Abstract

This research examines the integration of cognitivism learning theory in the context of Islamic education to optimize the learning process. The theory of cognitivism which emphasizes students' internal mental processes has significant relevance to the concept of Islamic education which prioritizes developing the potential of reason and spirituality. Through a qualitative approach with literature study methods, this research analyzes how the principles of cognitivism in Islamic educational prospective create meaningful learning. The results of the study show that cognitivism theory is in line with Islamic teachings which encourage the use of reason to understand science. The learning process in Islamic education can be enriched with cognitivism strategies such as information processing, the formation of knowledge schemes, and the development of metacognitive abilities. This integration allows students to not only understand the material in depth, but also develop critical thinking skills while still upholding Islamic values. Apart from the convergence between the two, there is also a divergence towards the implementation of cognitivism theory and Islamic education has the potential to create more effective learning. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of learning models in Islamic education that accommodate students' cognitive development without ignoring Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan perencanaan anggaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan pembangunan di Kabupaten Pinrang. Perencanaan anggaran daerah dipandang sebagai instrumen penting dalam mengarahkan program pembangunan agar sesuai dengan visi dan misi pemerintah daerah, sementara partisipasi masyarakat melalui forum Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) menjadi faktor penentu kesesuaian program dengan kebutuhan nyata di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, serta telaah dokumen. Informan penelitian terdiri atas pegawai BAPPEDA Kabupaten Pinrang dan tokoh masyarakat yang berpartisipasi dalam perencanaan pembangunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan anggaran berperan sebagai pedoman dalam penyusunan, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian program pembangunan daerah, sedangkan partisipasi masyarakat berkontribusi dalam penentuan prioritas program dan distribusi sumber daya secara lebih adil. Sinergi keduanya mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembangunan, memperkuat akuntabilitas, serta mendorong tercapainya target pembangunan berkelanjutan di tingkat daerah. Dengan demikian, pembangunan di Kabupaten Pinrang tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh kualitas perencanaan teknokratis pemerintah, tetapi juga oleh keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in interactive learning on improving students' numeracy literacy. The research method used is a mixed method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were obtained through numeracy literacy tests before and after the application of AI, while qualitative data were collected through observations and interviews. The results showed a significant increase in students' numeracy literacy scores after using AI, with normalized gain values indicating high effectiveness. In addition, observations and interviews revealed that students were more active, independent, and engaged in AI-based learning, despite obstacles such as limited access to technology and the need for additional guidance from lecturers. In conclusion, AI contributes positively to improving students' numeracy literacy, but optimizing its application requires adequate infrastructure support and combination with conventional learning methods. This research provides implications for the development of AI-based educational technology in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of legal protection of copyright in supporting the economy of songwriters in Makassar City, while evaluating the contribution of the Yayasan Karya Cipta Indonesia (YKCI) in optimizing the utilization of the economic rights of songwriters in the region. The research locations include Jakarta and Makassar, with a focus on the Head Office of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights, the Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sulawesi, and the Office of the Yayasan Karya Cipta Indonesia. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The government has not provided direct protection for songwriters regarding the receipt of royalties. Current protection is still limited to the implementation of laws and educational efforts to prevent violations. Songwriters need to play an active role in protecting their own rights or hand over the management of these rights to a Collective Management Institution such as YKCI, which is tasked with managing and collecting royalties from users. 2) YKCI has an important role in managing songwriter royalties in Makassar, namely as a collective management institution that collects and distributes royalties to creators. In addition, YKCI also plays a role in taking legal action, both criminal and civil, and demanding compensation if there is a violation of copyright on the songs they manage.

Abstract

ELPSA (Experiences, Language, Pictures, Symbols, and Application) learning approach is a method designed to improve students' mathematical understanding through direct experience, language use, visual representation, symbolization, and application in real life. This study aims to analyze the effect of ELPSA approach on the mathematical ability of grade XI students of SMK Permata Ilmu. The method used in this research is pretest-posttest design with a population of all students in grade XI of SMK Permata Ilmu and a sample of 32 students. Data were collected through mathematical ability tests before and after the application of ELPSA, which were then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using paired t-test. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the average student score from 55.31 (pretest) to 78.94 (posttest). The paired t-test resulted in a t-count value of 12.45, greater than the t-table (2.04) with a p-value (0.000) <0.05, so it can be concluded that ELPSA has a significant effect on improving students' mathematical abilities. These results support the application of ELPSA as an effective alternative learning method in improving students' mathematical concept understanding.
