Abstract

Empowerment of the creative economy and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is an activity that can be carried out to improve the economic welfare of the people in Gowa Regency, especially for business actors. Digitization efforts are applied as a means of improvement. The empowerment process is carried out with the socialization method, namely by conveying aspects of legal digitization and economic digitalization aspects. This activity was attended by 18 target participants from 18 sub-districts in Gowa Regency, and 1 participant representing each sub-district. Each participant is a youth in the youth category who represents and is sent from each sub-district. This empowerment is useful for participants in understanding and understanding the implementation of legal digitization by establishing and registering business entities, registering Intellectual Property Rights online, and registering business licenses online. In addition, increasing motivation by participating in online trainings, conducting online marketing strategies in various social media and marketplaces, getting business success tips on official websites from the government and digitalization media.

Abstract

Studies regarding the care of prisoners' children always involve the psychological problems that arise. So far, the existing findings do not examine the socio-economic perspective in the practice of caring for the children of prisoners. This research is important to do to find out how the family is able to organize itself. For support parenting children, what about stigma and discrimination to family prisoner influence methods they educate children their relationships with neighbors and community around impact on his upbringing and what his condition is like social economy influence parenting child prisoner? This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews and participant observation, using case studies on families of corruption case inmates at Class 1 Correctional Institutions (Lapas) in Makassar City. Using an ethnographic approach with case studies through descriptive analysis of social structure, family structure, social support, and the impact of socio-economic conditions of prisoners on child care in terms of finances, education, employment, and economic support, which influence the ability of prisoner parents to provide adequate attention and care, worthy of their children. Researchers found that socioeconomic conditions play an important role in the upbringing of prisoners' children. Challenges in access to education and health services, economic limitations in providing care, and the impact of social stigma are important aspects that need to be considered in helping prisoners' families provide quality care for their children. By understanding the impact of these social and economic factors, it is hoped that this research can provide deeper insight and support in designing appropriate interventions to improve the quality of care for prisoners' children in families with limited socio-economic conditions.

Abstract

Krisis pangan yang dialami masyarakat Kalimantan Barat (Kalbar) tiga tahun terakhir semakin memperburuk ketergantungan pada pangan impor. Hal ini tidak hanya berdampak pada ketahanan pangan, tetapi juga pada pelestarian budaya lokal yang terkait erat dengan keanekaragaman pangan. Seminar dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) yang diadakan pada 20 Januari 2025, mengundang partisipasi berbagai pemangku kepentingan lokal, termasuk Komunitas Rotan Kapuas (Restorasi Sungai dan Hutan Kapuas) Kalbar, Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan Wilayah XII, Dosen Antropologi Sosial Universitas Tanjungpura, serta beberapa komunitas lokal di Kalbar, untuk secara kolaboratif mencari solusi terhadap permasalahan ini. Dalam FGD tersebut, peserta mengemukakan beragam pandangan mengenai signifikansi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengenali dan memanfaatkan pangan lokal sebagai pilar utama ketahanan pangan, serta upaya untuk melestarikan identitas budaya. Selain itu, mereka menekankan pentingnya peningkatan pemahaman generasi muda tentang nilai pangan lokal, serta penerapan kebijakan yang mendukung keberlanjutan produksi pangan lokal. Temuan dari FGD menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan penguatan kebijakan berbasis sumber daya lokal dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada pangan impor dan meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan ketahanan budaya di dalam masyarakat. Sehingga, peningkatan sistem pangan lokal tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai obat untuk mengatasi krisis pangan, tetapi juga sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan warisan budaya yang merupakan identitas masyarakat Kalbar.

