Abstract

This research aims to uncover the relationship between Anjala Ombong Tradition and Selayar community in a geographical perspective. This study uses a qualitative design with a geographical approach. Data collected by using in–depth interview, field observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by using spatial approach, ecological approach, and regional complex approach. The results of this research show that the spatial perspective of Anjala Ombong tradition is the typical conditions of Sangkulu–Kulu River Estuary, that is: the water conditions including salinity (22%), current strength of water (0.071 m/s), water depth (1–1.2 m), and surface temperature (28oC) at July–August, the conditions are suitable for the environment of juku 'lompa. Ecological perspectives in the Anjala Ombong tradition appear in human interaction with the environment, namely the prohibition of fishing, catching juku lompa rollers, the installation of uhara, violations of the restrictions in tradition, and restrictions on fishing time. The regional–complex perspective of Anjala Ombong tradition can be seen by areal differentiation that creates interaction between one region and another, namely: the migration of juku  lompa from Komba Beach headed for the Sangkulu–Kulu River Estuary and the change in the time of the tradition due to external factors.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap keterkaitan antara tradisi Anjala Ombong dengan masyarakat Selayar dalam perspektif geografi yang akan diungkap melalui analisis menggunakan pendekatan keruangan, pendekatan ekologis, dan pendekatan kompleks wilayah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif keruangan dalam tradisi Anjala Ombong tampak pada kekhasan ruang yang dimiliki Muara Sungai Sangkulu–kulu yaitu pada kondisi perairannya meliputi salinitas (22%), kecepatan arus (0,071 m/s), kedalaman perairan (1–1,2 m), dan suhu permukaan (28oC) yang pada bulan Juli–Agustus memiliki kondisi yang sesuai dengan lingkungan hidup juku’ lompa. Perspektif ekologis dalam tradisi Anjala Ombong tampak pada interaksi manusia dengan lingkungannya yaitu larangan menangkap ikan, penangkapan juku’ lompa beramai–ramai, pemasangan uhara, adanya pelanggaran terhadap larangan–larangan dalam tradisi, dan pembatasan waktu penangkapan ikan. Perspektif kompleks–wilayah dalam tradisi Anjala Ombong tampak pada adanya areal differentiation yang menciptakan interaksi antara wilayah yang satu dengan wilayah lainnya yaitu migrasi juku’ lompa dari Pantai Komba menuju Muara Sungai Sangkulu–kulu dan adanya perubahan waktu pelaksanaan tradisi karena adanya faktor dari luar.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of student from class X 2 SMAN 2 Selayar. This research uses the Discovery Learning Model through Puzzle Games, with each cycle consisting of planning stages, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this research were students in class X 2 of SMA Negeri 2 Selayar for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data  sources were obtained from teachers and students. The data collection is carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, summative assessments, and documentation that will be analyzed descriptive qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of learning using the Discovery Learning through puzzle games can improve the learning outcomes and activities students of class X 2 at SMA Negeri 2 Selayar. On first cycle , the percentage of achievement of student learning activities was 71.875% then increased in second cycle to 93.23%. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the knowledge aspect in the pre-cycle reaching 37.5% completeness, in the first cycle reaching 56.25% completeness and increasing in the second cycle with 93.75% completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal Sero, one of the local wisdom in Selayar that maintained the existence of sea waters in Selayar Islands Regency by using geographical analyses, namely ecological analysis. Each data in the study was obtained using in-depth interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that through the analysis of human interaction with the environment (Men ↔ Environment Theme of Analysis), three motives influenced the behavior of Sero fishermen in Bungaiya Village, namely cultural motives, aquatic environmental motives, and socio-economic motives. Three factors affect the catch by Sero fishermen in Bungaiya Village, namely the knowledge of Sero fishermen, Sero location, and Sero fishermen's performance, which were obtained through Human Activities ↔ Environment Theme of Analysis (analysis of the interaction between human activities and their environment). In Human Activities ↔ Environment Theme of Analysis (analysis of physical cultural appearance with its environment), it was found that three factors influence the Sero environment, namely fishing activities by Sero fishermen, Sero ownership systems, and local regulations and norms of the fishing community in Bungaiya Village.

Abstract

Latar Belakang:  Era Kurikulum Merdeka yang identik dengan penggunaan teknologi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran guna menciptakan evaluasi  menyenangkan dan memudahkan guru dalam pelaksanaan asesmen, namun masih banyak sekolah-sekolah yang penerapannya belum maksimal, seperti di UPT SMPN Todakke No.21 Kepulauan Selayar kebanyakan asesmen masih menggunakan ujian tertulis, sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam mengadaptasi teknologi digital. Tujuan: Tujuan dari pelaksanaan PkM ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pemanfaatan platform quizizz untuk asesmen yang lebih efektif. Metode: Metode yang diterapkan dalam PkM ini, yaitu metode presentasi, metode demonstrasi, dan metode simulasi. Hasil: Hasil yang diperoleh setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan hasil yang positif, seluruh guru mata pelajaran mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan terhadap penggunaan platform quizizz untuk pelaksanaan asesmen pembalajaran. Kesimpulan: Pelaksanaan PkM berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan platform Quizizz untuk asesmen yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri mendorong dunia pendidikan untuk bertransformasi seiring dengan kecanggihan teknologi seperti kecerdasan buatan (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), serta sistem siber-fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk inovasi pendidikan yang relevan, efektif, dan kontekstual dalam menghadapi tantangan digital, khususnya di tingkat pendidikan menengah di Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi literatur, ditemukan bahwa keberhasilan inovasi tidak hanya bergantung pada akses teknologi, melainkan juga pada kepemimpinan sekolah, kesiapan guru, dan budaya organisasi yang mendukung perubahan. Berbagai inovasi seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek digital, pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS), serta teknologi immersive seperti Virtual Reality (VR) menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap keterlibatan dan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, hambatan seperti kesenjangan digital di wilayah 3T dan kurangnya integrasi nilai-nilai lokal masih menjadi tantangan utama. Oleh karena itu, inovasi pendidikan masa depan perlu mengintegrasikan aspek teknologi, pedagogi, dan nilai-nilai humanistik untuk membangun ekosistem pembelajaran yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di era digital.Industrial Revolution encourages the world of education to transform along with technological advances such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cyber-physical systems. This research aims to identify relevant, effective, and contextualized forms of educational innovation in facing digital challenges, especially at the secondary education level in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature study, it was found that the success of innovation depends not only on access to technology, but also on school leadership, teacher readiness, and organizational culture that supports change. Various innovations such as digital project-based learning, utilization of Learning Management System (LMS), and immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) show positive impacts on learning engagement and quality. However, barriers such as the digital divide in 3T areas and the lack of integration of local values remain key challenges. Therefore, future educational innovations need to integrate aspects of technology, pedagogy and humanistic values to build an inclusive and sustainable learning ecosystem in the digital era.
