Abstract

Abstract The total claims for JKN-KIS deliveries in 2019 was Rp. 23.6 trillion, including sectio caesarea Rp. 18.7 trillion and vaginal delivery Rp. 4.8 trillion. Hospital baserate provides information on profits or losses of hospitals with this payment. This study aims to analyze the hospital baserate of delivery claims at Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Hospital (RSMA) East Java. Longitudinal retrospective study was conducted 2017-2024 claim in 24 hospitals. The results showed the hospital baserate for deliveries was higher than the tariff, except for RSMA C9 and D12, means they get benefits from claims. The results of the Spearman rank correlation test showed that there was no relationship between hospital classification and the length of care for vaginal delivery (p: 0.06) and cesarean delivery (p: 0.825), between hospital classification and length of stay with surplus/deficit vaginal delivery (p:0.243) and cesarean section (p:0.086). The East Java's RSMA hasn't been efficiently managed JKN-KIS delivery claims and must monitor the hospital baserate regularly. Hospital baserate is instrument for strategic decision-making to improve quality and efficiency. Keywords: hospital baserate, JKN-KIS, delivery

A reliable internal quality assurance system is one of the keys to ensuring the hospital management process is in accordance with the vision and mission as well as improving quality and patient safety. The purpose of this community service was to conduct training and mentoring at Bunda General Hospital to develop digitization-based priority quality indicators. The community service methods that have been applied include mentoring and training to 40-unit leaders. The media used were leaflets, logbooks, and training manuals. This community service was carried out in December 2023. At the end of the activity, the results showed an increase in the knowledge of the head of the unit in compiling hospital quality indicators. The increase in knowledge and skills in preparing quality indicators before training has an average score of 45, after training knowledge and skills increase with an average score of 91. Training and assistance to unit heads at Bunda Hospital in compiling quality indicators is needed as a benchmark for unit performance to improve the quality of Bunda Hospital services. The quality of hospital services can be improved directly with intensive assistance in compiling performance indicators.

Kruskal-Wallis test was performed to compare the Google rating between each ownership, and simple logistic regression was performed to examine the association between hospital ownership and Google star rating.  Of 31 regions, private hospitals (both competitor and RSM) had the highest rating in 22 regions when compared in their respective region. Private competitor hospital had the highest median (4.2 (3.9-4.7)), followed by RSM (4.1 (3.1-4.7)) and RSUD (4.0 (2.8-4.8)). Generally, a significant difference was found between RSUD and private competitor hospital (p<0.05), while between RSM and private competitor or RSUD were not significant. Logistic regression showed a significant association between hospital ownership and Google rating, with being a private competitor being likely to have a higher rating compared to RSUD (OR (95% CI): 8.10 (1.46-45.06)). Abstract

Background: The research explores the advancements and implications of e-prescribing systems within modern healthcare. Objective: The primary objective is to assess the growing body of literature, examining global trends, effectiveness, and challenges associated with e-prescribing implementation. Methods: Using a comprehensive literature review methodology, data were sourced from the Scopus database, revealing many publications from 1980 to 2024.Results: A notable increase in scholarly interest was observed, particularly from 2015 to 2024, highlighting e-prescribing as a mature research subject. The results indicate a high concentration of research activity in advanced healthcare systems, contrasting with the limited contribution from developing contexts such as Indonesia. Conclusion: The study identifies that while e-prescribing improves medication safety and efficiency, gaps in understanding its long-term impacts on patient outcomes persist. Additionally, disparities in technology adoption among demographic groups emerge as significant barriers. This research contributes to existing knowledge by underscoring the need for localized studies and international collaboration to enhance e-prescribing practices. Future research directions should focus on evaluating long-term outcomes, improving digital literacy, and assessing training impacts on healthcare professionals.
