Abstract

Pembelajaran daring yang dialami oleh para siswa yang tinggal di panti asuhan memiliki kendala tersendiri dibandingkan para siswa yang tinggal bersama orangtuanya. Ketiadaan media elektronik yang memadai dan keterbatasan kapasitas pengasuh yang mumpuni menjadi kendala bagi para siswa ini. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris kepada anak-anak sekolah penghuni Panti Asuhan Bunda Pengharapan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengajaran berkelompok sesuai jenjang pendidikan pada tingkat TK-SD kelas kecil, SD kelas besar, SMP, dan SMA/SMK, serta kegiatan bersama dalam satu komunitas. Metode pendampingan berupa permainan, one-on-one tutoring, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan respon positif yang ditunjukkan dengan tingginya antusiasme anak-anak panti asuhan dalam mengikuti semua kegiatan pembelajaran dan bertambahnya rasa percaya diri mereka dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Research on the influence of product design, product quality and brand awareness on purchasing decisions for Grand Batam Mall Starbuck’s product is an experiment based on the researcher’s  experience and other Starbucks consumers which refers to the influence of design, quality and brand awareness of Starbucks products. This research aims to describe the influence of product design, product quality, and product brand awareness on a decision to purchase Starbuck’s product. This research uses quantitative research methods with the treatment of determining the population and samples that will be collected through distributing questionnaires. There is a total sample of 100 using the Lemeshow formula and it is determined that product design has a positive influence on buyer decisions (t count 2.927 > t table 1.985 and Sig. 0.004 < 0.05), product quality has a positive influence on buyer decisions (t count 4.675 > t table 1.985 and Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), and brand awareness has a positive influence on buyer decisions (t count 3.719 > t table 1.985 and Sig. 0.002 < 0.05). So it can be concluded that the design, quality and brand awareness of the product really influence the decision results of Grand Batam Mall Starbucks consumers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh terhadap Audit Report Lag dengan Reputasi KAP sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2021-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling diperoleh 406 perusahaan. Pengujian ini menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS versi 3. Secara parsial ditunjukkan bahwa Solvabilitas, Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, dan Opini Audit tidak berpengaruh namun, Audit Tenure dan Ukuran Perusahaan secara signifikan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Audit Report Lag. Reputasi KAP tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh antara variabel Solvabilitas, Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Audit Tenure, dan Opini Audit terhadap Audit Report Lag. Akan tetapi mampu memoderasi pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Audit Report Lag.

Abstract

Classroom presentation is an essential aspect of EFL students' speaking skills, as it involves actively conveying and expressing ideas in front of an audience. However, this activity often causes anxiety that can hinder students' performance. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the various factors that might contribute to the anxiety experienced by EFL students during classroom presentations, as well as identify coping strategies that can help them address their anxiety and enhance their speaking skills. In this study, mixed methods were used by combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to obtain a more in-depth understanding of students' anxiety and the efforts that can be carried out to reduce its impact on speaking performance. The results showed that most students experienced medium level of learning anxiety, while their speaking ability was quite good. However, the relationship between anxiety and presentation skills in English did not show a strong enough correlation. Qualitatively, anxiety affects cognitive impairment, fluency and cohesiveness in speaking, as well as students' confidence level. In addition, the results of this study also highlighted some effective strategies that can be implemented to effectively manage anxiety, such as applying breathing techniques, practicing regularly, and speaking at a slow tempo. Therefore, students are advised to make a more thorough preparation before making an English presentation in class to increase their confidence and speaking fluency.

Abstract

Oasis Mart Wailela Ambon merupakan swalayan modern yang melayani kebutuhan pokok masyarakat. Dalam operasionalnya, pengelolaan arus kas keluar merupakan aspek penting yang menentukan efisiensi dan akuntabilitas keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi akuntansi pada siklus pengeluaran kas melalui desain Data Flow Diagram dan Flowchart dengan menggunakan metode service learning. Metode service learning merupakan metode yang menggabungkan kegiatan akademik dan pelayanan nyata kepada masyarakat. Proses meliputi observasi langsung dan wawancara kepada staf Oasis Mart. Hasil proyek menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengeluaran mencakup beberapa tahapan seperti permintaan barang, pemesanan ke supplier, verifikasi, pembayaran, hingga pelaporan. Kemudian, hasil dari proyek tersebut dibuatkan ke dalam Data Flow Diagram dan Flowchart menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Office Visio untuk mempermudah Oasis Mart dalam melihat alur pengeluaran serta mendeteksi ancaman dan kecurangan yang terjadi. Hasil desain ini juga menunjukan bahwa sistem yang baik sangat diperlukan untuk membantu usaha dalam meningkatkan efektivitas operasionalnya. Oasis Mart juga menerapkan sistem ELYOSIS, dengan sistem ini Oasis Mart berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi pengeluaran operasional. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa dokumentasi sistem melalui Data Flow Diagram dan Flowchart dapat menjadi acuan perbaikan sistem pengeluaran pada usaha ritel sejenis.

Abstract

Asuransi kesehatan saat ini menjadi salah satu hal yang banyak orang persiapkan dikarenakan adanya ketidakpastian risiko kesehatan dan biaya layanan kesehatan yang semakin naik. Perhitungan premi tiap individu dapat berbeda dikarenakan terdapat perbedaan profil kesehatan seperti usia, BMI maupun gaya hidup seperti merokok yang membuat perusahaan asuransi harus memperhitungkan premi dengan akurat agar tidak menimbulkan kerugian finansial dan sesuai dengan tingkat risiko terjadinya klaim. Adapaun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan komparasi antara algoritma Random Forest dan XGBoost dalam memprediksi premi asuransi kesehatan berdasarkan beberapa faktor yang sulit dihitung secara manual. Evaluasi dilihat berdasarkan metrik regresi yaitu MAE, MSE, RMSE, dan R2. Pada penelitian ini, algoritma Random Forest berhasil memprediksi premi asuransi kesehatan lebih baik dari XGBoost dengan nilai MAE 2.573, MSE 24199792,43 RMSE 4919, 33 dan R2 sebesar 84.04%.
