Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to describe the readability rate of articles contained in Electronic Book for Schools (EBS), Indonesian Language textbook for High School students, The author is using Flesch Formula technique in measuring the readability of the articles, which is “RE = 206,835 – (1,015  ASL) – (84,6  ASW)”, In The said analysis, we take two paragraphs from each article as a sample for the measurement of the readability, Based on our study, we know that the average readability of an article in Electronic Book for Schools (EBS), Indonesian Language textbook is very low, which is -15,79, The result of this research can be utilized as the basis in choosing articles or texts for reference materials in teaching Indonesian language for high school students,Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan tingkat keterbacaan artikel yang terkandung dalam Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE), buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa SMA, Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keterbacaan adalah dengan menggunakan Formula Flesch, yaitu "RE = 206,835 - (1,015 ASL) - (84,6  ASW)", Dalam analisis tingkat keterbacaan tersebut, kami mengambil dua paragraf dari setiap artikel sebagai sampel untuk pengukuran keterbacaan, Berdasarkan penelitian kami, dapat diketahui, bahwa rata-rata keterbacaan wacana yang terdapat dalam Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa SMA sangat rendah, yaitu -15,79, Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam memilih artikel atau teks untuk bahan referensi dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa sekolah menengah,

Abstract

Abstract:The problems in this paper are the criteria, and steps to arrange teaching material by using local folklore. The aims of this paper are to describe, and how to arrange language and Indonesian literature teaching materials source from the south Banten folklore for elementary school students in Pandeglang district. The method of this research is descriptive-analysis. Questionnaire technique is used to capture the teachers' opinion about the criteria and steps to make folklore as teaching materials. Folklore teaching materials of South Banten has fulfilled adequate criteria and considered the steps in arranging teaching materials. In the end to anticipate the limited teaching materials in the form of folklore from own region, the language and Indonesian literature teachers at an elementary school in Pandeglang can utilize it as an alternative and variety of teaching material.Keywords: folklore, and teaching materials. Abstrak:Permasalahan dalam tulisan ini adalah kriteria, dan langkah-langkah menyusun bahan ajar cerita rakyat. Tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan cara menyusun bahan ajar bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang bersumber dari cerita rakyat Banten Selatan bagi siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Pandeglang.Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif-analitis. Teknik angket digunakan untuk menjaring pendapat guru tentang kriteria dan langkah-langkah menyusun bahan ajar cerita rakyat. Hasilnya, bahan ajar cerita rakyat Banten Selatan telah memenuhi kriteria yang memadai serta memperhatikan langkah-langkah dalam menyusun bahan ajar.Pada akhirnya antisipasi kekurangtersediaan bahan pembelajaran berupa cerita rakyat dari daerah sendiri, guru bahasa dan sastra Indonesia SD di Kabupaten Pandeglang dapat mempergunakannya sebagai alternatif dan variasi bahan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: cerita rakyat, dan bahan ajar

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of writing this article is to describe the level of conformity and diversity of development indicators of competency achievement in Indonesian high school BSE with critical thinking aspects emphasized by the Directorate. PSMA Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education (2017). The method used in this research is content analysis. The research procedure used refers to Huberman and Saldaña (2018). The results showed that in the BSE class X there were 79 items, in class XI as many as 64, and in class XII as many as 55 items. The development of indicators of competency achievement in BSE Indonesian high school in general has been in accordance with critical thinking aspects, but the distribution of each aspect of critical thinking has not been evenly distributed.Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesesuaian dan keberagaman pengembangan indikator pencapaian kompetensi  dalam BSE bahasa Indonesia SMA dengan aspek berpikir kritis yang ditekankan oleh Dit. PSMA Ditjen Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (2017). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada Huberman dan Saldaña (2018). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa dalam BSE kelas X terdapat 79 butir, kelas XI sebanyak 64, dan  kelas XII sebanyak 55 butir. Pengembangan indikator pencapaian kompetensi pada BSE bahasa Indonesia SMA secara umum telah sesuai dengan aspek berpikir kritis, namun penyebaran tiap aspek berpikir kritis belum merata.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the suitability of the newsprint evaluation instrument contained in the Indonesian Language BSE textbook with the 2013 Curriculum competency standards. This type of research is a qualitative research. The research method used is content analysis, namely by combining the appropriateness of the contents of the evaluation instrument with the basic competencies in the 2013 Curriculum. The data sources of this research are a number of evaluation instruments about news text teaching materials contained in the BSE Indonesian language textbook for SMP class VIII. Based on the research that has been done, data obtained, that the level of conformity of the evaluation instrument with the basic competencies of the 2013 Curriculum related to news text teaching materials is 66%, while the discrepancy is 33%. The results of this study can be used as information to determine the quality of the evaluation instruments contained in Indonesian textbooks.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the effect of using Youtube media on the ability of fifth graders at SDN Gerem 1 Cilegon City in writing short stories. The method used in this research is the True Experimental Design method using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The results showed that the use of Youtube media had a significant effect on students' ability to write short stories. The results of the experimental class pretest before getting treatment using Youtube media an average value of 59.5. The results of the short story writing skills test after getting treatment using Youtube media the average value of 80.16.

