Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted with the aim of proving the effect of online learning with the google classroom application on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 248 Jakarta. The sample in this study was determined using the proportional random sampling technique using the slovin formula at a significance level of 5%. This study used a sample of 154 respondents with analytical requirements testing techniques consisting of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing with simple linear regression analysis tests which included regression equations, linearity tests, correlation coefficient tests, R2 tests and t tests. The results of the research are, there is a significant positive effect on the distance learning variable with the google classroom application on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects. Variable online learning with the google classroom application has an effect of 62.6% on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects, while the other 37.4% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied in this study. Keywords: Online Learning, Google classroom, Assertive Ability Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh pembelajaran daring dengan aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 248 Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik Proportionate Random Sampling menggunakan rumus slovin pada taraf signifikansi yaitu 5%. Penelitian ini menggunakan 154 sampel responden dengan teknik pengujian syarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas serta uji hipotesis dengan uji analisis regresi liniear sederhana yang meliputi persamaan regresi, uji linearitas, uji koefisien korelasi, uji R2 dan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan pada variabel pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS. Variabel pembelajaran daring dengan aplikasi google classroom berpengaruh 62,6% terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS, sementara itu 37,4% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini. Abstract

Abstract Spatial thinking is the ability to understand the context of space and space. While the map is a medium as well as a representation of the context of space on the earth's surface. So having the ability to think spatially allows map readers to visualize and analyze spatial relationships between objects on the earth's surface. This study aims to measure the ability to think spatially in students who have taken a course in mapping science. The research was carried out in the Social Sciences Education Study Program with a sample of 25 students. The method used is descriptive with data collection in the form of spatial thinking ability tests. The results showed that students who passed the mapping science course had varied understandings and abilities. The overall test results showed 20% of students had very good scores, 24% of students had good grades, 32% of students had poor grades and 24% of students had very poor grades. In conclusion, the mapping science course has not maximally produced students' spatial thinking skills. Keywords: Spatial thinking, Mapping science Abstrak Berpikir spasial merupakan kemampuan dalam memahami konteks ruang dan keruangan. Sedangkan peta adalah media sekaligus representasi dari konteks ruang dipermukaan bumi. Maka dengan memiliki kemampuan berpikir spasial memungkinkan pembaca peta dapat memvisualisasikan dan menganalisis hubungan spasial antar objek permukaan bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir spasial pada mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah ilmu perpetaan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program studi Pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan sosial dengan sampel 25 mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan berpikir spasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan mahasiswa yang lulus pada mata kuliah ilmu perpetaan memiliki pemahaman dan kemampuan yang bervariasi. Hasil tes secara keseluruhan menunjukan 20% mahasiswa memiliki nilai sangat baik, 24% mahasiswa memiliki nilai baik, 32% mahasiswa memiliki nilai kurang dan 24% mahasiswa memiliki nilai kurang sekali. Kesimpulannya mata kuliah ilmu perpetaan belum secara maksimal membentuk kemampuan berpikir spasial pada mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Berpikir spasial, ilmu perpetaan

Abstract

The objective of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students achievement and active participation in Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 172 Jakarta in the Social Studies subject. This research is based on the importance of preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century, which require critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 35 students from class VIII-3 as participants. There are two cycles in this study, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. In the first cycle, although PBL was implemented, only 43% of students scored above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 80, with an average score of 71. Additionally, their activeness in asking questions, answering, expressing opinions, and solving problems was still low. Reflection indicated that students needed time to adapt to PBL and required more motivation from the teacher. In the second cycle, after improvements were made, there was a significant increase. As many as 89% of students scored above the KKM of 80, with an average score of 88. Student activeness also increased with more active participation in class activities. This shows that students better understood and adapted to the PBL model and received better encouragement from the teacher. In conclusion, the implementation of the PBL model is effective in improving students achievement and active participation in the Social Studies subject at SMP Negeri 172 Jakarta. This is evidenced by the significant increase in students average scores and their active participation in learning. The PBL model is capable of stimulating students critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills, as well as enhancing their engagement in learning, creating a more conducive and efficient environment for achieving educational goals.

Abstract

The interest of students to become teachers is very worrying, as well as education students to become teachers really need attention. The importance of interest as a motivation for prospective teacher students to become professional teachers is the basis for the need to increase student interest in becoming teachers. This research aims to determine the influence of the campus teaching program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students participating in the campus teaching program. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this research were Jakarta State University students participating in the class 5 teaching campus program. The results of the research showed that there was a positive influence of the teaching campus program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students as indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.479. This means that every time there is an addition of one unit of the campus teaching program variable, the value of the variable interest in becoming a teacher increases by 0.479. This interest is supported by campus teaching programs, feelings about teaching, attention to the quality of education, ideals, and perceptions of the teacher's profession & welfare. Meanwhile, what hinders students from becoming teachers is mostly influenced by the perception of the teacher's profession and welfare as well as social friends. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the campus teaching program has a positive effect on the interest in becoming teachers at Jakarta State University students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi dan bentuk-bentuk penyalahgunaan dana beasiswa Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU) oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial & Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena maraknya penggunaan dana beasiswa yang tidak sesuai dengan peruntukannya, seperti digunakan untuk keperluan konsumtif, hiburan, hingga investasi pribadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap sebelas mahasiswa penerima KJMU serta satu koordinator fakultas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi penyalahgunaan dana KJMU berasal dari dua faktor utama: internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi niat, sifat oportunistik, dan ketidakmampuan mengelola emosi. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal mencakup tekanan ekonomi keluarga dan perilaku yang dipelajari dari lingkungan sosial. Bentuk penyalahgunaan yang ditemukan meliputi penggunaan dana untuk keperluan non-akademik seperti belanja online, hiburan, kontribusi rumah tangga, hingga memanipulasi dokumen administratif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program KJMU memerlukan sistem pengawasan dan pendampingan yang lebih ketat agar tujuan program dapat tercapai secara optimal.

