Abstract

The delivery process often causes injuries and trauma to the uterine and vaginal areas. Especially those who do vaginal delivery. This wound can cause uncomfortable feelings and also quite severe pain when giving birth to pregnant women. And in order to reduce or overcome this pain, of course there are several ways that can be done to help pregnant women who are in labor so that pain can be overcome during labor. The purpose of this study was to find out and also obtain information and data on how the effect of holding finger relaxation can overcome and become the management of perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers for respondents or informants who control and deliver the process at the Sundari General Hospital. This study used pre and post test systems based on control of groups of respondents or informants in Sundari Public Hospital. In this study, there were 50 postpartum mothers who experienced perineal injuries. From this population the experimental group consisted of 25 people, while the control group also consisted of 25 respondents. For sampling using a purposive sampling technique where the research instrument will use an observation sheet with the NRS pain scale or Numerical Ra Scale as the data to be collected. The data collection will be analyzed using the Mann-Whitney system. And the effect of finger grip relaxation on perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers carried out at Sundari General Hospital can be an application process for mothers who are about to give birth to reduce pain.

Abstract

The importance of education and health reproduction at SMP Muhammadiiyah 4 Medan is often neglected. Whereas prevalence problems in health reproduction in adolescents at SMP Muhammadiiyah 4 Medan are still high, including anemia, vaginal discharge, dysmenorrhea, syndrome premenstrual, and hygiene problems. Difficulties can have an impact, like school absenteeism, wasting, and infertility. Peer education seen as capable of overcoming problemsThis is because teenagers at SMP Muhammadiiyah 4 Medan more often interact with friends and peers than with family, teachers, or officers. Purpose of activity: This is to increase knowledge, attitudes, and skills of participants about education, peers, and health reproduction among teenagers. Health education for teenagers, peer education training, and mentoring activities are potential extracurriculars that help the realization of healthy madrasas. A number of activities are performed. Activity This is followed by three to ten students who want to become peer educators. Results of activities evaluated use pre-test and post-test questionnaires, as well as practice education, health, and counseling. Result of activity: This is an enhancement knowledge participant about health reproduction among teenagers of 8.28 and peer education of 5.17 after the follow-up activity. Participants are also capable of recognizing health problems, common reproduction that appears in adolescence, and manner prevention.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan mastitis sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan kompres kentang. Penelitian ini merupakn jenis penelitian Quasy Experiment yang menggunakan desain penelitian pra experimental dengan tekhnik one group pretest-posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui yang mengalami mastitis non infeksi yang berjumlah responden. Melalui uji statistik non parametric dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, maka diperleh hasil mean yang dihasilkan adalah 13,50 dengan nilai p-value (probabilitas) sebesar 0,00 karena nilai p-value (probabilitas) yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompres kentang memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mastitis non infeksi pada ibu menyusui di Puskesmas Sei Tualang Raso. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kompres kentang memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada skala nyeri, pembengkakan dan ketidaknyamanan pada ibu dengan gangguan mastitis non infeksi. Peneliti menyarankan kepada perawat dan juga ibu menyusui agar dapat menggunakan kompres kentang untuk mengurangi intensitas nyeri, bengkak dan ketidaknyamanan pada ibu dengan gangguan mastitis.

Abstract

Social media helps tourist destinations build their image and branding. By sharing interesting visual content, traveler experience stories, and positive testimonials, tourist destinations can strengthen their identity in the public eye. The use of social media also allows a tourist destination to interact directly with tourists, by answering questions, providing recommendations, and sharing personal tourist experiences. This study aims to determine the respondents' level of understanding of the creation of social media about forest tourism in increasing the visibility and attractiveness of tourism in Lampung province, focusing on theories that support the role of social media in influencing tourist decisions. Respondents in this study amounted to 28 people who were parties to the Government Office which included the Tourism Office, Hiudp Environmental Service, Forestry Service, SDA Pesawaran, KPH Pesawaran, and Tahura. The implementation of this community service activity was carried out using lecture and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) methods conducted directly by lecturers of the Forestry Department and Social Media Training Resource Persons by Lampung Geh. The results of the pre-test and post-test show that if there is an increase in participants' understanding of social media related to ecotourism. The data analysis conducted shows a significant increase in participants' knowledge, this reflects the material provided by the resource person can be understood by the participants. The percentage of the pre-test value is 66% while for the post-test value is 95%, so there is an increase of 29%.

Abstract

Two thirds of injury cases in developing countries, including Indonesia, are still a major public health problem in all countries. In 2020 there were 152.256 injury cases in Indonesia (17.8%). Fractures cause a variety of negative effects, including psychological, social, and spiritual. A report from the Department of Health shows that 15 percent of fracture sufferers experience emotional stress and even depression. Psychological education helps in the treatment and reduction of depressive symptoms, which are part of the psychological response to disability. This research is to find out how well psychoeducation helps fracture patients adapt at Pirngadi Hospital, Medan City. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with control group. This research was carried out at Pirngadi Hospital, Medan City from 21 July to 23 August 2023. The study population included 67 patients who experienced grade 2 and 3 fractures. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling. The number of samples in this study was 16 people for the control group and 16 people for the treatment group. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability. Univariate analysis to describe research variables, while bivariate analysis with dependent t test to determine the mean differences in the treatment group before and after being given psychoeducation and in the control group at pre-test and post-test. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the average adaptation of fracture patients who were given psychoeducational intervention compared to the group of patients who were not given intervention with p value = 0.000; 95% CI < alpha = 0.05.
