Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the West Java Provincial Department of Industry and Trade through the PASAMOAN (Pasar Minggon Industri dan Perdagangan) Program in supporting the marketing of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products. The study was motivated by limited market access, inadequate promotional activities, and low brand awareness of regional flagship products. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed by collecting data through direct observation during an internship program, supported by documentation of institutional records and official publications. The findings indicate that the PASAMOAN Program serves as an effective promotional platform that expands market access, enhances product exposure and brand awareness, strengthens business networks, and fosters collaboration among government, business actors, and the community. The program also contributes to trade stabilization by providing affordable basic necessities to the public. These findings demonstrate that PASAMOAN is an effective government-facilitated marketing initiative for improving the competitiveness and sustainability of MSME product marketing in West Java Province.

Abstract

Financial data management is a critical element in ensuring orderly, accurate, and accountable financial administration within organizations. At PT Abadi Mitra Zein, limited human resources in the financial administration unit potentially lead to the accumulation of unprocessed transaction data and delays in tax reporting activities. This study aims to examine the financial data management process in supporting corporate tax compliance. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through direct observation, interviews with finance personnel, and document analysis. The findings show that the company implements financial data management through four main stages, namely periodic transaction recording, data classification based on transaction type, systematic archiving of supporting documents, and preparation of financial data for tax calculation purposes. However, constraints such as limited staffing and suboptimal data management systems remain significant obstacles affecting administrative efficiency and reporting timeliness. Strengthening human resource capacity and adopting more structured financial data management systems are therefore essential to improve financial orderliness and support effective tax compliance.

Abstract

Indonesia’s export performance is shaped by various macroeconomic factors that represent both the country’s production capabilities and broader external economic conditions. This study explores how exchange rates, imports, and foreign exchange reserves influence Indonesia’s export activities. In contrast to many earlier studies that examined these variables individually, this research brings them together in one empirical framework to better understand their joint impact on export performance. The analysis is based on annual time-series data from 1995 to 2024, sourced from the World Bank database. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is applied to identify both short-run dynamics and long-run relationships among the variables. Prior to estimation, several econometric procedures are conducted, including unit root testing, optimal lag selection based on the Akaike Information Criterion, bounds testing for cointegration, and diagnostic tests to ensure model reliability. The empirical findings indicate that imports have a positive and statistically significant impact on Indonesia’s exports in both the short term and the long term. Meanwhile, the exchange rate does not appear to have a significant direct influence on export performance. Foreign exchange reserves, on the other hand, show a positive relationship with exports, although the statistical strength of this effect is relatively weaker. Overall, these results suggest that ensuring the availability of imported production inputs and maintaining macroeconomic stability are important factors in supporting sustainable export growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

Budget preparation is a strategic instrument for supporting the effectiveness of work program implementation in public sector organizations. This study aims to analyze the budget preparation process in supporting the effectiveness of work programs at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law of West Java. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing books, scientific articles, regulations, and official documents related to public sector budgeting. Data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis to identify the relationship between the budget preparation process, performance-based budgeting, and work program effectiveness. The findings indicate that budget preparation based on the principles of performance-based budgeting and value for money supports the achievement of organizational objectives through more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable resource allocation. Strengthening coordination, improving the competence of government personnel, optimizing the use of information technology, and conducting continuous evaluation are essential factors in enhancing the quality of budget preparation and the effectiveness of work programs.