Abstract

TRAINING ON IMPLEMENTATION OF LEARNING ORIENTED ON HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL FOR TEACHERS OF SMP NEGERI 7 DEPOK, WEST JAVA. Learning oriented towards higher-order thinking skills is a learning activity that aims to improve students' ability to think critically, creatively, analytically, and logically. This Community Service activity aims to improve the competence of teachers of SMP Negeri 7 Depok, West Java in implementing learning that is oriented to higher-order thinking skills. The method used in this training is a workshop that refers to the genre pedagogy training model, which starts with conditioning, modeling, designing learning together, and finishing learning independently. After participating in training activities, teachers can design and implement learning activities oriented to high-level skills well. The results of the training can be used as a model for better learning and are relevant to the demands of the 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT TRAINING FOR TEACHERS OF SD MUHAMMADIYAH 3 PARAKAN, PAMULANG, TANGERANG SELATAN, BANTEN. Authentic assessment is a form of assessment that is highly emphasized in the 2013 Curriculum because it has a significant impact on student learning outcomes in the realm of attitudes, skills, and knowledge. This training activity aims to improve the professional competence of teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Parakan, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan, Banten in making authentic assessment instrumen s. This training is conducted in three sessions, namely exploration, elaboration, and confirmation sessions. The exploration session begins with the submission of various questions via google form related to the training participants' understanding of authentic assessment. In the elaboration session, the training participants were given an explanation of the various characteristics of authentic assessment along with examples of authentic assessment models that can be applied in evaluating learning outcomes. At the confirmation stage, the trainees are asked to make authentic assessment instruments related to the subjects they are teaching. This training is able to improve the professional competence of the teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Parakan, Pamulang, South Tangerang in making authentic assessment instruments. The initial average ability of the teachers was 63. After participating in the training activities, the average ability of the teachers increased to 81.

Abstract

TRAINING ON DEVELOPING INDONESIAN LANGUAGE EVALUATION INSTRUMENTS BASED ON 21ST CENTURY SKILLS VALUES. This article aims to describe the training activities for the preparation of an evaluation instrument based on 21st century skill values for teachers of SDN Gandaria Selatan 01 Jakarta Selatan. An evaluation instrument based on 21st century skills values is an evaluation instrument developed based on the development of critical thinking, creative-innovative, collaborative, and communicative. The procedure used in this training activity is to use the pedagogical model of the genre, namely through the activities of building context, examining models, constructing together, and constructing independently. The technical evaluation instrument preparation was carried out using google assessment media. This training activity was able to improve the professional competence of teachers at SDN Gandaria Selatan 01 Jakarta Selatan in developing evaluation instruments based on 21st century skill values.

Abstract

IN HOUSE TRAINING: IMPROVING TEACHER ABILITY IN APPLYING AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING: Authentic assessment is a form of assessment that can measure students' abilities holistically, but not all teachers at SDN Gerem 1 Cilegon City are able to develop it. Therefore, it is necessary to strive. One of them is through intensive training activities. This article aims to describe the activities of the partnership program to the community in the form of authentic assessment training in learning at the Gerem 1 Elementary School in Cilegon City. The procedure used in this activity consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage of the training equipment, the implementation of the training, and the reflection stage. The training activities that have been carried out can improve the competence of teachers in carrying out various forms of authentic assessment.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students’ reading comprehension of SMAN 4 Serang City are influenced by many factors, including the use of learning models and learning media. This study aims to determine the increase in students' ability to read short stories through the CIRC model assisted by media images. This research is a classroom action research using two cycles. Following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, this  model is based on a spiral cycle consisting of four components, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subject were 42 of class XI IPA-2 at SMAN 4 Serang City in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Determination of the research sample using purposive sampling methods with a random technique. Data on students’ reading ability were collected using a  reading comprehension test. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The result showed that the learning model applied has been empirically proven to improve student learning outcomes by reading student stories. From tests that has been carried out for two cycles, it was found that there is a very significant difference between the pretest results and the posttest results. The average value of the final test results, namely after learning using the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) learning model and the image media developed, has increased significantly compared to the average value of the initial test results, namely before the developed learning model. So it can be concluded that learning using the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) type learning model and serial image media has been proven through a series of tests to improve student learning outcomes for grade XI students of SMAN 4 Serang City.
