Abstract

Developments The world is currently faced with the phenomenon of digital disruption, which is a situation indicated by the movement of the industrial world or job competition that is no longer linear. In the field of courses, currently there has also been an online course service that can be accessed via the web/page. One is a Learning Management Systems (LMS) based course that allows instructors and/or students to share material, submit and return assignments, and communicate online. The research method used is research and development using the product development concept from ADDIE which consists of 5 stages, namely (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The results of research and development of a Learning Management System (LMS)-based computer course model that has been tested on PAUD teachers and education staff show that the practicality of this model is very well implemented by instructors and can be applied by course organizers. The results of the course learning in the trial can improve the skills of PAUD teachers and education personnel in the office application computer course program.

Abstract

Isyatun Radiah, 2022. Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbahasa Anak dengan Menggunakan Media Kartun Islami pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Bukit Permai 2 Kabupaten Gowa. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Pembimbing I Andi Paida dan Pembimbing II Arie Martuty. ​Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu, bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa anak dengan menggunakan media kartun islami pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Bukit Permai 2 Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan menggunakan media kartun islami dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak pada anak usia dini di TK Bukit Permai 2 Kabupaten Gowa. ​Jenis ppenelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat tiga kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaa, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Bukit Permai 2, sebanyak 20 anak. ​Setiap siklus I dan II mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini berdasarkan pada pencapaian kemampuan berbahasa anak pada indikator mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap pada tiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I rata-rata anak berada pada kriteria mulai berkembang (MB), sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata anak berada pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media kartun islami dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif bagi guru TK Bukit Permai 2 untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berbahasa anak.

Abstract

he assessment practice in Indonesian Higher Education presently uses the traditional methods, which are assessment for learning and assessment as learning. However, the new perspective on assessment proposes that it should include the process of learning called Assessment for Learning (AFL) and this assessment can be enhanced through the Constructive Alignment (CA) method. The main objective of this study was to determine the correlation between AFL and CA based on age. The respondents of this study were 454 lecturers of 11 Universities selected through multistage cluster sampling method. This study used explanatory sequential design, a combination of quantitative and qualitative method. Quantitative data were obtained using questionnaires followed by qualitative data collection using interviews. The qualitative data were used to explain the quantitative data results. Quantitative data were analyzed using ANOVA, chi-square, and SEM. The validity and reliability of the instruments were determined using the Rasch Model. The findings showed that there was a high correlation level of AFL and CA practice among the lecturers.Keywords: Assessment for Learning, Constructive Alignment, Indonesian Higher Education

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to improve the science skills of group B children by applying a simple experimental method at An-Nur Pa'bangngiang Islamic kindergarten, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is class action research consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The study subjects were and 16 children of group B2 at An-Nur Pa'bangngiang Islamic Kindergarten. The object of this study is to apply simple experimental activities to improve children's science skills. Data collection techniques used for observation and documentation. The data analysis used is a quantitative description. The results of this study show that there is an improvement in children's science skills through simple experimental activities in group B children at An-Nur Pa'bangngiang Islamic kindergarten. Research in cycle I and cycle II shows that children's science skills can be seen from the observational results of children's science skills in cycle I are 40.6% and the observational results of children's science skills in cycle II are 89.6% with Excellent Development criteria. Thus it can be concluded that by applying simple experimental activities can improve science skills in group B children at An-Nur Pa'bangngiang Islamic kindergarten.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping a generation that is integrated, united, and appreciates the nation's noble values. However, technological developments and social phenomena in Indonesia indicate a decline in character among the younger generation, especially in early childhood education (PAUD) settings. This study aims to develop an experiential learning-based learning model rooted in local culture to shape the character of Pancasila in early childhood. The research methodology used is research and development (R&D) with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The model trial was conducted at TK RAMA, Group B, using observation techniques and paired sample t-tests to measure changes in children's character. The results show that the application of the ARIE model has a significant impact on improving the development of Pancasila character in the students, with an average N Gain score of 0.8, indicating the effectiveness of the model in character building. This learning model successfully created a learning environment that supports the development of values such as cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity in children. Based on these findings, the experiential learning model based on local culture can be a solution for implementing Pancasila character education in PAUD and contribute to forming a generation with strong integrity and a high sense of nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of playdough games  on the improvement of fine motor skills of group B children at Al-Iman Padi Gantarang Bulukumba Kindergarten. The research method used was an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design  on 12 children as a sample. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test to test the difference in scores before and after treatment. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in children's fine motor skills after playing playdough, with the average score increasing from 20.75 to 54.83, suggesting that this game was effective in training children's fine motor skills. In addition, playdough games  also attract children's attention, making the learning process more fun and interactive

Abstract

The PKM are designed to provide an understanding of the importance of digital literacy skills in the current fast-paced development of digital technology. The service activities were conducted in Barru Regency for early childhood educators, based on interviews and observations that indicated a limited understanding and experience among educators in maximizing the use of digital technology in the learning process. This service was conducted using a workshop model that combined methods of delivering material and hands-on practice in designing, modifying, and developing learning materials using the Canva application. The results of the training showed that educators experienced an increase in motivation to utilize digital applications in learning activities, as well as an improvement in their skills in designing learning materials using the Canva application.

