice environment (deliberate practice), 2) Archery as an integrative sensorimotor intervention, 3) Internalization of discipline and self-efficacy, and 4) External validation and character building. The activities of holding a bow, drawing the string, and aiming at a target have been shown to effectively develop small hand muscles, improve visual-motor coordination, and extend children's attention span. These positive impacts are also observed in children's increased independence in daily activities at home and school, such as improved writing skills, cutting skills, and independent spoon-feeding skills. Thus, archery is not just a sport, but a holistic stimulation medium for preparing early childhood for academic and social readiness.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low speaking skills of children aged 5–6 years in expressing ideas, telling experiences, and using vocabulary coherently during learning activities. This research aimed to develop Storyboard DAB (Daily Activity Board) media and determine its effectiveness in improving the speaking skills of children. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects of this research were 25 children in group B at TK Islam Al-Fatah. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, observation, and pretest–posttest assessments. Data analysis was conducted using the Paired Sample t-test and N-Gain test. The results showed that the Storyboard DAB media was feasible to be used in learning activities. The hypothesis test indicated a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The N-Gain value of 0.0536 indicates that there was an improvement in children's speaking skills, although it was still categorized as low. In conclusion, Storyboard DAB (Daily Activity Board) can be used as an alternative learning media to help improve the speaking skills of children aged 5–6 years.
