Abstract

At present days stakeholders require the graduates who have the technical skills (Hardskill) as well possess the soft skills. The Hardskills are just not sufficient to deal with the qualification of employers in the real-world of workplace, but need to be equipped with soft skills in order to shape the integrated capabilities as needed by users. To form the student’s soft skills can be implemented through the coaching program in formal learning activities and extracurricular activities. The softskill development of students is necessary to be achieved with concrete efforts, namely: 1) the existence of policies that legalize the implementation of soft skill based on the extracurricular activities in each education unit; 2) systematic and planned soft skills development program; and 3) the softskill dissemination is carried out synergistically involving all parties.

Abstract

Efforts can be done to increase the effectiveness of conventional learning process by making additional interaction extension outside classroom. In this regard, information technology can be utilized. The use of information technology which has same function as the conventional inside classroom learning provided in online learning. This research aims at testing the validity and practicality of Moodle online tutorial. The research uses development design (R&D). The research results show that online tutorial Moodle is valid (95,37%) and practical (80,36%) hence can be used in the online class widely.

Abstract

The research aims at developing a guidebook for designing interactive distance learning for lecturers, considering that lecturers need guidance on how to design a learning implementation process that remains interactive in a full online learning system during the Covid 19 pandemic. The development of a guidebook stage adopted the model of Dick & Carey which modified into 4 stages, namely stages; (1) requirement analysis; (2) product design; (3) validation and evaluation; and (4) product revision. Based on development result, data found as follows; (1) the expert's assessment shows that the guidebook is included in the criteria of "very good" from the media aspect (94.44%) and "good" from the material aspect (86.11%) hence the guidebook can be used in learning; (2) test results on a small group shows that the product developed include in the criteria of “good” (83,33%) hence the guidebook can be used in learning; (3) field test result that the product developed include in the criteria of “good” (89,28%) hence the guidebook can be used in learning. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa kualitas pembelajaran praktikum berdasarkan persepsi dan kepentingan yang diberikan responden. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, nilai Z adalah -2,666 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,008 yaitu apabila kurang dari batas kritis penelitian 0,05 berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara persepsi dan kepentingan. Pemetaan dengan diagram kartesius  untuk menggambarkan posisi faktor-faktor yang menjadi keinginan responden dan mencari prioritas penting untuk dilakukan perbaikan. Indikator mutu “respon yang cepat terhadap program yang baru”, menjadi prioritas utama perbaikan terdapat pada kuadaran A. Responden merasakan atribut tersebut sangat penting dan mempunyai harapan tinggi, tetapi responden belum merasakan kinerja yang maksimal. Pada usulan prioritas perbaikan, akan  berimplikasi manajerialnya secara keseluruhan pada kuadran A, dan B sehingga tidak terjadi penilaian secara subjektif, yang keterkaitan antara hasil penelitian sesuai analisis kesenjangan, kesesuaian, dan uji beda secara.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Kewirausahaan yang dilaksanakan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek cocok untuk mengajarkan keterampilan praktis dalam pegelolaan bisnis, termasuk aspek pemasaran digital (digital marketing). Dengan mempelajari digital marketing, mahasiswa calon lulusan Pendidikan Kejuruan akan lebih siap menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja di era digitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Kewirausahaan berbasis proyek digital marketing dan menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap upaya meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pembelajaran Kewirausahaan berbasis proyek digital marketing dilaksanakan melalui berbagai aktivitas seperti: (a) perancangan bussines plan dengan jenis usaha yang relevan di bidang kejuruan, (b) pemilihan saluran digital marketing, (c) pembuatan konten, (d) pengunggahan konten ke saluran digital marketing, (e) pelaporan, monitoring dan evaluasi; 2) Saluran digital marketing yang digunakan melalui media sosial antara lain WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube dan TikTok; 3) konten digital marketing berupa chat broadcast, status WhatsApp, postingan penjualan produk, flyer/ poster elektronik dan video berdurasi pendek; 4) terjadi peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan memasarkan produk secara digital dengan rerata N gain score sebesar 57,64% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Kata kunci: Digital Marketing, Kompetensi Berwirausaha, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, Praktik Bisnis, Proyek Kewirausahaan.

Abstract

In the world of children, physical activities are a vital key to their development, and play becomes a crucial aspect in this process. Utilizing play equipment, children's learning and interaction can be facilitated. Through the Community Engagement initiative conducted by the Mechanical Engineering Education at Bakuwu Kindergarten, Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR), innovative principles are integrated into the creation of children's play equipment. The primary objective of this initiative is to gain insights from both teachers and parents regarding the produced play equipment. The research methodology employs a mixed-methods design, incorporating Pareto analysis. The results reveal that maintenance and upkeep of the play equipment constitute a predominant issue, contributing to 34% of the overall problems. It can be concluded that the maintenance of play equipment is a critical element in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of activities. Sustained development and improvement have long-term benefits for children, educators, and the community. Recommendations for enhancement encompass heightened awareness, regular maintenance, and the implementation of continuous improvement cycles, aligning with the Pareto analysis principles that emphasize addressing the most significant issues for optimal outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse teachers' performance in Lesson Study implementation and its impact on students' self-learning in Basic Automotive Engineering subject at SMK Negeri 1 Palangkla Raya. Lesson Study is a method of developing teacher professionalism that focuses on planning, observing, and reflecting on learning, while students' self-learning to learn independently. The research was conducted using qualitative methods and data were obtained through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and questionnaires to students. The results showed that the teacher's performance in implementing lesson planning, the use of teaching materials and the effectiveness of learning is very good, only in technical skills and the application of learning strategies that are still lacking and need to be improved. Meanwhile, students' self-learning tends to be low which is inversely proportional to teachers' self-learning which tends to be high.