Abstract

This research have a purpose to prove the influence of social support on self confidence of students at SMAN 100 Jakarta. This research was motivated by the large number of students who feel inferior or lack self-confidence so that it can interfere with and hinder the improvement of their achievements, skills, or interests both academically and non-academically. Quantitative with a sampling technique, namely simple random sampling, is the foundation of this study. Students of SMA Negeri 100 Jakarta class 10 became the population in the study conducted. With an R Square value of 0.512, it proves that there is an influence of social support on self-confidence which is presented at 51.2%, while 48.8% is the contribution of variables other than social support such as self-concept which the researcher did not include in this study. The findings are reinforced by the t-test analysis value with an acquisition of 15.928> 1.978 which can be concluded that there is an influence of social support on the self-confidence of class X students at SMA Negeri 100 Jakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan minimnya partisipasi aktif peserta didik kelas VII-F SMP Negeri 92 Jakarta yang masih memakai metode konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPS melalui media video dokumenter. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus, mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes terhadap 36 peserta didik. Hasil menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 72,22% ke 91,67%, dan rata-rata nilai dari 80,25 ke 87,78. Keaktifan belajar juga meningkat dalam bertanya, menjawab, berpendapat, dan kerja sama, dengan kategori “sangat aktif” berkisar 72%–78%. Media video dokumenter terbukti efektif mendukung pembelajaran yang visual, kontekstual, dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas bergantung pada kompetensi profesional guru, dan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tersebut. Namun, observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi guru dalam MGMP IPS di Kabupaten Bogor Wilayah Tengah masih rendah, yang berpotensi berdampak pada kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran MGMP IPS dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di Kabupaten Bogor Wilayah Tengah serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengambilan sampel melalui purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pengurus dan anggota MGMP IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MGMP IPS berperan sebagai reformator, mediator, supporting agency, kolaborator, evaluator, dan supervisor dalam pengembangan kompetensi guru. Namun, kendala yang dihadapi meliputi rendahnya partisipasi anggota, kurangnya regenerasi kepengurusan, dan keterbatasan dukungan dari institusi sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan MGMP dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Kabupaten Bogor Wilayah Tengah

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum, which has been in place for over three years, emphasizes the development of students' character and competencies. One of the standout features of this curriculum is the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), designed to help students embody the values of Pancasila, such as integrity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. As part of this project, co-curricular activities are allocated up to 30% of the learning time, allowing students to engage in meaningful, real-world applications of their education. This initiative, however, is not yet fully maximized in some schools in DKI Jakarta, despite the city's advantages in terms of educational infrastructure and resources. While Jakarta, as Indonesia's capital, boasts considerable educational potential, it also faces unique environmental challenges, including pollution and waste management issues. These challenges, however, offer opportunities for students to become involved in projects that focus on environmental sustainability, making the P5 project even more relevant. Unfortunately, many teachers in the city are still struggling to design and implement effective P5 modules, which hinders the full impact of the program. Without proper training or access to well-structured project modules, teachers often find it difficult to foster the kind of interdisciplinary and practical learning experiences that the curriculum envisions. To address these gaps, it is essential to focus on strengthening teachers’ competencies in developing and implementing P5 modules through targeted mentoring programs. These programs should include lectures on best practices, interactive discussions that allow teachers to share experiences, question-and-answer sessions to address challenges, and practical exercises in module creation. The ultimate goal is to equip teachers with the skills and knowledge necessary to design modules that incorporate local environmental issues, thus making the P5 project more relevant and impactful for students.

Abstract

The presence of changes and improvements in transportation modes seems to bring a bad news for conventional city transportation drivers in Jakarta, because not all of them are able to adapt to these changes. The aim of this research is to determine the factors of conventional city transport drivers who persist with the conventional system and to determine the adaptation strategies carried out to survive after the presence of the Jak Lingko Microtrans. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and observations. The subjects in this research were conventional city transport drivers on the T.09 route Kalisari – Pasar Rebo. The research results show that conventional transport drivers still persist with the legal system due to: 1) Age factor, 2) Regulatory barriers, 3) Incentives, 4) Community needs, and 5) Distrust of operators. Then, the strategies used by city transport drivers are 1) active strategy by utilizing their own abilities, 2) passive by minimizing expenses, and 3) Networking by utilizing relationships and relatives. So it can be concluded that conventional transport drivers still persist with the conventional system due to several obstacles ranging from internal and external and in meeting their daily needs, these drivers use adaptation strategies as an alternative step amidst the problems they face.
