Abstract

The relocation of the State Capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan Province has the potential to increase the intensity of development in Samarinda City as a buffer city for the IKN as well as the city with the largest population. High urbanization leads to population growth and increased land demand which has an impact on land use change. However, the city of Samarinda currently does not meet the minimum standard of 30% of the green open space area. This is in line with the increase in temperature that occurs with a high risk of extreme weather disasters. High temperatures can affect the Temperature Humadity Index (THI), especially when the THI exceeds 26°C, which is the comfort limit. Therefore, analysis is needed to identify THI and land cover using image interpretation analysis techniques and multiple linear regression statistical analysis. THI for the last 10 years (2014 - 2023), the lowest value in 2014 and the highest in 2020. The t-test showed that the variable of built land with a value of 0.00 and vegetation with a value of 0.03 had an effect on THI. Keywords : Temperature Humadity Index, Land Cover, Green Open Space

Abstract

Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2012 concerning Balikpapan City Regional Spatial Plan Year 2012-2032 and Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2019 concerning Green Open Space Management emphasize that public green space should be 30% of the total area of the city or urban area, with 20% public green space and 10% private green space. The public green space currently managed by the city government only reaches 0.57% of the total area of Balikpapan city which amounts to 50,330 ha. based on these data, the achievement of the 20% public green space target of 10,066 ha is still far from the requirements so that efforts are needed to achieve the target. Therefore, a study is needed to be able to meet the needs of RTH in terms of land analysis in determining which locations or areas have the potential as RTH in Balikpapan City, as well as how the direction of RTH development in Balikpapan City. The method used is Spatial Multi Criteria Analysis (SMCA) modeling. One of the most popular spatial multi criteria analysis techniques is AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), AHP analysis is based on experts in related institutions. There are 7 criteria that are influential in determining the potential of green open space in Balikpapan City, the modeling results are divided into four classes ranging from very potential, potential, less potential, to non-potential. From the potential land obtained, it is expected to fulfill the green open space needs of Balikpapan City based on the area and population. The total area of land that has the potential to be developed into green open space is 88.25 ha. With this addition, the total fulfillment of public green open space in Balikpapan City can be assumed to be 0.75%. Keywords : AHP, Potential green space land, Green Open Space, SMCA

Abstract

The Climate Village Program is one of the strategies of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to reduce the impact of climate change. One of the areas experiencing the impact of landslide climate change is Margo Mulyo Village. The climate village program in Margo Mulyo Village aims to increase environmental resilience and reduce the risk of disasters related to climate change and can increase awareness in dealing with the impacts of climate change. The aim of this research is to evaluate the climate village program (PROKLIM) in Margo Mulyo Village. The variables that will be used in this research are effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness and accuracy. The sampling technique in this research was using the Slovin formula and a sample of 83 respondents was obtained. This research uses descriptive statistical analysis and a Likert scale. The results of this research showed that 3 priority variables still need improvement, but other variables also need to be improved as well.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi dan sistem informasi yang semakin pesat membuat informasi dapat diakses secara luas dan mudah. Perkembangan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pemasaran secara online. Kota Samarinda memiliki kawasan industri rumahan yang memproduksi kain tenun, yaitu Kampung Tenun. Kampung Tenun merupakan usaha industri kain tenun yang telah diwariskan secara turun temurun agar industri tersebut dapat terus dilestarika. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan dari industri kain tenun adalah Kain Sarung Samarinda dan Kain Tajong Samarinda, yang dikreasikan menjadi peci, tas, sepatu, dan properti tari-tarian untuk meningkatkan harga jualnya. Selain dijadikan sebagai warisan budaya, kegiatan industri kain tenun di Kampung Tenun juga merupakan atraksi wisata budaya di Kota Samarinda. Pada tahun 2015, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) memberikan program pengembangan UMKM dengan bantuan teknologi digital guna memperluas pemasaran dengan memjual produk secara online (Indotelko.com, 2015). Namun program tersebut belum dapat diimplementasikan secara optimal. Tujuan dari kegiaatan pengabdian ini adalah dapat meningkatkan perekonomian melalui pelatihan penggunaan e-commerce pada UMKM pengarajin tenun di Kampung Tenun, Kota Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan sosialisasi penggunaan e commerce. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah masyarakat mengetahui mekanisme pejualan secara online melalui media Bukalapak. Kata Kunci:  Kampung Tenun, E Commerce, Samarinda

Abstract

This study aims to map the flood evacuation route in North Sangatta District. Several analyzes were used in this study to achieve the objectives to be achieved, first of all analyzing the level of vulnerability to floods in North Sangatta District by using the overlay method. In determining the route used network analyst method. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it is found that the level of vulnerability to flooding is divided into three, namely low, medium and high. Evacuation routes obtained 22 evacuation route directions with 9 evacuation location points.

