Writing training at the high school level in Yogyakarta has been going well. However, there are many problems in its implementation due to the lack of competitive motivation among teachers or school institutions. This lack of motivation causes teachers' self-confidence to decrease and students are not optimal in the process of increasing literacy. This article is the output of writing training in schools for SMA/SMK/MA teachers in an effort to increase student literacy which can create motivation for students to think critically and achieve. By using a participatory action research approach, this community (PKM) seeks to overcome demotivation regarding the ability to write scientific papers and essays at the high school level in Yogyakarta which is caused by many students who are not interested and are less competitive in the field of writing. The results of PKM that have been achieved are increased motivation of teachers and students’ writing abilities, especially in the context of writing and presentation competitions. This PKM has also succeeded in creating collaboration between institutions, both between schools and between private institutions, which will be managed in the future in the context of developing writing and increasing student literacy.

Changes upon changes in anatomical elements on book covers are common in the publishing industry. However, changes in anatomical elements have always been read as meaningless. This research aims to describe the meaning of changes in the anatomy of book covers in indie publishers in Yogyakarta. This research method uses deconstructive qualitative analysis using book anatomy concepts from experts, including Michael Bhaskar. The results of this study show three patterns of change construction. First is layout construction. This layout-based anatomical change uses a templateable technique that attracts the reader's attention. Second, colour construction: This design pattern was applied to publishers who thought white could be a publication's identity. Third, construction of totality: This last part is a significant finding because of all the anatomical elements used by mainstream publishers; there is one publisher that negates the existence of critical anatomical elements that are not used, namely ISBN.

In carrying out research, the role of reference sources, previous research, and research novelty are fundamental and cannot be separated. However, problems arise when in writing, these three elements cannot be described optimally so that the flow of the research problem, research urgency, reference sources and methods used cannot be formulated optimally. Therefore, this article will explain the definitions and concepts of key references, state of the art, and novelty. This study will use the literature review method by analyzing various types of literature sources that are relevant to the topic of discussion. The results of the study show that key references mean the main reference sources used by researchers (key books). State of the Art means the process of identifying previous research to look for gaps. Lastly, research novelty means that a researcher must be able to make research findings or novelty.

Resistance, in its various dimensions, often appears in the stories of Indonesian novels that depict the social, political, and cultural complexities of society. One example of this resistance can be found in Papua, which has yet to find a proper resolution. This resistance is largely triggered by the injustice felt by the Papuan people due to the hegemony of power imposed by the government. Using a qualitative-descriptive method, this study aims to understand the counter-hegemony reflected in the behaviors of the characters in the novel Sentuh Papua, 1500 Miles, 153 Days, One Love by Aprila R.A. Wayar. The findings of this research reveal various forms of resistance. These include violent resistance carried out by the character Lazarus and the Papuan people; passive resistance by the characters Rohan, Amelia, and political refugees; and humanistic resistance by the characters Filep Karma, Figure Theys Hiyo, Agus, Ben Tanggahma, and Hindom.Keywords: Gramsci, counter-hegemony, novel, Papua, resistance. Abstrak Perlawanan, dalam berbagai dimensinya, sering muncul dalam cerita novel-novel Indonesia yang menggambarkan kompleksitas sosial, politik, dan budaya masyarakat. Salah satu contoh perlawanan ini terdapat di Papua, yang hingga kini belum menemukan solusi yang memadai. Perlawanan tersebut sebagian besar dipicu oleh ketidakadilan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat Papua akibat hegemoni kekuasaan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah. Menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh pemahaman tentang counter-hegemony yang tercermin dalam perilaku tokoh-tokoh dalam novel Sentuh Papua, 1500 Miles, 153 Hari, Satu Cinta karya Aprila R.A. Wayar. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya bentuk-bentuk perlawanan. Perlawanan tersebut terdiri atas perlawanan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh Lazarus dan masyarakat Papua; perlawanan pasif oleh tokoh Rohan, tokoh Amelia, dan pengungsi politik; dan perlawanan humanistik oleh tokoh Filep Karma, tokoh Figure Theys Hiyo, dan tokoh Agus, Ben Tanggahma serta Hindom.Kata kunci: Gramsci, counter-hegemoni, novel, Papua, perlawanan

In efforts to develop students’ literacy skills at school, teachers and schools have an important role. With the high quality of teacher literacy in schools, teachers will have broad insight to design literacy learning that encourages students to have the ability to think critically, through understanding, using, evaluating, reflecting on various types of texts to solve problems, and developing individual capacity so they can contribute productively. to society. This Community Service Program with the topic Strengthening Literacy in Literary Texts was carried out at SMA UII Yogyakarta. The method of this service is training and workshops. In addition, adult education methods (andragogy) are also applied using a process approach model. The program implemented is in the form of training. First, "Literary Literacy Insights"; second, "Writing Training"; third, "Writing Assistance"; fourth, "Finalization of Written Products", and fifth "Publishing Works". Through this teacher training, it is hoped that students can be formed who are not only academically intelligent, but also have intellectual depth, emotional sensitivity and a deep understanding of human values.
