Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the Xkwaver community utilizes the Telegram messaging service application as a communication medium to support its mission of becoming a safety place for Kpop and Kdrama fans to learn Islam and develop insights. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where the researcher explains his research with data sourced from interviews, observations, and documentation. From the results of the study it was found that the programs launched by the Xkwaver community via Telegram were able to invite community members to improve their quality of life and religious awareness. With the features provided by Telegram, it is felt efficient and effective for staff members to reach Xkwaver members.

Abstract

Indonesia's TikTok application is currently responding to a huge demand for creativity and business from the community. There are now several influencers in the marketing industry who use live features to run their businesses with their own linguistic style and personal branding. A linguistic style is someone's use of the richness of a language when speaking or writing. Moreover, certain types of use can also be interpreted to achieve particular effects or general characteristics of the language of the literary group. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influencer's marketing communication methods for getting customer's attention through the live TikTok feature in doing business. This research method uses the AIDA theory (Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action). The results of this study came from the TikTok account @ddhivaaaaa. This study aims not only to increase knowledge, but also to provide information on the use of language-style his TikTok application in influencer marketing, especially in live events.

Abstract

The presence of children in family life is a source of true happiness for married couples. Her greatest hope rests on the growth of her child. However, there have also been a few births of children that families did not expect, especially those with neurological disorders such as autism that impair sensory integration. The purpose of this study was to measure the communication skills of children with autism in social interactions in the Special School of Kariya Turus (SLB)-C, Medan City. The method used is a qualitative research method that uses targeted sampling techniques to select samples according to researchers. Three autistic children, namely KM, S and BS, were included, and two other informants, Veronica Ginting and Masuda Bula Matanari, participated as class teachers. Data collection techniques are carried out through observations, interviews, and documentary research. This work uses Herbert Blumer's symbolic interaction theory. The results showed that she was the only one in three of her subjects who was recognized as having the ability to successfully interact socially. KMs are interactive in their social interactions with researchers, such as reading, writing, counting, and following commands. However, S and BS show deficits in social interaction. They showed no stability in eye contact and were not very cooperative in answering the researchers' questions.

Abstract

The development of the internet has had a major impact on moral behavior, many generations are easily influenced by negative behavior in their social environment, Indonesia's moral generation in modern times faces many significant challenges. In line with this, it is hoped that the HMI organization will produce innovative and moral students within the commissariat of the Faculty of Social Sciences, UIN North Sumatra. The aims of this research are: (1) To determine the Implementation of Innovative and Moral Education Organizations; (2) Bringing Up Factors Supporting and Hindering the Implementation of Innovative and Moral Organizational Education; and (3) Assessing the Impact of Implementing Innovative and Moral Education Organizations. This research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman methodology, it also includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the findings of research conducted by the research organization HMI Commissariat of the Faculty of Social Sciences, it can be concluded that (1) Implementation of innovative and moral organizational education, namely admonishing fellow members, politeness in speaking, time discipline, mutual respect internally and externally (2) Factors supporters in the implementation of innovative and ethical organizational education, namely interest, sincerity, loyalty in realizing HMI organizations in realizing innovative and ethical students. And the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the HMI organization in realizing innovative and moral students at the Faculty of Social Sciences Commissariat are inconsistent student attendance and different student characteristics.