Abstract

The flood events frequently impacting Samarinda City have not yet been thoroughly examined based on their intensity, particularly in the most flood-prone village in the city, East Sempaja Village. This paper employed a rigorous methodology, including K-means cluster analysis and Getis-Ord G* statistics, to reveal spatial clustering patterns based on flood intensity and residential drainage conditions in East Sempaja. The Spearman correlation was determined to identify the relationship between both factors. The present study demonstrates that using community-derived data can enhance flood disaster mitigation strategies, particularly within regions with insufficient data availability. The analysis shows that most neighborhood areas in East Sempaja have moderate to high flood intensity levels. The areas with high flood intensity are spread across the North. This paper confirms that the condition of drainage channels has a positive, yet weak, significant relationship with the level of flood intensity. Thus, optimizing drainage channels is still relevant in managing flood disasters in East Sempaja, providing practical strategies for a pressing issue.

Abstract

Pengembangan agrowisata, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, meningkatkan kesadaran positif petani dan masyarakat akan pentingnya melestarikan sumber daya lahan pertanian. Sbotop adalah salah satu kelurahan yang terletak di kecamatan Tenggarong dengan luas wilayah 12 Km2. Dengan kondisi eksisting wilayah yang masih dominan berupa perkebunan dan persawahan masyarakat yang masih banyak dijumpai sehingga hal ini menjadikan wilayah Sbotop dijadikan salah satu wilayah pengembangan agrowisata. Output dari penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran terkait strategi dalam pengembangan agrowisata di Desa Sbotop. Perhitungan analisis SBOBET, diperoleh kombinasi Strength-Opportunieties dengan nilai 3,4, meningkatkan pengelolaan agrowisata dengan meningkatkan produktivitas kebun, pengembangan varietas Panen, perawatan pasca panen dan keindahan taman. Meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia: melibatkan petani untuk memberikan informasi produk kepada pengunjung, menjaga kualitas buah yang dihasilkan, meningkatkan jaminan keamanan yaitu memasang pagar taman, melengkapi fasilitas rekreasi, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan khusus.

Abstract

Traditional markets are often associated with unhygienic conditions and limited facilities. This makes consumers uncomfortable shopping in traditional markets and results in traditional markets losing out to modern markets. Therefore, it is important for traditional markets to be empowered in order to maintain their sustainability and existence. Balikpapan Permai Market is one of the existing markets in Balikpapan and has various problems related to the quality and physical and non-physical conditions of the market. The purpose of this research is to find out the supporting factors of Balikpapan Permai Market revitalization by using smart living approach and SNI 8152:2021 Pasar Rakyat. Smart living will review in terms of harmony, health, mobility, security, and building, while SNI 8152:2021 Pasar Rakyat will review in terms of general requirements, technical requirements, and management requirements. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method by conducting several stages of research. The results of this research are supporting factors that make Balikpapan Permai Market needs revitalization by reviewing the existing conditions and opinions from the head of UPT market, traders, and market visitors.

Abstract

The conditions of traditional markets are dirty and irregular, supporting the fact that people prefer to shop in modern places. Nowadays, it needs to be realised that the only centre of trade is no longer in traditional markets, the increasing number of modern markets can make traditional markets need to survive in competition so as not to be eroded by the times. There is a need for innovation in traditional markets to advance the market economy so that traditional markets can compete with other markets. Pandansari Market is one of the markets located in Balikpapan City and has various problems related to the quality and physical and non-physical conditions of the market. The goal of this research is to find out the supporting factors of Pandansari Market revitalisation by using smart living approach and SNI 8152:2021 People's Market. Smart living will review in terms of harmony, health, and mobility. Smart environment will review in terms of infrastructure, protection, and energy. Meanwhile, SNI 8152:2021 Public Market will review in terms of general requirements, technical requirements, and management requirements. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method by conducting several stages of research. The results of this study are the supporting factors that make Pandansari Market necessary for revitalisation through a review of existing conditions and opinions from the UPT market, traders, and market visitors.

Abstract

Kota Samarinda, ibu kota Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam menyelaraskan pertumbuhan pesat dengan pengembangan infrastruktur yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dimensi infrastruktur Kota Samarinda menggunakan City Prosperity Index (CPI) dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui survei literatur untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dari kota-kota yang telah sukses dalam analisis CPI. Dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi, studi ini membandingkan hasil CPI Samarinda dengan kriteria CPI dan best practice dari kota lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa aspek infrastruktur Samarinda, seperti akses air bersih, kepadatan penduduk, ketersediaan dokter, dan transportasi umum, memerlukan perbaikan signifikan untuk mencapai kategori “cukup kuat”. Rekomendasi termasuk peningkatan cakupan layanan dasar, pengembangan transportasi massal, dan perbaikan fasilitas sosial. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peringkat CPI Samarinda dan mendukung kemakmuran kota secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan praktis untuk pengembangan infrastruktur dan kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan daya saing ekonomi Kota Samarinda.
