Abstract

Adult learning is an effort aimed at self-development carried out by individuals without coercion. In applying the principles of adult learning, tutors are required to be active and adjust to the training participants. In this case, the tutor's role is not only in the training process, but starting from the tutor's performance, managing the learning environment, and evaluating the training process. Tutors have an important role in determining the success of a program. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. For the total population, the percentage of samples taken in this study was 64.5%. So the number of samples in this study were 142 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data analysis techniques using percentages. The results showed that the application of Andragogy Principles by Tutors in the Life Skill Program in PKBM Se-Kabupaten Kampar was in the medium category, meaning that from the application of these andragogical principles it was necessary to make improvements to improve the quality and professionalism of tutors in order to achieve the expected adult learning objectives.Keywords: Andragogy, Life Skill Program

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Andragogy Learning Model in Andragogy Competency Training for PKBM Tutors in Kampar Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Researchers used observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data are 2 tutors 5 students. The results showed that the implementation of the andragogy learning model was the delivery of material from the tutor/training instructor according to the material that had been mutually agreed upon, then there was a question and answer or discussion for joint evaluation. The results of the andragogy learning model showed that there was an increase and change in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills. In knowledge knowing about andragogy competencies and how to apply them in adult learning. In attitude that the trainees are very good in attitude, behavior and activity so that enthusiasm in learning is very good. In terms of skills, participants have been able to practice in learning about andragogy competencies because they have in-depth understanding of andragogy competencies for tutors after training. The supporting factors are the enthusiasm of the participants, the focus of the participants, supported by PKBM Mutiara Kampar, the network between PKBM and tutors who are able to guide the participants well, and teach the material as expected. The inhibiting factor is the timing and delivery of materials that adapt to the understanding of the participants.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what the toddlers family assistance model is as an effort to stunting prevention education in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that family assistance starts with careful planning and coordination with various related parties, implementing and preparing target data for toddlers, collecting data on families of toddlers at risk of stunting, sorting data on babies at risk of stunting until the evaluation carries out recording and reporting to the top level. Family assistance model starts from the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS) at the central level, namely the BKKBN, down to the provincial level, namely representatives of the provincial BKKBN, then at the Regency/City level, namely the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) in the field of Regency or City Population Control, at the sub-district level, namely the Family Planning Counseling Center ( KB), village or sub-district level and the Family Assistance Team (TPK) as field agents directly provide assistance to toddlers and toddlers at risk of stunting, in addition to facilitating referrals and social assistance. Based on data, the stunting rate is decreasing from 2019-2023 in Kuantan Singingi Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the multisector and multidimensional approach model is in efforts to prevent stunting in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used qualitative descriptive approach. The selection of informants using a purposive sample of 5 people : 1 person from the Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP2KBP3A), 1 person Health Service, 1 person Health Center, 1 person the Stunting Acceleration Team (TPPS) and 1 person from the head of Posyandu. Data collection used in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation studies. Data analysis used qualitative analysis. The results showed that the multisector approach model was integrated from the central level, provincial level, district/city, external to village. Collaborating with the Education, Health, social, economic, agricultural, plantation sectors, etc. involving the central and regional governments, Community Institutions, community leaders and the general public. Multidimensional targets are mothers, toddlers, teenagers, prospective brides, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. The results show that stunting rates are decrease. Supporting factors are government support and an integrated stunting prevention education model with various sectors.