Abstract

Young children often have difficulty concentrating and are easily distracted, which hinders their learning and cognitive development. According to Piaget's theory, the concentration of 5- to 6-year-olds is influenced by their ability to shift their attention. This study aims to evaluate the effect of implementing mindfulness on improving concentration in young children. Mindfulness is defined as a full awareness approach that involves activities such as breathing exercises, meditation, and environmental observation. The study uses a pre-experimental method with a "One Group Pretest-Posttest" design, involving 16 children aged 5-6 years. Mindfulness was applied over six sessions, with measurements of children's concentration before and after the treatment, which included simple breathing exercises, listening to nature sounds, and observing objects with full attention. The results showed a significant improvement in children's concentration after the mindfulness intervention. This indicates that mindfulness helps children to focus more and manage their attention better. Therefore, mindfulness is an effective approach to enhancing concentration in young children and supporting their cognitive development. The implementation of mindfulness is highly recommended in early childhood education as a strategy to optimize learning potential and should be applied more widely in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in early childhood. This study used a pre-experimental design  with the One Group Pretest-Posttest model, involving 15 children aged 5–6 years in a private kindergarten in the Gatot Subroto area. The PBL model is applied through activities that allow children to observe phenomena, identify problems, design solutions, and draw conclusions independently. Data collection was carried out through observation of high-level thinking skills at two stages, namely before and after PBL treatment. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed an increase in the average score from the pretest by 26.67 to 52.53 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test showed a significance value (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.05, which indicates a significant effect of the application of PBL on the improvement of children's high-level thinking skills. These findings suggest that PBL is effective in developing analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills in early childhood. The implication of the results of this study is the need to integrate problem-based learning models in the early childhood education curriculum as a strategy to optimize cognitive development and children's readiness to face future challenges

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data terkait gambaran penggunaan media pembelajaran anak usia dini berbasis aplikasi powtoon dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar literasi pada tahap pondasi atau pada masa golden age. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen semu. Non-equivalent Control Group Design dilakukan untuk melihat capaian pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Pelangi Kabupaten Bulukumba pada bulan Agustus 2023 pada kelompok B1 dan B2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 18 anak yang terdiri dari 7 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala likert berkisar antara 1 sampai 4 dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi powtoon menunjukkan potensi positif dalam mengembangkan hasil belajar literasi tahap pondasi dengan menyusun rencana kegiatan dimulai dari tahap pra bermain, bermain, dan pasca bermain. tahapan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan analisis uji t sampel independen diperoleh Thitung = 10,703 dengan nilai Ttabel = 2,03 sehingga Thitung (10,703) > Ttabel (2,03), dengan nilai P = Sig.0.00 < 0,05. Maka diasumsikan H1 diterima, bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan animasi powtoon mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar literasi anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pelangi Bulukumba. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Powtoon, Literasi, Tahap Pondasi ABSTRACT. This study aims to obtain data related to the description of the use of early childhood learning media based on the powtoon application and its effect on literacy learning outcomes in the foundation phase or in the golden age period. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment research method. Non-equivalent Control Group Design was conducted to see the pre-test and post-test achievements. The research was conducted at Pelangi Kindergarten in Bulukumba Regency in August 2023 in groups B1 and B2, each with 18 children consisting of 7 girls and 11 boys. The assessment was carried out using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 4 and hypothesis testing using an independent sample t test. The results showed that the description of the learning process with the application of powtoon application-based learning media showed positive potential in developing literacy learning outcomes in the foundation phase by developing an activity plan starting with the pre-play, play, and post-play stages. According to the results of the calculation using the independent sample t test analysis, Thitung = 10.703 with the value of Ttabel = 2.03, so Thitung (10.703) > Ttabel (2.03), with a P value = Sig.0.00 <0.05. So it is assumed that H1 is accepted, that learning by applying powtoon animation has an influence on the literacy learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at Pelangi Bulukumba Kindergarten. Keywords: learning media, powtoon, literacy, foundation phase