Abstract

Television is still the main public means of accessing information in its audio-visual format. DAAI TV is a private television station owned by the Tzu Chi Buddhist humanitarian foundation with the motto truth, virtue and beauty. All levels of management and reporters carry a moral responsibility for every program they produce. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of reporters during the news production process at DAAI TV Medan Bureau.This study used a qualitative method by interviewing two reporters and an assistant for the Sumatra Frame news program. The results of the study show how the role of the Medan bureau DAAI TV reporter in the news production process through four broadcast media management functions, namely the planning stage, namely at this stage the role of the reporter is to find and determine news coverage material, the organizing stage (organizing) namely dividing the coverage theme, the implementation stage (directing) is executing what has been designed in the pre-production stage together with the cameraman, and the control stage is making scripts and coordinating with the editor to produce news coverage that is airworthy.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of Islamic communities in preserving historical buildings in Sei Glugur Village, Pancur Batu Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency. The study addresses how the Muslim community maintains its cultural identity through these preservation efforts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected via observations, interviews with key informants, including the Village Head and building caretakers, as well as documentation. Guided by Indonesian Law No. 11 of 2010 on Cultural Heritage, the research reveals the community’s active role in utilizing and maintaining historical buildings. For example, the Sri Maha Laksmi Temple is still functional, a logistics warehouse was repurposed as a public school, and a Dutch-era house became the Al-Istiqomah Mosque. Factors such as the community’s long-term residence and hereditary ties to colonial-era workers contribute to their preservation awareness. However, some buildings, including the administration office and tobacco warehouse, remain underutilized. The study concludes that community-government partnerships are essential to optimize the use and preservation of these structures. Recommendations include allocating resources for adaptive reuse and emphasizing cultural tourism and local identity enhancement.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Effect of Using Celebrity Endorsers in Attracting Interest in Buying Instagram Social Media Users (Case Study of FISUINSU Students). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of x1 attractiveness (attractiveness), x2 trustworthiness (trust), and x3 expertise (expertise) owned by celebrity endorsers on buying interest of Instagram social media users. Data was collected through the questionnaire method with a population of 615 using the slovin formula, so 86 samples were obtained. Then an analysis of the data obtained was carried out in the form of quantitative analysis which included validity, reliability tests, through the f test and t test to prove the hypothesis. The data used is multiple linear regression analysis which functions to see the effect. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing (t test) which is processed using SPSS 22 Attractiveness variables (attractiveness) affect purchase intention with a value of Sig. 0.001 <0.05, Trustworthiness has no effect on buying interest with a Sig value. 0.215> 0.05, Expertise (expertise) affects the purchase intention with a value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, from the results of the t test it is found that one of the variables, namely trustworthiness, has no significant effect on the purchase intention of Instagram social media users. In the test of the coefficient of determination, together the variables Attractiveness (attractiveness), Trustworthiness (trust), Expertise (skills) affect the purchase intention of 82.4%. The remaining 17.6% Purchase intention (Y) is influenced by other variables not used in this study.

Abstract

This article or writing aims to find out what kind of perception arises in the audience regarding the issue of the impact of social media that is shown in the film The Social Dilemma. The problem is focused on the type of perception that comes out when watching the film The Social Dilemma, whether the perception is positive or negative. Marshal McLuhan, The data were collected through Questionnaire and Literature Study and analyzed quantitatively. This study concludes that 57.7% of respondents answered that the message conveyed was related to the impact of social media, which means that the perception that arises is a positive perception after the audience watches the film The Social Dilemma.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Representation of the Semiotic Analysis of Moral Messages in the Iqro My Universe Film". The purpose of this study is to analyze the moral messages in the film "Iqro My Universe". The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method to explain the moral messages in the film. The research subject is the Iqro My Universe film with a duration of 231 minutes consisting of 80 scenes in total and 7 scenes as objects of analysis. The theory used to analyze this research is the Mass Communication Model, and Semiotic Analysis by Roland Barthes which consists of denotation, connotation, and myth. The results of this study found that in the Iqro My Universe film there are 7 scenes or scenes that contain moral messages. Some of the moral messages that are divided into sub-themes/scene scenes that the researcher chose include, among others; First, every effort we make will never betray the results. Second, the children's family where we come and return. Therefore, family is the most important aspect in our life. Third, don't ever judge someone just from their appearance. Because the eye can only see, feelings can be wrong and negative thinking is a bad attitude that must be eliminated. The film Iqro My Universe teaches us that weak social beings like us cannot be separated from two factors, namely fellow humans and God.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is communication that occurs between two or more people, who have a clear relationship, done face-to-face both verbally and non-verbally, with interpersonal communication will be able to affect the relationship between one another and connected in a certain way. Interpersonal communication is used by counseling guidance teachers in overcoming student delinquency at SMA Nurul Falah Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal communication strategies that were carried out between counseling guidance teachers and students in overcoming student delinquency at Nurul Falah High School Jakarta and to determine the inhibiting factors of the counseling counseling teacher's interpersonal communication process in overcoming student delinquency at Nurul Falah High School Jakarta.
