Abstract

Early childhood emotional development varies greatly and is complex from one child to another. This research was conducted at RA Muslimat NU 27 located in Malang City. This study aims to identify aspects of emotional development of children aged 5-6 years in group B at RA Muslimat NU 27 Malang City. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach through case studies. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. The results show that the understanding and role of the teacher is very influential in optimizing children's emotional development. Children are able to express emotions well, show confidence when performing in front of the class, and are able to manage their emotions. A positive school environment and teacher guidance are key factors in children's emotional development. This research provides insight into the importance of emotional support in early childhood

Abstract

Di Kota Malang, masih banyak anak muda yang ingin menikah sebelum waktunya. Jumlah permohonan dispensasi kawin di Pengadilan Agama Kota Malang meningkat setiap tahunnya. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan fenomena anak tanpa bapak di Indonesia adalah ketidakmampuan generasi Z untuk mempersiapkan pernikahan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan seberapa jauh Generasi Z laki-laki di Kecamatan Blimbing melihat keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah angket atau kuesioner, dan metode analisis adalah persentase. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pandangan generasi Z tentang menjadi ayah dianggap positif. Sebagian besar responden berpendapat bahwa menjadi ayah memerlukan persiapan dan sulit, tetapi dapat dipelajari dengan berbagai cara; 2) Generasi Z akan menerapkan pola asuh demokratis saat menjadi orang tua; dan 3) Persepsi generasi Z laki-laki tentang pentingnya mendidik ayah sangat tinggi. Sebagian responden berpendapat bahwa partisipasi ayah dalam pengasuhan anak berdampak positif pada perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Cooperation skills are an essential aspect of early childhood social development that need to be optimally stimulated through meaningful and enjoyable learning activities. However, preliminary observations at TK IT Al-Rahbini Gondanglegi, Malang Regency, indicated that the cooperation skills of children aged 5–6 years had not developed optimally, as reflected in low participation in group activities and a tendency to engage in individual play. This study aimed to examine the effect of the thousand hand chain hula hoop game on the cooperative behavior of children aged 5–6 years. This research employed a quantitative approach using a simple experimental research design. The research subjects consisted of 25 children from Group B at TK IT Al-Rahbini Gondanglegi. Data were collected through structured observation of children’s cooperative behaviors, including interaction skills, role sharing, turn-taking, and helping peers. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of the thousand hand chain hula hoop game had a positive effect on improving children’s cooperative behavior. Children demonstrated enhanced abilities in communication, cooperation, and completing tasks collaboratively. Therefore, the thousand hand chain hula hoop game can be considered an effective alternative learning activity for fostering cooperative behavior in early childhood education.

Abstract

Kemampuan mengenal warna merupakan bagian penting dari perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini, namun pada praktiknya masih banyak anak usia 4–5 tahun yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membedakan dan menyebutkan warna dasar akibat keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas media permainan edukatif Nana Varna berbasis website dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak usia 4–5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, serta menerapkan pendekatan campuran (kualitatif dan kuantitatif) dalam proses evaluasi produk. Uji coba dilakukan di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini di Kota Malang dengan melibatkan 30 anak kelompok A sebagai subjek penelitian, serta guru dan orang tua sebagai responden pendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan Nana Varna mampu meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal dan membedakan warna dasar, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor setelah penggunaan media dibandingkan sebelum penggunaan. Selain itu, hasil validasi ahli dan tanggapan praktisi pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa media Nana Varna dinyatakan valid, menarik, dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, media permainan Nana Varna berbasis website dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran digital yang inovatif dan efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran pengenalan warna pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research is important because it discusses the integration of practical life skills as a fundamental component for realizing student well-being. The aim is to investigate in depth the role of these skills-based student development activities. This research adopted a qualitative approach with a single case study design at BA Restu 1, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis included data condensation, presentation, and verification. The results show that the student development program realizes child well-being through four aspects practical life skills that form the foundation for independence and self-confidence; social skills development that fosters a sense of belonging; integration of character development that transforms moral values into concrete behavior; and interest-based curriculum that increases children's autonomy and intrinsic motivation. The implication of these findings is holistic student development program is a fundamental component, not merely an addition, in creating a learning environment that supports children's holistic development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyse an innovative management model for early childhood learning grounded in local culture, leveraging digital technology. The research focuses on developing a learning management system integrated with the values of cultural wisdom “Kedirian” through an interactive digital storytelling application. The approach used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre- and post-tests. The results of the study indicate that implementing this innovative management model significantly increases children’s active participation, strengthens their understanding of character values, including honesty, cooperation, and patience, and develops their socio-emotional skills in early childhood. The main product of this research is the Dongeng Digital Nusantara Kediri application, which uses Generative AI to present local fairy tales such as the Legend of Mount Kelud and Calon Arang in interactive visual and audio formats. These findings emphasise the importance of integrating technology and culture in early childhood learning management to shape a young generation with character, rooted in local culture, in the digital era.