Abstract

With an emphasis on incorporating the values of solidarity, togetherness, mutual cooperation and social empathy into the curriculum and teaching strategies at various levels of education, this research seeks to contextualize Mapasabatu local wisdom in the creation of educational materials in Tolitoli Regency. Data collection was carried out using a qualitative approach to understand the local wisdom of Mapasabatu and the potential for its integration in teaching materials. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with the Department of Education and Culture, cultural experts, community leaders, teachers, students, as well as a review of related literature. Content analysis was used to identify relevant Mapasabatu elements. Initial teaching materials were prepared, validated by experts, and tested in Tolitoli schools. Feedback from educators and students is used to improve teaching materials, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance. The results show how contextual techniques, folklore, and digital media can be used to incorporate Mapasabatu values into learning. These teaching resources enhance social ideals and increase student engagement. Based on research findings, it is concluded that Mapasabatu Local Wisdom is effective in developing teaching materials, strengthening students' character, increasing their involvement, and teaching social values in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Inclusive Economic Education Program based on Sustainable Management to improve the financial resilience of urban families in Makassar. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design, involving target families who participate in training and mentoring programs. The results show a significant improvement in financial literacy and behavior, including understanding needs and wants, budgeting, saving habits, utilization of formal financial services, and adoption of fintech. These findings imply that similar programs are worth replicating to strengthen the economic resilience of families in urban areas in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak sinergi antara intervensi manajemen keuangan dan pendidikan ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan finansial masyarakat perkotaan di kawasan padat Kota Makassar. Pendekatan campuran digunakan dalam studi ini, dengan menggabungkan data kuantitatif berupa pre-test dan post-test literasi serta perilaku keuangan pada 60 responden, serta data kualitatif dari observasi lapangan dan wawancara mendalam dengan peserta, tokoh masyarakat, dan fasilitator pelatihan. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pelatihan manajemen keuangan berbasis kebutuhan praktis warga, menggunakan modul sederhana dan simulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada indikator literasi dan perilaku keuangan pasca pelatihan, disertai perubahan sikap dalam pencatatan anggaran, prioritas pengeluaran, serta komunikasi keuangan dalam keluarga. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya kolaborasi antara intervensi berbasis komunitas dan pendidikan ekonomi untuk memperbaiki kesejahteraan finansial masyarakat urban. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi kebijakan terhadap pengembangan program literasi keuangan yang kontekstual dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test a fintech-integrated economic education model to improve inclusive financial competence among millennial MSMEs in Makassar City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved ten MSME actors selected purposively and explored their financial behavior, challenges, and responses to a structured training model. The model combines basic economic education, practical use of digital financial applications, and reflective learning processes. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and pre-test and post-test analysis. The results show significant behavioral changes in financial management, including routine bookkeeping, financial separation between personal and business funds, and improved budgeting practices using fintech tools. The model proves effective in contextualizing economic education and digital literacy within the everyday business practices of MSMEs. These findings underscore the importance of designing participatory, practical, and technology assisted learning models to enhance financial inclusion and empower small business actors sustainably.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to empower creative industry-based e-commerce in local governments in Enrekang district. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive method in the form of observation. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The reference for this research determines informants using purposive sampling techniques. The focus of this research is the efforts and strategies of MSME owners and the Enrekang district government in empowering creative industry-based e-commerce to increase creative industry income in the melona baba dairy cattle group. In this research, the research target is collaboration between the local government and the MSME owners of the Melona Baba dairy cattle group in empowering e-commerce. The results of this research show that the regional government has facilitated the procurement of dairy cows, food, and budgets for other needs in developing MSMEs. In terms of e-commerce empowerment itself, it has been implemented by the Melona Baba dairy cattle group as the only dairy cattle MSME that utilizes digitalization in the development of its MSMEs, but cooperation in e-commerce empowerment has not yet been developed with the Enrekang district government. The results of the interview research indicate that there is a need for direct involvement from local governments in increasing understanding of empowering e-commerce based on creative industries.

Abstract

The potential of the Kete Kesu Tourism Object and the creative economy as an element of regional original income This study aims to find out what the potential of the creative economy is in Kete Kesu Village, Sanggalangi District, North Toraja Regency, and to determine the impact of the creative economy on development in Kete Kesu Village, Sanggalangi District, North Toraja Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data collection method used in this study is observation, interview, and documentation, where the author sees the situation directly in the field. The research results obtained by researchers indicate that the creative economic potential in Kete Kesu Village, Sanggalangi District, North Toraja Regency, has very broad potential. It can be involved in the business that is mostly carried out, which is trending handicrafts, carvings, and souvenirs, as well as trending woven fabrics. Therefore, we can see that in Kete Kesu Village, it has very broad potential for developing the creative economy, and the second goal is the impact of the creative economy on development in Kete Kesu Village, Sanggalangi District, North Toraja Regency, namely to have a positive impact on development. Specifically, the existence of development makes tourists interested in visiting. This has increased the creative economy in the village.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the role of the School Committee in SD Negeri 1 Maibua. This study uses a descriptive type survey method. The population is heterogeneous, and the sampling was done by purposive sampling. Types of data in the form of qualitative and quantitative. The data sources are primary and secondary. Three data collection techniques were used, namely: questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively qualitatively, namely by grouping the data by categorization and then each category is given a percentage weight according to the existing events. The findings show that the role of the School Committee in SD Negeri 1 Maibua is quite effective.
